The word on the street lately is, “don’t worry they won’t be able to pass anything.” But yet, if you watch this video of VP Joe Biden, which is dated February 19th, only a couple days ago, he is still out there hard charging against AR-15s. This time he is giving us all advice for home defense, that we should arm our wives with a double barrel 12 gauge shotgun, “in case there is a problem,” and that said wife should shoot both barrels out the back door as a precautionary warning measure, just in case. It is a good thing his wife has never been stalked by someone sitting in his back yard with an AR-15, because after she disarmed herself and endangered her neighbors by foolishly taking Joe’s advice, she would have been a sitting duck. What a nut job this guy is, but he is clearly trying to pander to the “mommy” voters, who, since the Sandy Hook crisis began, have for the most part being walking in lock step behind the anti-gunners. .

Now, I’m quite sure that Joe already had a private security detail long before the taxpayer funded Secret Service protection he now bilks us for, so the story is most likely a complete fabrication. The argument over shotgun vs. AR-15 is semantics, but it does show that the anti-gunners are going to attack this issue from every angle that they can, even trying to convince a Prozac infused America that they are in fact on the side of the people, with proper instructions as to how to protect your home. Here on GunsAmerica we are preaching to the choir, including a lot of you mommies out there who are proud American 2nd Amendment defenders, but every single one of you has a misguided friend that you could talk to, and now is the time to talk to them.

The takeaway for us is that the Obama administration is not giving up this fight, and neither should we. Mayor Bloomberg has given Uncle Joe and his friends at the Brady organization a blank check and a bottomless well of funds, and we all know what politicians do with that. They try to find the bottom of the well. But this time, instead of going after cigarettes or how fast you can drive your car or what your kids are allowed to bring in their lunch to school, these well funded political fools are going after our fundamental, God given right to protect ourselves, canonized in the United States Constitution Bill of Rights as the 2nd Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms.

Joe also manages to try to convince us, and his host, that readers of Parents magazine would never ask about defending their homes. He is of course suggesting that any proper thinking parent would at this point, after 20 white kids got killed in a white school, not have any questions about how to protect their families from harm with a firearm. Prior to Sandy Hook, when golf was mostly what he talked about, it doesn’t seem to have been an issue for Joe. Uncle Joe Biden just gave the old wifey his grandpappy’s 12 gauge to protect herself with, and that was that. Before the white kids got killed there was no national emergency. VP Joe, and of course President Obama himself completely ignored that black and Hispanic readers of Parents magazine in inner city neighborhoods have been losing children to murderers using already illegally owned firearms by the thousands every year. New Orleans, Louisiana is ranked 21st, worldwide in murders per capita. Detroit, Michigan, is 30th, and St. Louis and Baltimore are 43rd and 48th respectively.

Hey Mr. Vice President! Less than 2% of all murders committed with illegal guns in America are committed with a rifle. A fraction of that with what you call (incorrectly) “assault weapons.” It is also amazing that places like Florida and Georgia, where the good guys are allowed to also have guns, aren’t on that top 50 list. Do you really think the readers of Parents magazine are that stupid?

As we have noted several times since November, women were the deciding vote in the 2012 elections. The margin was 20% in the difference from male voters in supporting President Obama , and it signaled a change in the power structure of America. Women are now the only swing vote that matters. Now that Obama can’t run for another term, the Democrat political machine is going to try to coddle women voters as much as they can, so that they retain that 20% margin in the mid-terms and in the 2016 Presidential race. “Arm the victims” is not going to be allowed to come in the gun discussion, and neither is the subject of shipping all of those inner city jobs to China and Mexico. No discussion on inner city violence should even begin without addressing both of those issues of course, yet neither party is interested in “change we can believe in.” They know that for some sick reason they have that inner city vote, and they are counting on retaining the mommy vote by wringing their hands and yelling “we have to do something.” The question is, mommies, are you really going to buy this? Really?

Nobody, not even the NRA, thinks that we have a chance of waking up inner city minorities to the fact that they are being sold out by their own leaders. Inner city church and community leaders in the black and Hispanic communities should be ashamed of themselves for supporting the recent wave of gun turn in programs. Most of these guns are legally owned by law abiding Americans who have the right to protect themselves, but have been completely removed from their 2nd Amendment rights. It makes no sense, and sends the wrong message to both the community and the politicians. America is about freedom and opportunity. Freedom, from the fear of crime and senseless murders of inner city kids, will only come by putting affordable guns in the hands of the law abiding readers of Parents magazine. In fact, Chicago, Detroit, Flint, St. Louis, New Orleans, Baltimore, and every other inner city where it is difficult for a law abiding citizen to own a gun should instantly issue Concealed Carry licenses to every current subscriber to Parents, and buy them a Kel-Tec or Ruger LCP.

Now THAT is real change we can believe in!

Politics is politics to some degree, but mommies, if you look back in history, the singular most dangerous thing a society can do to the safety of their families is to disarm them. If you love your children, stop wringing your hands with Uncle Joe and do some homework. Government has slaughtered more innocents than all the criminals combined, and not just those convenient Jew killing Nazis. A very well meaning group of “socialists” in Russia who thought they could build a peaceful utopia turned into the most murderous regime in the history of man, killing nearly as many families as died in the Holocaust in the Ukraine alone, by starvation. This was less than 100 years ago, and Stalin did it solely because he could, because his population had been disarmed for the communist utopia. When you think of those kids in Sandy Hook, try thinking about the millions of kids who died under Stalin from a long and slow intentional government engineered starvation.

Hand wringing isn’t going to protect your children. Guns, in your hands, not just the government’s, will protect your children, and your children’s children. As a parent, you should be fighting to take “gun control,” and legal ownership of guns by law abiding Americans off the table as a political football, for good. Call your legislators today, and not just at their Washington offices. Call the local numbers. Don’t settle for being a checkmark on a list. Tell the politicians that guns are not on the table, and ask your friends if they really believe what the government is trying to sell them. You can influence them, and if you truly love your family and wish a bright future for them, it is your personal responsibility. If we don’t, or if we think it is someone else’s job, all it will take is the next Sandy Hook or Columbine to pass legislation overnight that is far more severe than what they are unable to pass today. You doubt it? A Seattle legislator tried to get the Washington State “assault weapons” ban passed with a proviso that the police visit existing gun owner homes once a year, just like Nazi brown shirts. He meant it as a “guiding light of where we need to go.” Really mommies? Is that the guiding light that you envision for the future of your children?

I just recently joined the NRA at a gun show (oh, horrors!) If I ever hear of another organization going nose to nose for the 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms with no abridgment of that right, I’ll join them, too. However, the NRA was the only outfit with a trailer outside the gun show, so they got my cash first.

I bought three firearms at that show, none of which is carried by any of my local gun dealers, and I filled out paperwork for every one. That paperwork grates on my nerves, but it is the law where I live. The FFLs who bought the used firearms from private individuals didn’t have to file paperwork showing their purchase … so why should I?

I would have bought four firearms but A) I was running up against my self-imposed budget and B) the show was closing so I didn’t have enough time to talk myself into going over budget.

I’ll get that .308 in a couple weeks.

Everything is over-priced right now … I paid MSRP for used firearms … but I think it better to act now than wait to see how things are going to play out in Washington. I sent my local sheriff (Davidson County, NC) an email offering to pay his way into CSPOA and to stand with him if ever he had to face the feds down. All I got in return was a solicitation for the local sheriffs other ball … or something like that. That wasn’t my offer, so I’m not cutting that check.

I also wrote my congressman, a Democrat. So far I haven’t received even the ‘courtesy’ of a form letter from him. He’s black and is apparently so enamored of having a black President (there’s something called the “one drop of blood” doctrine to be considered) that he is unaware – or doesn’t care – that “his people” are about to be enslaved again.

I’m going to write the rest of my representatives from dog-catcher to governor and also the State Sheriff’s Association and keep track of the responses.

I am signing things with my real name and putting skin in the game. I may have to back up my words with action in the near future, but the years I’ve lived have been mostly good years and I want to leave something useful behind for my grandchildren … a better world and the freedom to enjoy it.

I can’t believe that he skipped the final and most important step of the shotgun self protection procedure he gave to his wife…

    The full process is:

    1) Walk out on the balcony.
    2) Fire two blasts outside the house.
    3) The secret service agents come running with their 30 round magazines and take care of the “problem“.

  • Dick Rust March 16, 2013, 6:11 pm

Joe’s shot gun trick is a joke, if you have time to go out on the deck to shot it, you’ll probley be dead before or after re-entering the house , I have no use for any of the AR’S or any of those types of rifles, a hand held 380 or an 9 mm, with a laser site, and a 10 rd clip, will work much better, even my old 6 shot revolvers have plenty killing power. I’m pretty old & been retired several years, ( knock on wood) but have never had a problem, house has been watched by neighbors, also an alarm system , when we travel a few times a yr. I am with all pro-gun people, if the gov, takes away the AR type gun’s, it’s just a first step! I’m also a long time big game hunter, and if they ever try to attempt to take my guns, I’ll be on the frt lines with all other gun owners. Hopefully many many voters have discovered by now, they screwed up by putting dictatorship back in obamaland, and not just about guns. Would love to see a few impeached. Sure I was heart broken when all those baby’s , or any one is ruthlessly gunned down, but instead of going after law abiding gun owners & voters, spending tax $, foolishly , try going after the ones that are mentally troubled. Certify a few teachers & or have armed security at schools. There are going to be many unemployed military in every state that will need jobs soon. ( if Obama follows thru). Only one hope is after all the damage is done by the Obama administration, 3-1/2 yrs to go, the next prez, will be an honest one, an people get they’re heads out from where the sun don’t shine, only then will we get on the right track.

When they outlaw guns. I will be an outlaw.

  • Mike March 14, 2013, 3:32 pm

So we’ve seen Joe in action before. Back in 1990, the organized sports lobby wanted anabolic steroids outlawed or at least added to the schedule of controlled substances. They were very generous to then Senator Biden’s re-election campaign. Anyway, Good Ol’ Joe thought getting a bunch drugs outlawed would be a slam dunk, right? After all, “drugs is bad”, right? So he scheduled senate hearings and questioned witnesses from the DEA, AMA, FDA, and the National Institutes of Health. Every last one of these extremely knowledgable expert witnesses testified that anabolic steroids possessed NONE of the requirements for scheduling so they could not concur with or recommend scheduling. But wait! Joe’d been paid! He has to deliver!! So he goes out and solicits horror story testimonies from anybody who’s boyfriend, girlfriend, relative, etc, ever flipped out at the same time he or she was on a cycle. Now for the uninitiated, that’s called anectodal evidence and it’s about as unscientific as Joe’s assertion that all Mom needs to do is get a 12-ga and pop a couple rounds out the back door whilst taking cover behind the couch in order to defend her family from a home invader. Anyway, so with all these distraught witnesses crying and wailing about how steroids ruined their loved ones (remember, “drugs is bad!”) the Senate ratified the Anabolic Steroids Control Act of 1990, a law which does nothing except provide another line item in the DEA’s budget and makes criminals out of people whose only crime is wanting a tighter waist and to add another ten pounds to their bench press. Your tax dollars at work! The bottom line is this: Once Joe’s been given his marching orders, he gives no quarter and takes no prisoners, so yes, take this wack-job seriously!

Oh by the way, if anybody doubts the veracity of this little tome, please feel free to consult the congressional record.

And how many of you have been stocked from your backyard by someone with a ar15…. zero im sure… you all just need to buy tanks. That way you will have the fire power to protect you scared little asses. When the big bad zobbie’s come looking for you…

  • Robert Krause March 13, 2013, 5:01 pm

Here is one for you folks. We are the world reserve currency and right now the lenders to the US ( China for 10 trillion for one ) is about to drop the US dollar as the world reserve currency and call in there markers. That means the US will not be able to handle it as that is 10 trillion for China alone and at what interest rate. The Government wants to limit your fire power when we start looking like the UK in the 70s when they as the world reserve currency collapsed. If the US dollar falls flat the government will have to invoke marshal law and if you don’t have the fire power to protect your shelves the public will over run you. If you folks want to be sheep among the wolves go ahead, I my self am stocking up and getting some more fire power.

  • drdos1943 March 13, 2013, 1:08 pm

That’s ridiculous. A twelve year old girl, recently, hidden in a closet while a home invader was trying to break down the closet door, accurately placed a few rounds from a 38 snub-nosed special into the burglar, a very difficult thing to do. An Ar-15 would have been much easier and much more effective.

