Red dots sights (RDS) on handguns have been around competitive shooting, SWAT teams, and special military units for decades.

In the winter of 2004 a joint US, Iraqi, and British operation kicked off in Iraq. Local forces called it Operation Al-Fajr. Allied troops titled it Operation Phantom Fury. The world came to know this simply epic scrap as the Second Battle of Fallujah.

For those who use a rail-mounted front sight or a visible/IR laser attached to a rail, rigidity and return to zero play a huge factor in getting accurate shot placement downrange.

As with everything, choosing a cartridge for suppressed hunting is full of good, better, and best options. 375 Raptor is the cartridge that I would place in the “best” category.
