9mm AR Pistol – Angstadt Arms UDP-9–SHOT Show 2015
Published: February 4, 2015 { 27 comments }Some pistol caliber carbines seem like someone simply converted a 5.56 AR to 9mm, and forced everything to work. The UDP-9 from Angstadt Arms is an obvious exception. This pistol maintains AR familiarity, but doesn’t take the 9mm for granted. Is this the best in its class?
Leupold’s New D-EVO Changes Everything–SHOT Show 2015
Published: February 4, 2015 { 9 comments }The Leupold D-EVO is harder to describe than it is to understand. It is an optic that allows you to see magnified targets. It also allows you to see targets at close range, unmagnified. At the same time. It is kind of like a badass bifocal, and it is going to change the way we think about optics.

Precision Formed Custom Holsters from Multi-Holsters
Published: January 29, 2015 { 8 comments }I don’t pull any punches with holster makers. It is incredibly easy to heat up some Kydex and bend it around a gun. It is much more difficult to make bent Kydex into a functional holster that you’d trust your life to. It isn’t a half-assed skill. And those of you reading this might be surprised by how many times we’re approached by aspiring holster makers who want to showcase their skills. Let’s just be clear on this point–I turn at least half of them away becasue they’re not ready. And when I need a holster, I go to Multi Holsters first.