  • Johnny America March 12, 2013, 4:21 am

Biden and Obama, the Laurel and Hardy of US Presidents. A couple of real idiots. They are truly an embarrassment to this great nation. Biden, try talking about something you know something about; well shucks, that would silence him! When I first clicked on this video I thought there was an ad running in the background, because I heard a lady talking….

  • WordtoWise March 11, 2013, 6:14 pm

Dennis makes a good point. I freely admit I’m one of those “idiots” that ran out and dropped a bunch of cash on guns recently. I did so because I am worried about what our government will do next and I live in the lovely state of CA. That said, 10 day wait aside, I was appalled at the screening process and how easy it was to get fire arms. I went in with plans to buy a shotgun only.. and I walked out with a 45, an AR15 and a .22. I am following up my purchase with a tactical training class and lots of range time with a buddy of mine. So, Dennis, this “idiot” will try to shoot straight. I think the government should subsidize high quality gun safes for everyone, rather than spinning their wheels trying to ban this and that. I think ALL gun owners should be required to have a working safe in their home that has capacity to store all their guns. Also, some level of training should be required before or after buying a weopon. That’s what I would change.

  • dennis March 11, 2013, 12:43 am

I can tell some of the most intelligent people on earth frequent this site. I am a gun owner too, but, I’m not so much worried about violent criminals besieging my home as I am concerned with the hordes of idiots that are rushing out and buying all these firearms in a fit of hysteria. Now we just keep getting more and more guns in the hands of dimwits. You know the old rule of thumb though, if you arm one moron you have to arm them all or it’s not a fair fight. I am warning you all about one thing, Wayne Lapierre don’t give a damn about any of you, he just represents the gun manufacturers. Now, we can all go out and play with our guns all we want and that’s Ok, but, there is a reality here that nobody can escape and that is the laws of probability. The more guns that go on our streets the more likely we are to get our brains blown out by one. The deadlier they get just increases the odds. The genie is out of the bottle and we can’t put it back. Shoot straight a$$holes.

    • Johnny America March 12, 2013, 4:40 am

Dennis, you may impress yourself with your own brand of hysteria, but as a law enforcement officer with nearly two decades of experience, I will warn the masses that the men and women who have gone out and bought weapons legally are not the folks you need to worry about, it is STILL, always has been and always will be the idiots who choose crime over lawfulness. Pr(AB) = Pr(A)Pr(BjA): Criminals Remain the Only Constant (or fixed variable) in Conditional Probability.

  • so.cal4me March 10, 2013, 6:59 pm

All the people talking trash about daring them to come get their guns, etc. is just a bunch of hot air. When the real thing goes down, don’t tell me what you’re going to do. I know. When the county sheriff knocks on your door with a list of firearm you own and tells you to go get them, what you gonna do? You are going to look at your wife and two small children and you are going to think, is this rifle worth going to prison for for 15 years and leaving my wife alone all that time and she will find another man and divorce you, and your children will grow up without you and be raised by another man. OR will I just give the man the AR-15? Is this rifle worth THAT ? We both know good and well what you’re going to do. Your going to carry out all your firearms in your arms like cord wood and hand them to the nice man with the badge !!! THATS what you’re going to do. Oh yeah, its nice to talk smack and pretend you’re going to fight off the world, but in your heart of hearts, you KNOW I’m right. What you going to do? Try and hold off the entire police force and U.S. military? You think anyone in your entire town is going to come to your assistance? Dream on. The ONLY power we have is in that voting booth, and the drooling liberals of America have already spoken and chosen the anti-gun fascist dictator as president. Gun owners are the modern day dinosaurs, nearly extinct and heading for the tar pits. Lets face it. This country is washed up !

You obviously have no idea what the rugged men and women of the Wild Midwest, the hardcore South, the back country North, the untamed NW, the unforgiving SW and all the other tough territories in this great nation are made of. We are the people who will fight to save this great nation. We do not run down to the mall to shop for luxuries, we don’t have the time. We wake at dawn and work until dusk. We have calloused hands and strong tested bodies that have been pushed to our limits. We are the ones who WILL STAND UP FOR OUR RIGHTS, and another thing, the sheriffs in our back woods counties, won’t be taking our guns, they will be telling Biden and Obama where to stick them.

  • Nelson March 10, 2013, 5:56 pm

Mr. Biden needs to get a life. I would like to see his wife shoot a double barrel shotgun, really!

  • Hovermale March 10, 2013, 3:23 pm

I don’t use my AR-15 for home defense. I use it for absolutely nothing other than shooting at the range. But I use it because I like it. And it’s my right to have it. Why do we make cars that go over 70 MPH? Because we like them. The government just wants to take the first step to control our weapons. They don’t care about ending crime. We tried the “assault weapons” ban. It did nothing. “Assault weapons” were used 2% of the time in gun crimes since 2004. This includes the “illegally owning” of these firearms. They were used in 0.68% of all violent gun crimes since 2004. Stop giving us reasons to get rid of something that doesn’t have an effect on crime. (Your supposed reason for getting rid of them.)

  • Mike March 10, 2013, 9:33 am

Maybe the vice president can’t aim an AR15, but at least one of my daughters could take out an enemy assailant at a pretty respectable distance with one. Think of the gall of these people, first they say that we, their public, are dangerous and untrustworthy with weapons, now this boob is accusing us of incompetency when it comes to using them. You want a demonstration Mr. Vice President? Just get at the front of the line when you come to take our guns.
But make no mistake, DHS isn’t buying a billion rounds of ammo for target practice, they’re buying so that you can’t. Deliberately creating a shortage so the American people can’t stock up.

You’re the nut job! I’ve owned guns all my life (57 years), was a FORMER member of the NRA, and have enjoyed hunting since I was 10. Not once have I feared government takeover of my guns, my life, or my freedom. There has to be rules or else you have chaos. There are a lot of your fellow nuts out there that don’t respect the danger of a firearm or care about safe practices. The number one thing my father (a gun dealer) taught me was safety. He kept loaded guns everywhere in the house without fear of self inflicted harm; or intruders. You’re just being naive to think that gun owners are generally law abiding, because what you’re advocating is not obeying laws but overthrowing the very “government” that has provided for your freedoms. You gun nuts are not dealing in reality! Get a life! PS: That knock at your door is not the ATF, it’s some wacko chick with an AR-15!

  • Mountainmiester March 7, 2013, 4:21 pm

Aside from the pure audacity of that statement, where does he have the right to tell me how to defend my home and family. When the government thinks they can tell us what WE need or don’t need and legislate based on what they feel we don’t need, we are no longer a free society. Aside from where you stand on the gun issue, no one has the right to tell me what I need or moreover, don’t need, that is MY right and MY right alone.

  • dale March 7, 2013, 10:21 am

Who the hell does he think he is,I bet you could not get within 100 yards of his house from all the secret service guarding his wife, with a lot more fire power than a ar-15 I might add. The AR-15 would be like taking a knife to a gun fight, all these evil bastards that want to take your weapons have a truck load of bodyguards to watch over them, Please Mr. Biden pull your head out of the sand and get real.

  • J@ March 7, 2013, 6:47 am

With all due respect, Mr. Biden, you are the quintessential democratic Idiot. I pity the fool who tries to come at my lady… she absolutely can utilize all the functionality of the AR-15 – and though she WILL make the first round count, 30 is not too many because fools congregate… she is equally at home with the double barrel shotgun, semi automatic handgun, revolver, bolt action rifle, sling shot, knife, machete, club, rock, stick, pen, chapstick or whatever ‘assault’ weapon she chooses to kick the a$$ of whatever sorry s.o.b. chooses to end their meager existence in the fantasy realm of attempting to prove she cannot… you have made the fool’s error that the tool is the focus… tsk, tsk, sir… SHE is the weapon and even when she runs out of ammunition, she will club the uninformed Cretan to a bloody pulp with the last ounce of her energy… Ahhhh… true American spirit!! The 2nd amendment does NOT create the right… it simply acknowledges the government may NOT infringe upon it!!

If you think this press release and Joe Bidens words were planned , you are right. Going back and forth with the silly satements made is exactly what is expected and hoped for by staements like these . WHY? To take your eye off the big picture, so lets not play into their political hand and banter with such a seriuos matter. Talk to your friends , your family, your neighbors , or bring it up at the bowling alley, or even the supermarket. The point is, get people on board to put a stop to this trial run at disarming the American people and therefore enacting the worst form of introducing free people to tyranny under the guise of saving lives, instead of finding more cures and or better treatment for the seriously mentally ill. It starts in the home as does all good reasoning and building blocks for a free America. So lets not quiblle over ludicrous statements designed by the govt to further a cause, lets stand up and be heard,.. and make sure,… that the response to the disarming of America and the dismantling of our Constitution , paid for in American blood, is a resounding oath that has been taken by all elected officals and military, to “Uphold , Defend, and Protect The Constituiton of The United States of America!

Unless “Jill” is the size of an Amazon a double barrel blast of 12 ga. will knock her right on her ass (dumb ass? she did marry this bozo…) and leave her with an empty firearm with which to defend herself. Easy for him to determine what others “need” when he and his family walk around with an Uzi equipped security detail paid for by US!

Bulletin, Bozo. I don’t have to “NEED” one, I have only to DESIRE one, and by the grace of God Almighty I am entitled to HAVE one.

Gosh work on getting Americians back to work instead wasting people time and tax payers money you clowns. Work on making education availible and less costly. Bring back big factory jobs and keep nose out other people business. Talking about volent behavior I was in service and now you/the govt start war just to start them. Anyway I can go on and on people do not let them change your Bill of Rights by the amendments. The right to bear arms. They some of the worlds dumbest up in Washington.

I thought Biden had a good point, which is that there are lots of reasonable alternatives to so-called assault weapons in the context of home defense. You don’t need a high capacity magazine to defend your home.

I personally don’t happen to believe that restricting the sale of high capacity magazine rifles would accomplish much good. But….it doesn’t do much good for us to dial down the IQ of the debate either. Let’s mature the conversation, friends. There are intelligent, serious people on all sides of these issues, and we need to look past knee-jerk responses.

The computer technology that they developed can really kill people for nothing..It is very difficult for me to convience everybody with this kind of story. Beleive me, once u are chosen than only u understand better. It is very hard to explain but I make it simple as I can. When they started to control u as if like someone is inside u.
The virus that they developed also can make cancer cells growth very fast and kill cancer patient so much earlier than what they should go..esp people who can challenged their skills…hong kong was being attacked by SARS and H1N1 that was actually due to virus that they developed..They also attacked computer genious especially those who take drugs as part of their habbit..bad habbit but it is unfair for them in this case..
Microsoft people are murderer and hackers…trying to control people through their software technology…they are developing a kind of virus to kill human being spread through the computer screen rays and electric ion and eventually combined with electromagnetic to become very stable in the air to kill people.

    • Hi everybody….Just want to share something about Malaysian ISA with u guys out there..As we all know, ISA acting as preventive measure for any case or situation that can lead to destroy living harmony in our beloved country..Persatuan Peguam Malaysia really fight to terminate use of this act on the basis of freedom of speech or whatever freedom they like to have. Probably they don’t have any.
I urged Malaysian Policemen to pay more attention on Internet culprits as they can do something bad to our country through the software and computer technology. They really can control people’s mind through it and eventually creates a bad image of Malaysian police too.

Please really a shotgun? Close quarters this would do more damage than an AR15 with many having 15-30 rounds now available. So the next crazy that uses a shotgun in a public place we will have an ban on shotguns.

Al Capone.. Long After his death, in 1982 I assisted the grounds keeper to move the marble bird bath in Capones backyard at his Hibiscus Island home in Miami. Under the marble fountain were two Thompson sub machine guns. Rusted and complete minus the wooden stocks that had rotted. Criminals will always have guns. Capone died there at this residence.

My god what an idiot! My grandma and my 10 year old niece can aim and fire both shotguns and AR’s.
We prefer an AR though, especially when we have to deal with multiple intruders.

A liberal will remain a liberal until he is robbed or assaulted, but this guy and his lib elite buddies all live behind iron gate’s with 24/7 armed security…some of us can’t afford that option, so we stick to our guns…literally.

I served the USA for six years as a war vet. I also upheld and protected our constitution. During my service in the military I walked the streets of Washinton armed with a loaded M-14 in 1968 during riots. DO not think the the military will not be used in the streets as it already has in the past. I say that those that DO NOT LIKE the constitution TO GET THE Hell out of this country.. My rights to carry an M-14 should not be infringed today to protect myself.

Going back to Angies comments on the 21st which, no doubt she spent alot of time researching and we all know is true. There has been several comments we would like to see come true with logical thinking from State to Federal government level. Have you ever personally been in a situtation when you just ask yourself, what in the hell am I going to do now? Thats where the U.S. stands now. Thats why nothing is going to change in government at least something that is logical. If you have a house payment and you dont pay that bill, the bank will take it over and you are out on the streets. Who owns our deficit? Who will get evicted if we default. No one! But China may get pissed and that is how wars start. Japans last Emporer at the end of World War II stated, “We lost the first phase of war, but we will defeat you in development, technology and education”. He doesnt seem too dumb now. During the early years of the cold war, a senior Chinese General stated, to win a total war with America you would have too invade and that would be suicide since everyone owns a gun. Was China contemplating a war with the U.S.? The war we are fighting now that is more important that any in the history of our country. We are fighting the war of survival and a future Democracy. I have fought for our constitution on foreign soil. I understand the concept. I call it a concept since if it were unchangable, then why have we been able to amend it? We have ammended to obtain votes. Make no mistake about it, some bills and laws that have been passed, you know members of the house and senate have went home that night or to their girlfriends house and pucked their guts outs and couldnt scrub the filth off with ajax. If they think two men need to be married, they missed science, anatomy or sex ed in highschool. If you are a believer in god or not that still aint right. i got some stamps from the post office a couple of months ago. They had a word on each stamp. Freedom, Liberty, and Equality. I threw the ones away that said Equality. Fact! It had to be a misprint. I was watching Conan Obryan a couple months ago and he brought up a comment that was in some vote getter article. By the year 2043 the white man will be the minority in the U.S. The audience applauded. ( I dont watch him or buy his sponsors products anymore) I found his sponsors on line. What have i done? I have never owned a person in my life. I fought in Afghanistan because Bin Laden funded the murder of over 3000 U.S. citizens and he happened to be in Afghanistan hiding. The idiot took credit. If he was hiding out in California, i would have went to California. Wait, oh California is still legally in the U.S. right now. But anyway, those are the only people i have oppressed, or is that suppressed with accurate fire techniques. I just dont get it. Why in gods name would we not want illegals sneaking into our country. They have pretty tattoos saying, MS-13? I bet those arent here legally, would you? And i know they will pay taxes on their hard earned cash so it helps pay back the money used to pay for 9 out of 10 latino births in the U.S. Paid for legally on a tax return i file every April. Yeah, yeah i know there is some legit cases. A girl that lives down the street from me has 5 children. She cant work because she has been pregnant most or all of her adult life. But good news, she just got a pay raise in december, baby number 5. Speaking of the year 2043 again. Average now is 1 out of every 6 births in the U.S. are wwhite, caucasian or otherwhatever i am today. Statistics show, 4.7 of those babies which is 94 percent. The other baby, is at 18 percent paid by taxpayers. Lets cut out the bull. If we belive in equality, then why do we ask race on every government form ever made. Bottom line it does matter on a whole lot of areas we a know about. Yes, i may be venting but the magical reason Joe Biden was even on the presidential ticket, he needed white votes. Biden will be the likeable stooge because his 8 years have guaranteed him with a good retirement. Besides, he is going to insure his party picks up the votes of all of the people wronged by guns in the U.S. whether constitutional or not. Keep paying for illegals to have babies since they dont have to have a U.S. backed picture i.d. to vote. Why doses 95 percent of a race vote for one man, is that because he is that much better? 78 percent of single mothers voted for Obama. I bet its because they researched his past record of handling and managing this country, dont you? I know it wasnt because he reassured them of keeping their entitlements. I hate that forked tongue word. I call it passification handouts to buy votes. Speaking of buying votes, how do you feel about someone using federal taxpayer dollars that we should be using for education (rank 17 in the world) to buy votes. Ask GM, Chrysler and Fannie Mae to name a few. It worked for the election. Look at our debt now. The bottom line, gun control is the flavor of the day. Some people would send their mother to a whorehouse to get their party some votes. My advice, you better act like a squirrel trying to get a nut a take care of yourself. Its going to get worse. Yes, I stayed on subject since it is all tied together. One fact, do the math. Legal gunowners who do not commit crimes, that work and pay taxes legally, that have children attending school past age 16, that are married and dont qualify for any government financial break based on skin color, and believe in god, we are so few in number our vote dont count. If you are single, divorced but work and do whats right yours dont count either. Not enough of you. It doesn;t matter what skin color etc. Your vote cannot be bought through political tactics, or sales pitch plus on election day your probably to damn tired to vote because you are doing everything right. Good luck holding on to our socialist values, next step communism. God help us all. Am i still allowed to say that???????

It’s interesting that you brought up Stalin. It’s interesting because there is a similar situation going on in the world right now. North Korea is a horrifying place and many people are dying of starvation. No living human, animal, or any form of life should EVER feel that in order to survive they must eat their own children. And yes, that has recently happened unfortunately.

I have a much different outlook on life now that I’ve looked outside the box. However what’s going on inside the box is truly a sad situation….

  • Will G. February 27, 2013, 8:22 pm

Mr Biden wants each of us, who wants a long gun for defensive purposes to buy a shotgun. He believes no one should have a 30 round capacity in their weapon. Does he realize that each three inch, “00 Buckshot” shell will fire 15 .33 caliber pellets, each having a mass almost equal to the mass of a .223 rifle bullet. So with a shotgun 2 trigger pulls release 30 projectiles, and the AR 15 still needs 30 trigger pulls. If one were to select 3 inch #4 Buckshot, one would discharge 41 .24 caliber pellets each time the trigger was pulled. In an AR 15 that would require 30 trigger pulls, a reload, and another 11 trigger squeezes. There are other far more lethal shells available for the standard shotgun.

The main difference in lethality between a shotgun and an AR 15, is range. In the hands of a novice, the shotgun is probably more lethal than an AR out to 50 yards. In the hands of an experienced or trained individual the AR 15 has a 400 yard range, and the shotgun is still only a 75 yard weapon. (It will be lethal well beyond this range, but not reliably accurate.)

Why does Mr. Biden want to restrict us to 75 yards. (His argument is certainly not about projectile count. As a matter of simple arithmetic, A shotgun with 5 three inch #4 Buckshot shells will throw 205 .24 caliber pellets downrange in 5 trigger pulls). As far as “Assault weapons”, the Ithica model 37 (A 12 Gauge pump shotgun), was issued 70,000 times to Soldiers and Marines for taking “point” in the jungles of Vietnam. Does that make it an acceptable assault weapon for civilian use because of its limited range?

From the top to the bottom they need to fired or jailed. I wish we could impeach all of them for beings idiots, but we can’t. We will simply have to vote them out and hope we can survive the occupation by this administration.

  • Brady February 25, 2013, 6:08 pm

I ran across this quote from John Henry, one of our founding fathers.i think it sums up things pretty good! In a state of tranquillity, wealth, and luxury, our descendants would forget the arts of war* and the noble activity and zeal which made their ancestors invincible. Every art of corruption would be employed to loosen the bond of union which renders our resistance formidable. When the spirit of liberty, which now animates our hearts and gives success to our arms*, is extinct, our numbers will accelerate our ruin and render us easier victims to tyranny. If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom—go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen. John Henry

  • MrBill February 25, 2013, 9:06 am

I bet O’bama cringes ever time O’Biden opens his mouth. It’s one thing to put forth a ration of nonsensical garbage about how evil AR’s are, but it’s quite another to tell your wife to grab a double barrel shotgun and go out on the balcony and discharge both barrels!

A: Your gun is now unloaded and worthless except as a club unless your PJ’s have more shells in them.
B: The Secret Service Agents would probably go into full response mode shooting her,(unless that is what you wanted)
    and finally…
C: It’s probably freaking ILLEGAL you MORON! You just can’t go out side and discharge your weapons! Every jurisdiction I have ever lived in has LAWS (you do know what THOSE are don’t you Mr O’Biden, don’t you??!!) against discharging firearms within X amount of feet of houses! X varies by location, but you get the idea, don’t you??!! Perhaps your Estate in Delaware has enough acreage you don’t have to worry about LAWS, but the rest of the country DOES!

I enjoy shooting, period. I have no intention of ever using my firearms in an illegal manner, ever… However, if someone is breaking into my property and threatening my family, I will use whatever force and caliber I require to protect them. If someone breaks into our house in the middle of the night, they will hear the distinctive ChuaaaCHUNK of a PUMP action 12 gauge shotgun. If they are not running for the hills like Road Runner, they deserve what they get.

If, God forbid, a foreign power ever invades our Country, do you expect us to protect OUR country with bird shot and a double barrel shotgun, or would you rather us have our AR’s?

Please understand Mr O’Biden, the average American citizen doesn’t have 10 Secret Service Agents guarding my property 24-7. I don’t have Secret Service Agents driving me around in an armored LIMO armed to the teeth.

So in short, Mr Vice Moron, leave us law abiding citizens ALONE, and hey, here’s an idea, try enforcing the existing gun laws for a change! You know, the ones you have told Federal Agents to ignore….

Here’s a Question for you Mr Moron! How many guns have law abiding FFL holders sold to the Mexican Drug cartels, and how many has YOUR Administration sold? Hmmmm???
    Idiot!

  • R. February 25, 2013, 4:59 am

I’ve been thinking lately about getting a CCW. Then I thought, why spend all of that money when our 2nd amendment guarantees our right to own, carry or what ever. The 2nd amendment is my right to carry ! Plus, Biden or Barry or whatever the hell his name is don’t know their ass from page 6. Have a great day all.

    • Mike March 10, 2013, 9:43 am

But if you carry without the ccw, you are offering yourself as the sacrificial lamb. You get arrested, you get fined, you possibly go to prison. Your assumptions are absolutely correct, but you might as well be a Jew asserting his rights in Germany in 1942. Protect yourself, there are better ways to fight the battle, at least for now.

  • Millwright Mark February 25, 2013, 12:41 am

I totally agree with your article. In fact the only problem that I can find with it is that it isn’t published in a magazine where the easily jaded and uneducated can learn from it’s perspective. Most of the people that have jumped on the anti-gun bandwagon are people that won’t in their minds be effected in a negative way by this type of legislation. Most of them have never fired a gun, and don’t own a gun. They see them kill people in movies, and hear about violence on the news. They cannot see them for what they are and that is a tool. They need to be educated! I grew up in rural Missouri and have been shooting guns my entire life. I enjoy sport shooting and hunting very much. I love the AR-15 because of how versatile it is. I can easily collapse the stock so my wife can shoot it comfortably. There are many things available to Americans that they “don’t need” do I “need” a 600horsepower Cobra Mustang no. I am not a racecar driver but I can buy one if I can afford it because I am free. In my opinion a ban on a type of firearm based on looks is just a ridiculous. Maybe they should solve it like everything else and come up with an antigun violence pill!

  • Ronald. Davis February 24, 2013, 10:17 pm

The one big reason we have young men who know how to shoot. Because their dads and grandfathers. Check with the special forces ever class from rangers to target range trainers. I went to war for the contusion and the way of life we have . Years later I found out the whole thing was bullshit to prove a point. Now your president and they UN wants to change the second ammendt . He’ll I am going to find out how much of my tax dollars to that. Loser group. Look back in history remember probation that was a lot of fun. The govt white washes every time they screw up. He’ll I should be able to have the FBI and the CI A. As a resident of Florida “The Sunshine state”, we were one of the first states to issue CCW permits, Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Ground laws, many years ago. The Commie Leftist, Liberals STILL like to call our state “The GUNSHINE state.” Even though our violent crime rates have PLUMMETED since and we have NOT turned into Dodge City as they said we would. The FACTS PROVE that whenever gun ownership INCREASES amongst law-abiding citizens crime rates go down and where gun ownership is lessened crime INCREASES. The problem is that the Commie, Leftist, Liberals don’t work with FACTS. They work on emotions and LIES….

  • bill February 22, 2013, 9:15 pm

Note: Most ALL elected officials are cowards, that is why they need armed security 24/7, if it was up to them to provide protection for themselves or their family, most would perish in short order. But by the same token, they do not want to feel afraid that the public may be better armed than them or those who are paid ,by us, to protect these fools. History tells this story time and again, the only things that change, are the players. It’s too bad that there are so many SHEEPLE, that will do their bidding , and leave the rest of us to fend for ourselves. So that’s what we better do , is fend for ourselves, because if we don’t, then we are sure to go the same way as the Herd.

  • SIXXGUNN February 22, 2013, 8:50 pm

So Mr. VP your advice is to Illegally discharge a weapon with the hope an empty gun intimidates? Is the Obama admin. planning to phase out the M4 for active duty troops in favor of DB shotguns since you can’t hit anything with a rifle? Are you that moronic or are you making political hay out of the tragedy that is Sandy Hook by going after the “low-hanging fruit?”

  • Robert February 22, 2013, 8:39 pm

All I see on this site is a bunch of people who think that the government wants to take away their guns and a bunch of Obama haters. Let me remind Mary and the other people who have commented on Eric Holder and Fast and Furious that program was begun under the former President Bush’s Administration. It was not President Clinton’s fault that 9/11 happened he went after Bin Laden after the bombing of US Embassies in Africa and again after the USS Cole. It was again George Bush who sat on warnings of an immenent threat that were on his desk in the Oval Office on 9/11, and then he went to war with Iraq, who had nothing to do with 9/11, to finish what his father fell short on. No one wants to take guns away from law abiding citizens. What should happen is make the penalties so massive and enforce those penalties on people who use firearms in the commision of a crime that they would think really hard about doing it. That being said it would still not prevent people like the shooters at Columbine and Sandy Hook who killed themselves. So it has to be a combination of enforcing laws, mental health care, and some restrictions on high capacity fire power.

    • JiMtheVeT February 22, 2013, 10:54 pm

Hey Robert I don’t think any of these ‘patriots’ will be able to understand a word you wrote. I wonder how many of them have served in the military or performed any public service. Some of these posts are just frightening ramblings of misinformed cretins. I haven’t seen any changes in our local gun ownership laws. In fact I think the gun industry has used the Obama administration as a red herring so to speak in order to scare these folks into thinking ‘the government’ (last I heard that was all of us) will be taking away our guns. I’m also humored by the small minded who think they can overthrow the government with small arms. In the military I worked on a ship board weapon system. There isn’t a gun that you or I can buy that can even come close to competing with the kind of fire power the military can bring to bear on these hapless half wits.

I’m not convinced that most Americans are naive enough to believe they can overthrow the federal gvt. Grass roots “militia” groups lack the homogeneity and organization, etc. However the Second Amendment was written in that context- Every one of the rights protected (not granted- they are inherent to the individual) by the Bill of Rights is directly relate to the late Colonial experience of the Founding Fathers & there is a direct line between the battles of Lexington & Concord & the 2nd Amendment. The FF understood that the first step in subjugating a populace is to disarm it. It was meant as a last line of defense against a tyrannical government, be it foreign or domestic. I don’t believe the Obama Admin. is tyrannical by any means- but I do believe their proposals lead us down a slippery slope. I think they offer a false sense of security rather than true security- which may be much more dangerous.

My son served with the 101st in Afghanistan. The Afghanis who are not with us seem to inflict many casualties on us in spite of our superior weapons. Many of them fought the Russians to failure with inferior weapons but superior vision and conviction.

I pray we never find out if Americans Defending the constitution have the advantage of conviction, and are able to defeat well armed forces intent on overthrowing Our Constitution.

Then again, I believe many officers, NCO’s, and enlisted folk will remember the oath they swore: “…preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, Foreign and Domestic…” and will point the heavy weapons they were entrusted with by the people of these United States in the correct direction.

Thank you. I’d begun to despair at the mass of illogical vitriol and thinly veiled racism permeating these responses; finding your remarks, and those who replied in support of them, has made me feel much better. It’s damn lonely being a progressive with libertarian leanings, by which I mean that I’m fond of ALL of the amendments in the Bill of Rights, as opposed to those on both ends of the political spectrum who like to cherrypick those that suit their ideology, and ignore the rest. I realize that the sort of emotional venting that people on this page are indulging in can be cathartic for them, but they don’t seem to realize that this sort of crazed ranting simply frightens and further alienates the relatively uncommitted mass of citizens in the middle that are, by far, the majority in this country, and whose support we badly need to garner if we want to protect our 2nd Amendment rights. Not ever citizen who owns a gun is an ardent advocate on this issue, any more than every one who is legally entitled to vote cares enough to exercise that franchise. I’d estimate that those with strong, consistent feelings about the gun issue probably total no more than 40 % of the electorate, with maybe a very rough 22 to 18 split in our favor. The great mass of Americans fall in the middle, ranging from those with some vague preferences in the matter but no real commitment to those who know nothing and care even less about the subject. And the people who ARE committed to eventual gun confiscation are, by and large, much better at manipulating public opinion than those on our side; I cringe every time that Ted Nugent steps in front of a microphone, because with every word he simply reinforces the mainstream image of gun enthusiasts as ignorant, violent and dangerous people that no one in their right mind could take seriously. And sadly, most of the people commenting here are no better; I’m a gun enthusiast myself, and most of their remarks frighten and appall me to the point that it’s quite embarrassing to publicly acknowledge that we’re on the same side of ANY issue…

The bill of rights isn’t part of a political spectrum. They are all God given rights that almost were left out of the main body of the Constitution because they were self evident… to the founding fathers. To today’s politicians they are inconveniences to poke holes in so they can control the masses.

VP Biden lives in a house that is protected 24/7 by the Secret Service with semi-auto pistols and full auto M16’s. I went out and looked there were no guards protecting my family 24/7. Yet this man has the nerve to tell me what i need to protect my family. How about this Mr. VP you for go all secret service protection/armored and move out of that fortress you live in maybe a less protected neighborhood in D.C. I am sure we can find one where you test your theory about a shotgun and fire two shots outside idea.

Did you notice that the people like congressman, move stars, the president/VP and people like Jarrett that want to limit/take guns from the rest of us all have armed guards? These same people are such experts that they want to tell the rest of us what we need to protect our families. Lets see all these people give up their 24/7-armed protection before they tell the rest of us what we need. UN-armed protection should be enough. They could call 911 and wait of the cops like they want the rest of us to do.

Hmm, maybe he knows their mentality personally.

My (10) reasons why what Biden is ‘instructing’ (I say instructing as he is speaking as the VP of the United States of America, clearly a position of power and authority, and representing the President of the United States and therefore all of us……….) the women in America to do is illegal, dangerous, foolhardy and why he should be ‘muzzled’ before someone gets seriously hurt following his ill-conceived and uneducated instructions!
    1. A double-barreled 12 gauge shotgun can, as its name indicates only hold two shells.
    a. Leaving the user at a serious disadvantage if:
    i. There are multiple attackers/threats.
ii. They are not regularly practicing with said firearm and therefore may need more than one shot to hit/stop their attacker(s).
iii. They have a faulty shell and or misfire.
iv. Any reason more than two shots are needed.
    2. A double-barreled shotgun generally has more felt recoil/kick that a semi-automatic shotgun rendering it more difficult to shot and even harder to get ‘back on target’ for the second shot, if needed.
    3. A double-barreled shotgun, to be readily prepared for home defense would require that it be fully loaded and ready to fire or manually loaded in short order (not so easy in a time of crisis/stress).
    4. A 12 gauge shotgun can be very difficult for the novice and or smaller person to handle as it has some of the strongest felt recoil/kick of virtually any defensive firearm.
    5. To step out of the home when you believe you are threatened by attackers would require that un-lock an entry to your home, further exposing yourself, and anyone else in your home, to greater danger.
    a. Also, increasing the likelihood that you might have to actually use the firearm to injure/kill another.
    6. Stepping outside to possibly meet/engage your attackers would likely eliminate any ‘I feared for my life defense’ as you ‘exposed’ yourself to the danger, and could now be portrayed as the aggressor.
    7. “Fire two blasts outside the house” as the, I’m ashamed to admit, my VP instructed his wife and every wife, mother, woman, etc, in the country to do, would be illegal in any populated area such as where most people reside, and would/could endanger other family members, neighbors, some kid that is just cutting through the yard on the way home, well……..I could never address all of the reasons that this is some of the most ridiculous guidance I have ever heard.
    8. Now, if the threat(s) recognizes or has prior knowledge of the fact that you have a double-barreled shotgun and have just fired two “blasts” he doesn’t need to be the criminal in a Dirty Harry movie to know that two have been fired and you are now, in the VP’s scenario outside of your home, with nothing but an empty shotgun (now, a club at best).
    9. The fact that he Promises” that this will repel attackers is just another example of his disregard for the safety of those who just might follow his instructions and further demonstrates that he does not have enough knowledge and or done sufficient research to be speaking on this matter, especially as the VP of the country!
    10. He further states that the AR is “harder to aim and harder to use” though it is it’s very simplicity that makes it so attractive to our military, police, sport shooters and civilians for personal defense( especially women, his intended audience)……again emphasizing my comment above that this further demonstrates that he does not have enough knowledge and or done sufficient research to be speaking on this matter, let alone authoring/managing the creation of any laws associated with firearms!

Just one very dis-heartened American’s humble opinion!

This is for all ya’ll that think we’ll just have Uncle Joe for four more years. Be careful what you wish for. Say something happens to Obama (he becomes incapacitated, dies in office or is impeached and thrown out of office to name a few) then Uncle Joe becomes Mr. President. Say it happens tomorrow and we have him for nearly four years. Then he is re-elected to two more terms and we have him for nearly twelve years total (I hope to Hell that never happens); however, it is highly unlikely but by some weird twist of fate it could happen. Remember O’s first two years and who was third in line for the driver’s seat (hint: Aunt Nancy). That would’ve been a real f—ing deal now wouldn’t it? As for Uncle Joe Stalin’s purges, “You kill one person, it’s a tragedy. You kill fifty million, it’s a statistic.” Stalin sure knew how to put things into perspective from his point of view. I personally would rather use a high capacity twelve gauge shotgun (not taking away from a person’s right to use an AR or AK or whatever they would want to use) with OO buckshot since one round will put either nine or eleven projectiles (I think) into the air depending on the length of the shell and my aim just needs to be in close proximity instead of dead on. On the Sandyhook matter I find it very peculiar that there were no wounded there and all the other mass shootings had roughly twice as many wounded as there were fatalities. We need to question the U. S. Government more on a lot of things. As far as Air Force One goes, strap Obama to the inside of a C-130 fuselage since they use one or more of the big transports to haul his entourage vehicles around and if he is worried about his comfort let him sit in his Cadillac Escalade (it has A/C, heat, seatbelts/airbags and comfortable seats to name a few amenities). This would be used for overseas trips; here in the States, Mexico or Canada he could use a G-4 or G-5 Grumman or strap his ass in a F-18 (the three combined do not use near as much kerosene as a 747 and they can land nearly anywhere whereas a 747 cannot). I’m just giving a few of my opinions.

    Thank you

I really blame the NRA for all this gun confusion, had they never and i mean never brought their campaign many years ago stating guns in conjunction with personal defense and the second amendment in the same sentence. the second amendment has nothing to do with home defense, its all about defense, suppression, against “tyranny”; the home defense angle is simply nothing more than an ancillary. when i called the NRA and ask why they spend money in any other state but california since ALL gun issues emanate from california…. they laughed!

THE NRA IS LIKE GOODWILL, A PRIVATE BUSINESS
i’m afraid it’s time we start a non profit that really fights this crap with impunity!
i love how politicians all refer to the second amendment when mentioning our founding fathers never meant for us to have powerful guns. is it just me or am i reading and read a different bill of rights? there is no mention of the size and power of weapons; i a short while were about to find out the reason for this. we were never to be out gunned by our government

  • Micheal February 22, 2013, 8:12 am

Really? Look at what guns gangsters and common criminals have, and they want to lower us to having only handguns and shotguns. Imagine if a foreign country managed to invade the US, we currently have the best militia in the world because of our right to own “assault weapons”. One reason the 2nd amendment was originally made was so that the people would have the ability to defend themselves against a tyrannical government, and have the right to have weapons equal to that of the military. Could we defend ourselves against a tyrannical government (and it is becoming increasingly tyrannical) with pistols and shotguns? No. Look at Virginia Tech Massacre, he used a .22 and a 9mm handgun. It was the deadliest massacre in US history. Did he use an “assault weapon”? No.

Of course, with how gun owners who have “assault weapons” are trying to sell them, trying to rip people off by selling their weapons for 3, 4, 5x their worth, I feel those people don’t deserve guns. Trying to take advantage of their fellow gun owners so boldy and lowly. It makes me sick.

  • Bob February 22, 2013, 12:09 am

If a 12 ga. double barrel shotgun is good for home defense then a 5 shot, pump action “quail gun” is even better. Ask anyone who owns a gun store what sound bad guys fear the most and they’ll say the sound of a pump action shotgun being cycled. Nothing says “cease and desist” more clearly than that sound, which is unmistakable.

What the Vice President said about shotguns, while nice, is off target. You should be very hesitant to walk outside and fire a couple of warning shots with a two shot weapon. Maybe you can safely do that in a rural areas, like where Biden lives, but it’s not a great idea if you live in urban or suburban areas. Aside from neighbors, it may well be illegal to discharge any weapon. Also, your double barrel shotgun will be empty. The bad guy may figure that out when the shooting stops. And even worse, your muzzle flash is going to tell the bad guy, who usually is better armed than you, where to return fire. So please don’t follow Mr. Biden’s well meaning advice. Doesn’t standing in the dark and pumping your quail gun in very noisy way make a lot more sense? Here’s why.

A quail gun give you maximum deterrence and firepower. If you need to shoot, you can get off five shots in about 10 seconds. And with practice you can reload a pump action at least two or three times in a minute. You just shove five more shells into the gun’s very accessible loading port. Pump away and fire five more times, reload, pump away some more and fire five more times, etc.

The administration wants to ban rifles that do this and that and can shoot so many rounds in so many seconds if you have large capacity magazines. Sounds like a quil gun is a fair match for an assault weapon. Will Mr. Biden, when he thinks things through ( not his strong suit) back away from suggesting to Americans that they buy a gun capable of pumping out, in less than a minute, several hundred lead balls that can be lethal up to 50-60 yards out? And if targets are close it’s a lot more lethal. If the barrel gets shortened by some bad guy it doesn’t get more lethal than that.

Talking about shotguns, regardless of how lethal, does not elicit the same emotional resonse as talking about military stype assault rifles. Quail guns are normal, ordinary, commonplace guns that millions of Americans have owned for years. Gun control advocates ask about assault weapons in polls for obvious reasons. Try explaning to Americans why they can’t buy quail guns any more or can’t keep pump action shotguns that have been in the family for generations. I’ll bet you get very different poll results.
Take on lethal weapons, if you take on anything. See if the American people agree.

  • Alex739 February 21, 2013, 11:52 pm

My email to president Obama on Joe Biden for all to read (and to cover my own ass!!!)

    “Dear President Obama,
Although I don’t totally agree with your position on the current Assault weapons ban, & High capacity magazine issues, I had to reply to a video Vice President Biden has on the W.H. webpage. Here he is advising a woman to buy a double barrel shotgun for protection. In part this is a sound idea & would be justified for home defense. However his directions after this point are extremely disturbing.
But first, I need to clarify The AR-15 is a “COPY” of a military M16 or M4 but a REAL M16 or M4 is a class III weapon, unavailable to average civilians. The military version was at one time a fully automatic weapon during the vietnam era, but now it can only fire a 3 round burst. The AR-15 cannot do this without serious modifications.

But getting back to Vice Pres. Biden’s statements made on video for the entire country to view is in my opinion “insane”. First he says to this woman, as he would his own wife, to go out on the back porch or deck and then discharge both barrels in to the darkness. I have to say this is not only very dangerous not knowing what you would be shooting at. Second firing in to the air with any weapon is a Felony is some states. Third, in most locations it is against the law to discharge any weapon inside a residential area in almost all states. So point of fact he is telling this women who asked a question on how to defend herself, from Family Circle magazine to break both Federal & state laws intentionally! His wife might get away with this (she is the Vice pres’s spouse) but the average person would go to jail on this advice. So I do have to offer something to seriously consider.

Let’s say she blasted both barrels in to the night not knowing that her son or daughter got out of the house and went to a friend’s without telling her. He or she tried to quietly get back home and inside but knocked over a garbage can making a huge noise. This woman comes out & blindly fires her 12ga shotgun into the darkness. In the morning the child is not in the house and she calls to them to no avail. She opens the back door to find her child DEAD on the lawn from the two shotgun blasts fired into the darkness! PLEASE tell me he does not own any guns? It’s obvious he has never had any gun safety training or he would never have suggested this! He’s the V.P. but also a lawyer. Could this be a legal defense for her ignorance at his advice? Please enforce the gun laws we have now, not make more of them to hurt law abiding citizens.
    Most Respectfully,
    Alex739

http://www.topdocumentaryfilms.com/innocents-betrayed/ is a link to an important documentary film entitled INNOCENTS BETRAYED. It documents the taking of guns as the consistent precedent leading to all genocides which occurred in formally civilized societies corrupted by totalitarian governments.

At the end of the film after the credits play out (you can fast forward to skip them) there are two significant interviews: the first with an attorney regarding 2nd amendment rights and the second with the film’s producer.

Very informative and thought provoking in light of increased efforts to restrict right to bear arms. 60 mins.

  • Richard Stewart February 21, 2013, 9:23 pm

I know I’m gonna get flamed for this ’cause it’s not in (as the blogger says) lock step with the board here, but oh, well, here it is.
I have no sympathy for stupidity on either side, and Joe Biden was just plain stupid advocating a double barrel over a nice self-loader or pump action.
To me all he’s doing is reinforcing the lesson that gun safety and firearm handling education is fundamentally lacking in today’s America. I was introduced to shooting by Dad with my grandfather’s .22 (now an antique – Winchester’s first autoloader) and our High School had a smallbore range in the basement where I was president of the Rifle Club. In those days the NRA was mostly about marksmanship training and firearm safety, with the American Rifleman acting as a sort of Consumer Reports to do instrumented testing of new models and warn us of shoddy products.
As for secret service protection, I’m damn glad our President and Vice President have it, and I do not begrudge one cent spent on these fine law enforcement officers.
Although I am as pissed as the next person at the job our Congress isn’t doing, like most of us it’s because the people on the other side of the aisle don’t do what I want them to do. I’m tired of people demonizing the job though. If this were the kind of government some of us accuse them of being we wouldn’t have them at all – the Overlord would decree everything and we’d have no say. We do. If you don’t like what your Congressmen or Congresswomen are doing, vote them out. If you can’t do that, then suck it up and admit you’re not in tune with the majority – or come up with a more convincing argument.
As for that politician from Seattle who wants to have Brown Shirted thugs visit every gun owner’s home, show me a link. This is pure scare tactics and it’s beneath us.
And well-funded fools? I’d include Wayne in that category. He’s doing a great job of making us all look like mindless cretins like himself.
You’re probably right that they won’t be able to pass anything. It’s also true that if they’d enforce the laws we already have it would go a long way toward keeping tragedies like Sandy Hook from happening. But so long as someone with an evil agenda can obtain a gun without the event registering somewhere, criminals will get guns, so more comprehensive background checks and licensing of sales venues is sensible. We just look like mules objecting to it.
There are an awful lot of self-appointed constitutional lawyers here, and while I shouldn’t claim any expertise, I can read. The 2nd amendment includes the words “well-regulated” and anyone who sees the free-for-all attitude toward firearm ownership advocated by some in the U. S. and calls it “well-regulated” has no sense.
Furthermore I don’t know what makes the AR15 so sacred. I spent part of a damn cold winter (-93 wind chill on the range) as a shavetail testing ammunition for the AR16 equivalent at the Arctic Test Center and the damn thing wasn’t special in any way. Is it because the M-14 I fired as a member of the Army ROTC High Power Rifle Team has a wood stock like a proper sporting rifle that it’s looked down on? My 1903A3 Springfield was more accurate than an AR15 and the bullets could do more damage. Me, I’d rather have a Remington 750 in 30-06 or 308.
There is not now nor is there ever likely to be a law that forbids “arming the victims” so making that a political issue in elections is a waste of breath and money. It’s this kind of paranoia that makes “mommies” think we’re all stupid.
If you want to address the shipping of jobs overseas then you most certainly don’t want Obama’s opponents in office. Talk about voting against your own self-interest! Ditto inner-city violence.
How is voluntary surrendering a firearm “being removed from their 2nd Amendment rights?” You only make us look like idiots by making such silly statements.
And stop doing the paranoid bit. This is a democracy, not a dictatorship. Your sons and daughters in law enforcement and the United States armed services will take down with properly righteous wrath any person or organization that seeks to overthrow it by armed force. Did you learn nothing from the sad example of Michael Dorner?

    • Administrator February 21, 2013, 9:32 pm

The story is linked in the article you moron. Why do self righteous fidiots always end up in our comments?

      • Richard Stewart February 24, 2013, 2:30 pm

Well, I expected to get flamed.
But like I said, it’s pure scare tactics. Did you read the article? Even liberals called that provision stupid. When you bring up weak-ass arguments like that, it’s you who look like a moron.
There are plenty of good reasons to make every legitimate effort to quell the anti-gun hysteria, not the least of which is that hysteria of all kinds on both sides is about to destroy the economy by making it impossible for people to talk to each other like adults.
But we need those “mommies” to listen to those good reasons, and poisoning the atmosphere with “straw man” arguments – threatening people with a bad idea no one believes in – does not help our cause.
        Self-righteous? Look in the mirror.

        • Administrator February 24, 2013, 4:42 pm

You didn’t get flamed. You’re an idiot. They called it stupid because they knew it couldn’t pass, but as we noted, was the direction that they would like to go in. People like you are the problem. You just can’t see the forest through the trees.

  • Jeff S. February 21, 2013, 8:38 pm

Would she be expected to urinate and vomit all over herself before or after blindly unloading both barrels out the back door?

  • Sam February 21, 2013, 8:09 pm

The view and opinions on here are interesting. I do believe that we should have harsher penalties for criminals. That’s a start. As a gun owner and someone who visits the range on a regular basis, I find it funny and quite sad when I hear people who want a gun for protection but have never fired one, or don’t ever fire one , get training or practice after receiving one. While I lived in France, we had to have a monthly range membership and prove proficiency to keep on owning. That that’s a bit harsh, but I do feel that we need to make sure those who shouldn’t have guns don’t get them and ensure that those who are know what they are doing. I have no qualms about requiring a class or training similar to what’s done for some state conceal permits. That ensures people know it’s not a toy and that if it’s truly for protection that you seriously thing about training. How many out there will be able to grab their gun and actually be prepared to fire in a stressful situation. How many out there practice proper safety.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that the majority of gun owners aren’t responsible. I’m just stating that there are those who aren’t and some preventive measures (like the mother who left her guns out and allowed her mentally unstable son to have access so he could go on a shooting rampage) would help.

As for limiting access to incorrectly labeled “assault rifles”, I’m against that. I also don’t believe that those who have high capacity rounds have the intention of killing the masses. What I feel each of these political fools needs to do is visit a range, pay some money and see how much time they are actually spending on reloading magazines vs. practicing and honing their skills. Range time can be expensive and the more high capacity rounds you have the less time you spend loading and the more time on the line.

it would be funny to hear that Mrs. VP stuck a double barreled shotgun out a door or window and touched off both rounds and then she gets arrested for a negligent discharge of a firearm just because she “heard something!”, granted he did say they live in a wooded area so if it did happen it would probably be a non-event but this idiot apparently doesn’t realize that not everyone lives in such an area, bet his a$$ would never come to Flint MI just for a stroll downtown at night without a crew.

So don’t be fooled by the propaganda and stand for what your believe in .. Weather you want to or not own a firearm.. the precedence is you have the option either way .. but if the government makes the option for you.. you wont be able to have that option. They say that the Honest American Citizen has nothing to fear by these new laws that are coming down the pipe at us . think hard about this now .. WE HAVE Everything to Fear,, already the Criminal Element doesn’t operate in our Laws and Regulations: after all that is what makes them Criminals. one other key not here if you think this is a joke its not i am surprised that Hollywood and others haven’t noticed this but in the plan that White House is trying to push they talk about regulation the violence in movies and video games well there is another Amendment being back doored here its the 1st Amendment surprised the ones that create the marter aren’t commenting on this. That would be our National Press .. any how once they are gone they will not be back one way to crush the masses you take away there means to fight and the will too, will soon follow .. so don’t thing that the only Amendment that is under attack is the 2nd, they are trying to get a foot hold also on the 1st.. and not to mention the 6th, 7th and 8th that we all heard about in the News lately with Drone Attacks on US Citizen and all the BS along with that .. and not to mention under Bush the Dept of Home Land Security implemented a new law that was passed both by Congress and the Senate. is to Classify any American Citizen as a Threat to the United States .. so theres a bigger picture here being drawn so weather your for or against doesn’t make a difference if you are an American you better do your part and stand up and be heard and recognised other wise when you go to DC you wont see a Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United Stated instead where it once stood you will see a picture of all of those that stole those rites from us with there big shit eating grins.
.So if you want them to take away our guns, our freedom of speech, telling us what we can and cant watch, what they can and cant produce and make in this country, and then if you do speak up or cause a commotion deemed inappropriate or a threat you will be labeled a Criminal of the State or Domestic Terrorist and have a Drone fly over head and just like the bug on the windshield of life the last thing you see is your Ass pass through your mind. it will kill you In your tracks. just like what they have been doing so far in the Middle East. Keep doing what you have been doing or supporting one small faction of the little picture just like the anti-gun people who are only focusing on the Guns, ( people wake up its not the Guns its the People behind the Trigger, Jut like is it the Car or the Drunk that gets in and Drives it, Is it the Drugs or the Dealer.. Human FACTOR counts for everything. ) idiots and there tunnel vision only see one thing what they want to see, yet they will be the ones screaming fowl when and if it ever happens and there second lump of shit they will swallow is we didn’t know.Take your head out of your back Pocket and look around awhile .. After all it wasn’t the Firearm that did the killing it was the deranged humans that illegally gained possession the firearms by one means of another that they got there hands on them.. then do to the Media broadcasting all over hell and back only to only create future Marters if you noticed with the last shooting not one of those family’s got a chance to grieve for almost 2 months after it happened. Cameras were in there faces from Go.. Just as Ruby Ridge gave way to Waco Texas and the Branch Dividians which went to Oklahoma City and Timothy McVae as i am sure Columbine created or gave incentive to the Theater in Denver and there is no doubt that in some little way or another that gave an idea to the kid in Connecticut ( By the way the Name the Medea spouted all over Gods Creation wasn’t even the shooter or had anything to do with it, it was is Mentally Ill Brother ) So i hope he has a good attorney to go after all the news channel that slandered his name, any how Just keep doing what you have been … Food for thought back when Tipper Gore got the Brady Bill Started just remember John Hinkley shot President Regan and the others that day with a 8 Shot 22 Long Rifle Revolver .. not an Assault Rifle .. and here’s another one for you all the AR-15 Platform that was created by Eugene Stoner was actual created for the Sports Industry and the Military . Law Enforcement at the same time. the first AR-15 produced by Colt when they picked up the Contract from Arma lLite was advertised as the AR-15 Sporter. when the military was still Testing the Rifle.. How ever the Colt 1911 designed by John Browning was created for the Military only .. and the Bolt Action Rifle which was produced back around the early 1900 late 1800s was produced for the military as well not our military by they way but the English in the Lee Infield and the Germans in the K98 Mauser. we only adopted from Mauser when they made the 1913 Springfield so here’s food for thought too under the Finestine bill the firearm needs only have one military charteristic. well in semi auto pistol out there that operates on gas return of the slide is banned the 1911 and the Luger are the Fathers to those system and are military derived, any bolt action rifle out there again the Bolt Action, and the list goes on and on.. so please do your part and Stand up for your Rites. ONCE THEY ARE GONE THEY WONT BE COMING BACK … THESE HAVE KEPT OUR GOVERNMENT IN CHECK FOR OVER 230 + Years now. and protected us the common citizen.

  • JoAnn February 21, 2013, 5:42 pm

WOW how sad is this!!! Biden just told me to go buy a shot gun?? and go shoot it in the air??? I was taught never, never, ever do that!! Maybe he better go an get a few classes on being safe with a Rifle!! What happens if there is like 5 guys breaking in,all I have is a shot gun are you nuts!! I will load and shoot an I will still have more men to hurt!! my AR-15 is so easy to shoot, I feel they are made for women an at least I would have the mag to hurt all the men or women that want my stuff, or want to hurt my family!! plus I like to just have fun to shoot it is a sport!! Hey Biden you better stop thinking, cause you just put your foot in your mouth again!!

  • Rhino February 21, 2013, 5:37 pm

Criminals are just like insurgents. If you limit people’s home defense techniques, it will be much easier for them to find a way around it. The more variables you allow law abiding citizens to exploit, the harder you make it for criminals take advantage of you. They will have to ask questions like, “Are they home? Do they have weapons? What kind of guns? Do they carry their guns or do they keep them locked up in a safe? Are they going to have to reload after 6 shots or does the owner have an AR15 with 30 rounds of .223 Remington by his nightstand?” This is why home invaders case houses in the US and don’t bother in the UK (40% UK home invasion happen while people are home. 8% in US.)

  • Forrest G Adams February 21, 2013, 5:04 pm

My God, Joe Biden thinks we are as stupid as he is!

  • USMC0351Grunt February 21, 2013, 5:03 pm

BIDEN! YOU ARE A TOOL! Get over yourself!

  • S.Evans February 21, 2013, 4:34 pm

The problem is that his solution, in Texas anyway, would be illegal. You’re not allowed to “fire warning shots” period, much less into the air, such shots to be directed AT the intruders or not fired at all, to do otherwise is to get yourself an endangerment charge.

Then again I wouldn’t expect Biden to know a sane firearms law if one bit him on the ankle.

    Unconstitutional Official Acts

    16 Am Jur 2d, Sec 177 late 2d, Sec 256:

The general misconception is that any statute passed by legislators bearing the appearance of law constitutes the law of the land. The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and any statute, to be valid, must be In agreement. It is impossible for both the Constitution and a law violating it to be valid; one must prevail. This is succinctly stated as follows:

The General rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality dates from the time of it’s enactment and not merely from the date of the decision so branding it. An unconstitutional law, in legal contemplation, is as inoperative as if it had never been passed. Such a statute leaves the question that it purports to settle just as it would be had the statute not been enacted.

Since an unconstitutional law is void, the general principles follow that it imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection, and justifies no acts performed under it…..

A void act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitutional law cannot operate to supersede any existing valid law. Indeed, insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the lend, it is superseded thereby.

No one Is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it.

    Jon Roland:

Strictly speaking, an unconstitutional statute is not a “law”, and should not be called a “law”, even if it is sustained by a court, for a finding that a statute or other official act is constitutional does not make it so, or confer any authority to anyone to enforce it.

All citizens and legal residents of the United States, by their presence on the territory of the United States, are subject to the militia duty, the duty of the social compact that creates the society, which requires that each, alone and in concert with others, not only obey the Constitution and constitutional official acts, but help enforce them, if necessary, at the risk of one’s life.

Any unconstitutional act of an official will at least be a violation of the oath of that official to execute the duties of his office, and therefore grounds for his removal from office. No official immunity or privileges of rank or position survive the commission of unlawful acts. If it violates the rights of individuals, it is also likely to be a crime, and the militia duty obligates anyone aware of such a violation to investigate it, gather evidence for a prosecution, make an arrest, and if necessary, seek an indictment from a grand jury, and if one is obtained, prosecute the offender in a court of law.

  • NotMyRealName February 21, 2013, 3:43 pm

I am starting to think that Joe Biden wants the public to beleive that he is as dumb as he pretends to be. That way we will not take him seriously on gun control. We can’t afford to underestimate the power of large groups of ignorant gullible gun hating fools. After all the current POTUS and his second in command got elected when most of the intellligent citizens knew he was lieing everytime he spoke on any subject. Obama made the comment that Americans are stupid and his re-election tends to back that up a little. We need to get the younger generation’s attention and help them understand why we don’t want the government to possess all of the guns. I will only give up my guns after all of the governments of all the countries in the world destroy their guns and other weapons!!

  • Bobby Bowlin February 21, 2013, 3:41 pm

This man has got to be the dumbest person on the face of the earth. His statement and advise makes no sense what so ever! God forbid he ever becomes the President of our once great country. He is a classic example of the Democratic Party……oblivious to reality.

  • Boba Fett February 21, 2013, 3:20 pm

    What a retard.

  • Pop Schlepp February 21, 2013, 2:53 pm

Mr Biden: What do you suggest that the house wife should do with the third guy coming through the door, that is, assuming she had time to reload (after unsuccessfully scaring off would be attackers by firing out the back door at her neighbor’s house and kids)? And also assuming she actually killed the first two with one shot each? You’re a moron.

  • J. Hall February 21, 2013, 2:07 pm

Forgive me guys but I want to write this like a personal letter to Joe (Bimbo) Biden even though I know he will probably never have a chance to read it. Here goes for what it’s worth…..I’m just venting a little cause this bungling, ill-informed, ignorant, double talking, mental midget is sooooo far out of line, I can’t believe it !!!

    Dear Joe old buddy,

Every single time you open your fat mouth Joe you clearly demonstrate to the entire world what a complete “ass” you really are. You clearly illustrate by your own words to everyone that you are a complete misinformed idiot. And obviously, here again Joe, you have opened your mouth one more time for everyone to clearly see what a fool you are. Quite frankly, thank God and the authors of the Constitution of the United States for including the 2nd Amendment….to protect us from those who intend to do us harm….and those at the top of that list who intend to do us harm are idiots like YOU Joe, yes YOU !!!!! We need to be protected from our own government either because they directly will cause us harm or they will make it impossible for us to protect ourselves from those who would do us harm. So, hopefully Joe, you and your buddy B.O. are at least smart enough to know and understand that we can see right through you. I am far more fearful of those like you than I am of others on the wrong OR right side of the law. Joe, you need to learn to think (with what little brain you might have) before you open your mouth….the words that flow from your mouth are ignorant, worthless and harmful to all. Your boy Obama needs to put a leash and muzzle on you right away Joe. You and the rest of us in America will be much better off if you are only seen and not heard. And Obama, the sooner you leash and silence your partner Joe, the sooner America will thank you for it. Remember Joe, “LEADING AND ENFORCING by EXAMPLE” is the best policy to get someone to follow you. Joe, I know LEADERSHIP is a tough thing for you and your boss, but why don’t you and your boss suggest to America that you are both going to limit your family’s protective Secret Service group to only one woman armed with a 12 ga. (two shot only) shotgun and she can only fire two shots into the air to protect either of your families in the event of a harmful situation. Go ahead Joe….do this for your family and let me know what they think of you for this half crazed idea. Do this for your and your boss’s own Secret Service Team, excuse all of them and hire one woman with a 12ga. shotgun and really show us what a pair of idiots you two are !!!!! Again Joe, I say the best way to lead is “BY ENFORCEMENT AND EXAMPLE”. That is the same method they teach law enforcement officers to conduct themselves. Show others by YOUR METHOD OF ENFORCEMENT AND YOUR GOOD EXAMPLES how to become safe law abiding citizens. Provide us by your example how to be truthful and law abiding and SAFE. Then decide for yourself if your example of leading and enforcing is correct by counting those that decide to FOLLOW you !?!?!?! How stupid do you think Americans are?

  • BigJoe February 21, 2013, 2:00 pm

  • Betty February 21, 2013, 1:55 pm

how long does it take the moderator to publish what you say?? Forever and ever. I see others on here get published a few seconds after they write whatever they have to say. My husband belongs to the NRA and I smell something fishy here at this site. My husband looks at this site for info. but after I tell him whats going on with blogs never appearing I’m sure MY request to stop going to this site immediately if my blogs don’t appear SOON!!

    • Administrator February 21, 2013, 2:04 pm

Some stuff is just too dumb to publish so we delete it. Otherwise it goes up pretty quick. Copying and pasting parts of the article, which your other comments entail, have no real point.

  • Amy February 21, 2013, 1:53 pm

Biden is an idiot! I actually shoot my AK 47 the best but can get the bulls eye with my AR 15 too! My son even said mom you need to just carry an AK, lol!! I carry a 380 at all times. BTW Biden I own a shot gun; I skeet shoot. He might own a gun but I am sure he would pee his panites if he had an intruder! It is sad to see how two men can let America go to hell as fast as it has! I sport shoot, I am an America, unlike Obama, and I am entitled to me 2nd Amendment. His entitlements are more taxes, more welfare, free phones, and none of those do I want! I only want what is rightfully mine! It is sad that we are even discussing this and Biden’s interview is pathetic. I sure hope he did not waste more tax dollars and pay someone to write that for him..

  • Robert Lugo February 21, 2013, 1:49 pm

Uncle joe’s wife could be arrested in Kalifornia if she followed his instructions of giving two blast off of the balcony. Here in the socialist state of Kalifornia, warning shots are illegal as is discharging a firearm in a residential area as well as shooting at an aggressor outside of the home. Not only is he giving bad advice in regards to self defense strategies he is advising people to break the law. Typical liberal mind set.

    • Administrator February 21, 2013, 2:05 pm

Probably the same in Maryland, Virginia or wherever he lives as well.

  • Tbone February 21, 2013, 1:44 pm

If that’s the case uncle joe explain to us why DHS purchased full auto rifles instead of shotguns! Joe do yourself a favor and SHUT UP!!!!! And leave US ALONE!!!!

    • Steve I. March 14, 2013, 5:00 pm

Yes, and they referred to these short-barreled machine guns as PDWs. Personal Defense Weapons.

  • Windwalker February 21, 2013, 1:34 pm

If the government would go after armed street gangs rathyer than armed citizens we all would be a lot better off. If the armed street gangs and their friends were off the street maybe the rest of u8s would not feel quite the need to out gun the bad guys. The double barrel 12 ga shotgun is great for close quarters but, afyer two shots you have to reload. If you are shooting out thye door you better know where the slug or buck shot is going to go

  • daryl February 21, 2013, 1:17 pm

What can I say, Stupid is, as stupid does. Tell your SS agents that you only want them to protect you with double barrel shotguns, Joe.

  • Lyle February 21, 2013, 1:12 pm

Can’t aim an AR-15? I know guys that regularly shoot them with 12-14″ barrels out to 900 yards, or more. Mr. VP, please make a trip to Camp Perry…sometime in your life.

  • Jeff February 21, 2013, 12:52 pm

    Mr. Vice President,

The Marine Corps taught me to fire an M-16, which we all know is similar to the AR-15. So similar in fact that learning to fire one is the same as learning to fire either. They also taught me to shoot the M2 .50 heavy machine gun, the 1911A1 .45 and the POS .38 revolver. I was never taugght to use the shotgun (even though it’s expected to know how to stick the barrel in someones face and remove their smile the hard way). So the point of this is: I can shoot nd hit anym target (up to 30 of them) with an AR-15. A double barreled shotgun is …2 shots? I think I’ll just keep the weapon I’m trained to use and save the shotgun for the geese (and ducks, quail, etc).

    V/R
    Cpl Jeff

    • Anthony February 21, 2013, 4:47 pm

If a the VP says double barrel shotgun is good enough for home protection then lead by example. Start by taking away all the Secret Service firearms. Then arm all the Secret Service agents with a double barrel shotgun. If you want to lead lead by example.

  • Gary February 21, 2013, 12:40 pm

You ever notice how vice presidents turn out to be idiots? It’s added security for the president. If something happened to Obama, Biden would take over. Can you imagine that?

  • Terrfisherman February 21, 2013, 12:35 pm

We are not child molesters, we will Not register or pay taxes on the ONE possession we are granted a right to own in THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION . The Snakes in Washington D.C. are basking in power and Stolen money. They live in luxury as the people (who work) bust their asses . Stand up men and women and say NO to this breach of power . We are the power. They fail to disarm felons, leave our rights the F alone!

  • Rich February 21, 2013, 12:31 pm

First we have a Vice President who shoots his fellow hunter, now we have a complete idiot who thinks a double barrel is the end all of end alls when it comes to home defense. Seems to me that we need to have a required course in the nature and use of shotguns for VPs

  • Kevin Maas February 21, 2013, 12:26 pm

Hey BIDEN…. There ain’t no HIDEN. …. You are an uninformed DUMB SHIT

  • treyblum February 21, 2013, 12:22 pm

I can’t understand how this moron has sustained life with such a deficient brain. I am ashamed as an American and Former US Marine, Vietnam era that we have elected such a gaggle of incompetent idiots to ‘RUN’ our government. Mr. Obama and his minion Biden-san need to go bye-bye, ASAP.
There are proponents who advocate that to fend off a possible attack from a rapist, WAIT FOR IT HERE GOES… Women should carry a container of bodily fluids to throw at an attacker.
HAVE WE GONE SO FAR AWAY FROM RATIONAL THINKING THAT THIS KIND OF JUNK IS OUT THERE.

  • Stupid February 21, 2013, 12:19 pm

Actually a double barreled short barreled shotgun is a very good home defense gun, much better than an AR-15 that might miss or go thru the wall & hit the neighbor’s dog. It requires no pumping, just pull trigger twice.
Now don’t you know that Biden really wants Mom to have a Saiga 12 gauge with a 30 round magazine, firing 3 inch Magnum? You see by giving Mom this gun, when the cops finally get there, they will have easier access to the home because of the missing wall.

  • its all good February 21, 2013, 12:06 pm

I am NOT an Obama supporter. Noone will take my firearms, ammo, or magizens, I was born a free american, who served in the United States Air Force and is a disabled veteran, one who believes in our constitution to the fullest, i have the right to own any firearm, ammo, or magizens, available to the general public, as long as i obay current firearm laws, federal and state. I am not a criminal, I do not have a felony on my record, and I am a good standing citizen of the United States of America, and I reserve the right to protect my family and myself, any which way i can, especially when my local police department (chicago heights il.)tells me they do not potroll my particular neighborhood within chicago heights. Please stop striping my rights further, and also thank Obama from me, for increasing our national debt more than any other president in history, since hes been in office.. it is sad to say that firearms founded this country, and givin enough time, firearms will destroy this country as well.. but until then or until you guys find a way to keep firearms out of criminals hands, id like to keep the ones I have.Thank you

  • aydene militello February 21, 2013, 12:03 pm

Hey Joe, with proper training and some time at the range, Mommy can learn to use any semi auto. Besides, a shotgun loaded with buck shot might damage the walls as well as the thug entering uninvited. Are you going to come over and do the clean up? Maybe you could send over your body guards; the guys in your house, out front, and the ones sitting in the unmarked car,,,oh, as well as the Marines on your stupe – stoop!
CONCEAL CARRY is a lady’s only best protection.

  • Rich February 21, 2013, 12:03 pm

Hey Joe, if a shotgun is such a great self defense weapon…when can we expect you to disarm your security detail any give them side by sides for YOUR protection? Let us know when your plan is in place.

  • tony February 21, 2013, 11:54 am

what’s with vice -pres and shotguns? first cheney now biden? we know who not to hunt with.. by the way that’s approx. 18 .22 cal projectiles in less than a second . faster than a .223. dumb ass………..

    • Rich February 21, 2013, 12:33 pm

Tony — you beat me to it. Maybe a Constitutional Amendment to require VP to know what to do with a shotgun.

Oh wait. That won’t work. Nobody in Washington has ever read the Constitution.

  • John Eldredge February 21, 2013, 11:43 am

Is anyone here sick of this administration? Does our president wonder why Congress is unwilling to work with him at all? How did this joker get elected? We are all to blame for letting this complete joke run our country. How ignorant is Joe Biden? It is very difficult to comprehend just how stupid these people are. Every day I see the media fueling the presidents agenda. These stupid bastards are fueling these events by giving them glorified coverage. As a father of two amazing severally disabled boys, I have watched so many life critical programs get cut under this administration. My two passions in life are my family and guns. I’m not about to sit here and let anyone take either from me. Please promise me folks, let’s do everything we can to prevent an incompetent administration from running our country in the future. We have allowed this clown to destroy us as a country and divide us. We have allowed him to make us an easy target and he is working hard to make sure we cannot defend ourselves as well. Its hard to imagine that someone would be elected based on race and not by qualifications. His whole idea that Congress is picking on him, sounds like a five year old telling his mommy that his sister was picking on him, what a joke. Their not willing to work with you, because your ideas are ignorant and only meant to build a very specific section of the population.

  • BigJoe February 21, 2013, 11:42 am

The real problem lies in violence in our society, if that were addressed with success, gun control debates would not be a reality… in that light, in my opinion, this country NEEDS to return to an age old solution that produces the correct results immediately… it worked in the 1800’s in this country and will work again… a speedy fair trial and a swift hanging… it used to be the public event on Saturday afternoon, a picnic was had by all, now we should televise it on national public access TV … if you commit a crime of violence with a gun, you WILL get hung …. simple but effective,,, all these liberals screaming to take our guns away, would then be screaming about “human rights” and “cruel and unusual punishment”,,, then we could debate that and leave the “tools” (guns) out of it….
In this time of the world, where our enemies like North Korea, have openly stated that they are targeting us for a nuclear strike, and other enemies are laying the covert inroads to our infrastructure, like China, who is basically attacking us as we speak, and our weak leadership, and the threat of other nations under Islam that have already attacked us, common sense would dictate more private ownership of firearms, like Switzerland… when the Japanese considered invading our mainland in the 2nd world war, they abandoned the idea because the threat of a gun behind every blade of grass… we are the only country in the world where the citizenry would rise up and defend our homeland in the manner we would because of privately held firearms…. we sure cannot depend on our government for any help, our own history has shown that time and again….
As for Biden, his big mouth has proven his intellect time and time again… unfortunately, history has proven to elevate his kind to the highest public office, we can only HOPE this does not happen with him…

  • Steve M. February 21, 2013, 11:01 am

Way to go, Joe. When you hear a noise in the middle of the night, go outside with your coach gun and blow away the Secret Service Detail who had a sneezing/coughing fit or perhaps stubbed his toe/banged his knee on your patio furniture. Schmuck!!!!

    • Stupid February 21, 2013, 12:25 pm

The coach gun is for inside. For outside, Mommy will have a different shotgun, a Saiga with 30 round magazine.

  • pointman49 February 21, 2013, 10:57 am

A lot of ‘dna’ was wasted in creating the clown known as Joe Biden. Does one not shudder with realization that he is but one heart-beat away??? On 2nd thought, perhaps not a bad thought at all ????

  • NvCowman February 21, 2013, 10:53 am

I think one of our mistakes is letting all the talk be about home defense. The second amendment allows that, and that is a big part, but the amendment was originally written with the idea of allowing the citizens to protect themselves from a tyrannical government. We are letting the media take over the conversation. The second amendment is about more than self defense, and the president and vp know this. That is why the gov’t. is pressing to disarm the citizenry.

  • Martin February 21, 2013, 10:52 am

Hannity interviewed man who went to college with Obama and he says Obama said people should not be allowed to have guns at all.
That is what we are really dealing with.

  • Ringo Lapua February 21, 2013, 10:49 am

Keep this stuff coming JOE…. I’ve seen a lot of political idiots in my day and real close up, but JOE (they call you Joe, right?), you are the biggest IDIOT I have seen in my life. You are the BEST INSURANCE POLICY BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA has in this world, cause you make him look smart in comparison. Who is the lady interviewer on this video, Joe and WHY is she dressed up as a man — is she one of those lesbo Feinstein supporters? Could she fire a double barreled shotgun without screaming hysterically in fear. How about firing SLUGS in the shotgun Joe? Much badder than an AR-15 one on one at 50-100 ft. Come to my house and I’ll give you and your lady friend interviewing you a real “demonstration”.

  • John lemure February 21, 2013, 10:49 am

Interesting analogy for 1950s America. When the crime rates and other internal threats were low!
Who? was the She – male Troll , sitting beside the Vice – Perpetrator asking the Dumb questions.
Perhaps they really need to investigate the last several Shootings, and come clean about how they were all staged Drills!

  • John Spillers February 21, 2013, 10:47 am

If you can’t aim an ar15 the goverment sure missed up in the 60’s. Why did they take our M14’s, and gave us the. Mattel made AR15.

    • S.Evans February 21, 2013, 4:45 pm

The newer versions (A3/M4) are much nicer, but still in that dinky 5.56mm. Frankly I agree with you as my primary rifle is the M1A, a more accurate civilian version of the M14 mostly used for service rifle competitions in excess of 600 meters (where the AR-15 dominates).

I’d want something more akin in velocity and muzzle energy to a 6.5mm Remington Magnum for a service rifle. It still has fairly light ammunition, it just propels its 100-120gr bullet at huge velocities, giving it a nice flat trajectory all the way out to between 600 and 800 meters. Pity the round didn’t catch on as it would have made an excellent round for a gas piston operated service rifle.

With 100 grain bullets the weight per round would have been negligibly higher, but the energy delivered to the target, particularly using copper solid rounds, would be FAR higher than that of the M16/M4/AR-15.

Once I retire to the country I’m going to get an 02 FFL and build a service rifle using that caliber just to see how well it works out. Unfortunately 6.5 Rem Mag is hard to find, and my one rifle that uses it has just about shot out its original bore, and needs rebored and sleeved to preserve the original P.O.Ackley barrel.

      • Steve I. March 14, 2013, 4:36 pm

Great rifle idea. Have you considered the .243 Winchester? It’s ballistically a little shy of the 6.5, but still way better than the .223 and is a common hunting round.

  • Charlie Carr February 21, 2013, 10:44 am

With a double barrel shotgun and two warning shots out the back door. Is foolish indeed. Now her magical shotgun is empty. Time to reload in a panic. Here in florida there are alot of gangs. Mexican, haitian, jamaican, cuban, puerto rican, petty criminals,etc.. So if three or five thugs are trying to break in your house. Two shots is not going to cut it. Why not reduce the amount staff the president and vice use on a daily basis? Save the budget? How about more mental institutions? That biden has previously in his career made alot of foolish statements. Perhaps he needs to stop drinking alcoholic beverages. Cut back on his meds.
Is the government buying up all the ammunition because of a possible banking industry collapse? The collapse of the US dollar. With gas and food prices on the rise. Even the NYSE is up for sale. Are the chinese investors and the korean investors interested? Some bad stuff coming down the pike.

Typical uneducated Dangerous gun owning Joe.

This is his advise to his wife and the american people.
1). He will tell his wife to take the double barrel shotgun out on the balcony if she is afraid and shoot off both barrels of their 12ga (to scare away her paranoid fantasy).
(this way {a} she will have an empty gun if she really does needs it, {b} she can be arrested for just discharging her firearm by a private residence, {c} she will violate all the safety rules of being sure of her target and what is beyond, and {d} have his wife have to handle the heavy recoil of a 12ga instead of the almost non existent recoil of .a .223)

Hey Joe, great advise, considering that in almost all cases, even the police are not allowed to fire any warning shots. I hope that fantesy never comes true and her reckless discharges do not occurr, It will only make all other law abiding safe handling gun owners look bad.

Is there really any legitimate response to an asshol$%%e like Biden? I’ve got an idea Biden, why don’t you stick that double-barrel shotgun up your tailpipe and let’s see if any brains come out the other end? That is real change I can believe in!

  • 50bmgVA February 21, 2013, 10:35 am

Joe Biden is without a doubt the most unintelligent person ever to be in politics and thats hard to say when you have close runners up like Pelosi, feinstein, shumer, and reid. Bottom line is, if you come to my house and try to take my guns, it will not end well for you. So think long and hard before you send these police or military on a monkey mission to be slaughtered. Same goes for anyone trying to take my neighbors guns. This will spark a revolution of unimaginable magnitude. The military couldnt even hold bagdhad how are you going to handle 150 million armed americans?

    • Jeff February 21, 2013, 4:26 pm

Thank god their are some Sheriffs that arent going to uphold any gun confiscation policy and would actualy arrest and charge the feds. Unfortunatly our Sheriffs isnt one of them. Just the other day they had a town meeting and he was asked point blank. He stated he supports the 2 nd but would uphold any law out of the puzzle district. Also hes said he didnt believe the citizens needed 30 round mags. What a shit bag he is.I didnt vote for him. Also Osama Bin Hussein Obama stated it wasnt fair for the police to be “outgunned by the citizens” hmm last GD time I checked my ARs none of them are full auto like law enforcement has. The only way they would be outgunned at my house if they showed up is if they didnt send enough officers to confiscate all my guns Ivegot enough ammo on hand as well as ARs and other gun but none are full auto so the police wont be outgunned as claimed by Obama. This is just a ploy they are using to scare the uneducated non gun owners. We all say ohhhhhh come and get em and ill drop you but think about it youd be killing another American. This will be differeant than when the British tried tonshove their Tyrranical views down our throats. Granted I wouldnt have any issues returning fire if someone shot at me but drawing first blood is a different story. Dont forget we have to make it seem like it is or going to be a Tyrranical govt sending in someone to confiscate our weapons. Let them fire first then give em holy ole hell. Look at Ruby Ridge. The Feds royaly Fu$#ed up but none of em was charged for murder and he was proven innocent but the govt spun it as he was evil etc like they will try andmake us giuns owners out to be psycos if we fight back.
Hopefully their will be law enforcemnt that will tell them to shove it up where the sun dont shine and if they want ourguns then let the pussy polititians who enacted any ban to come and get em. Ide love that!!!

There are a few things that would certainly help here..
STOP the media from putting these ‘kids’ in the spotlight. They are getting EXACTLY what they want from doing these kind of crimes: ATTENTION. It’s like when they spend hours and hours in front of a video game.. just to have ‘high score’…
Put the teeth back into violent crime offenses… fast track capital punishment, public and either hanging, electric chair, It HAS TO LEAVE A MESSAGE.
Throw ‘insanity’ plea bargaining OUT. Someone pulls the trigger, I don’t care if they are drooling idiots. THEY ARE GUILTY.
This blame finding/shifting that has become the normal in this Country has to stop. WE are responsible for OUR actions, and MUST be held responsible for them!
I have counted at least 4 things in my statement above that the aclu would ‘probably’ not agree with…

  • Razor February 21, 2013, 10:26 am

Since “AR-15 style rifles” are in short supply now, take a look at the Benelli M4 Tactical shotgun. It’s available with or without that dangerous pistol grip! Perhaps Joe can arrange for us all to have one similar to the free cell phone program.

  • Muhjesbude February 21, 2013, 10:21 am

Some excellent points in your ‘Biden the Moron’ Article here, but it might be too late. As a ‘tactical’ professional with lifetimes of political experience as well, here is what’s really happening. This super slick regime is playing ‘We the people and like a fake Stradivarius, and giving Clinton style interpretations of what ‘is’ and ‘is not’ our ‘unalianable and un-infringable human Rights. And why not? We let them get away with ‘Fast and Furious’. We let them get away with Benghazi. We let them get away with lying about everything from the unemployment rate to what is really going on in the Middle East. Just keep them food stamps a-cummin, and those hand-outs a-hummin’.

Right now for their true intentions They are using sophomoric ‘art of the deal’ and everybody is falling for it. Even a lot of our traitorous representatives who are going along with the scam…even if they know it or not!

FrankenFeinsteins outrageous gun ban is just a ‘negotiations’ ploy. They throw in a bill for outrageous bans of virtually every gun of any viable protective utility, BUT, what they really want to SETTLE for, is just a little bit of nothing more than only basic ‘registration’. Not even ‘real’ registration, but just to close that nasty old gun show background check loophole…after all, it’s not so much to ask? I mean, wtf, they’re so generous as to let us keep the AR’s, as long as we limit the mag capacity, that’s ‘fair’, isn’t it? Anything to help save our kids. (which is what was used in the book ‘Mein Kampf’.

And this is exactly how it started in CANADA! Their slippery slope was faster than an Olympic downhill ski race!
Now, if you’re caught defending yourself with a semi-auto of any kind, you won’t have a house left when you get out of jail. Like drug confiscations. This is the ‘model’ that this regime is watching.

Lets get off ‘DEBATING’ shotguns v. AR’s and etc. Because there IS NO DEBATE when it comes to our individual rights. Biden is not a gun dummy, he’s as sharp as an 18th century whore’s straight razor. He intentionally wants to keep the ‘debate’ going, so that they can slip in the ‘gun show loophole’ trap while everybody is ‘debating’ stupid armchair nonsense. ie. They wouldn’t want to steal your best weapon if it WASN’T the best weapon for most jobs! (someone just told me yesterday while we were observing the planes change an otherwise clear blue sky into a grey one, if they are now adding ‘stupid dust’ to the chem trails??)

The issue here, people is total, totalitarian tyranny. What the agenda is. And how it starts. And you are seeing it now. It starts by incremental bits of ‘control’ and monitoring. All seemingly benign and potentially for ‘your own good’. And thats where the mind fuck comes in. They use a lot of vaseline, so it even has some cognitive easing of the concept.

The point, if any discussion continues, should be ‘WHY IS THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT REGIME SO ILLEGALLY INFRINGING UPON MY RIGHTS, USING ILLEGAL INTRUSION ON MY PRIVATE COMMERCE AND PERSONAL TRADE TRANSACTIONS, BY REQUIRING BACKGROUND CHECKS ON WHEN AND WHAT I PURCHASE?! Be it personal weapon, or sugar saturated styrofoam soft drink?! Whose ‘business’ is that? When our privacy rights guarantee that it should be NOBODY’S BUSINESS, unless we are doing something bad to someone else with it, and then the ‘law’ will punish us.

Who in any GAWD’s or any dead person’s name CAME UP WITH a background check LAW, or any law that allows strangers to stick their noses in our private business??? Or is it even a ‘law’? I thought there already was a ‘law’ that no data-bases will be kept on gun owners? So what do we need ‘UNIVERSAL BACKGROUND CHECKS’ FOR?

The idea of background checks started with FFL business’s being regulated and commercially taxed. (if anybody failed to pass ‘slippery slope’ 101, the historic exemplification went from picking up a case of Atlas 40% over the counter for 20 bucks with no paperwork, at your rural hardware store in 1966, to now not being able to OWN a 30 round magazine in New YORK!

There’s only one way to stem the tide of Tyranny while “We, the people’, still have the opportunity. First we must quit sounding like the ‘terrorist based anarchists’ which ‘They’ want us to souond like which will justify the now well armed and stocked alphabet agencies doing un-announced ‘SWAT type’ sweeps of weapons on their data base list in targeted neighborhoods. (remember, it’s not enough to say ‘ i got rid of it. They’ll say ‘where’, and remember Martha’s little white lie to the fed that cost her six months in jail. Especially if the gun show loophole is closed, you’ll be required to ‘document’ all transactions. Which will turn out to be the worst scourge of the tyranny against our rights. “Papers please?”)

So quit saying stupid shit like “They ain’t taken my guns” and everybody should “stock up on ammo” (which will be restricted right after AR-15 bans, because why do you need 5.56 if you can’t have an AR?) Unless you want to be ‘red listed’ as a potential terrorist and be the first one on your block to be ‘visted’ by ‘social security or IRS or FEMA special agents with their Glock 40 carbines and 30 round mags-which you paid for but can’t have yourselves- at 3:30 am?

The cold hard reality is that if this regime gets even one ‘concession’ in the coming legislation, they will already have ALL of your guns. It will only be a matter of time and logistics. A few ‘die hards’ might resist until they’re killed. But most sheeple will give up willingly (especially if there’s a cash bonus like in California, recently), and even some stronger patriots will weaken when mom says, “hey asshole, you ain’t risking our house and your job and the kid’s welfare for your stupid fucking AR?” And lets face it, The rest of ‘we the people’ are getting up there in the years and just don’t ‘train’ as well as the gov tools, and not to mention paid snitch networks that will rival the lottery payouts so… revo will be undermined well before the moutholutionaries ever get a chance to lock and load and move out.

So what’s left? WE, the People must use the LAW to our benefit, not theirs. Forget debate logic because they don’t care about logic, and lets reverse the strategy. Lets concentrate on the ‘criminality’ of the government and legislature to undermine our civil and Constitutional guarantees. This can be done by lawsuits, Bills put forth by our legislators. And simply pushing that blue button above in the article every time you read something and not just one time. We need a constant pressure on our legislators. CONSTANTLY! NO COMPROMISE. PERIOD!

Remember in successful combat, There is no such thing as holding ground. If you are not winning, you are losing.
This is War. And Biden is winning at the moment with his shitgun v. AR debate which is nothing more than a CHI-Town hustle to get their jackbooted foot in the door, And we fell for it. Do not give them the dignity of a ‘discussion’. There’s nothing left to be ‘talked about’.

We should be using their strategy against them. I inquired as to whether or not my rep was anti-Constitutional , and if he was not, then urged my Rep to initiate a bill repealing the illegal 1968 Federal gun control act and eliminate the ‘F’ from the BAT(F).

We don’t have a lot of time left to waste ‘talking gunslinger shit’ when the regime is busy garnishing future ‘absolute power’ votes with things like pardoning 10 million illegal alians, and handing our food stamps and entitlements and padded crony guv jobs like there’s no tomorrow. And for your self protection rights…There won’t be a tomorrow if we don’t move NOW!

  • Glenn February 21, 2013, 10:14 am

What is it with Joe Biden and shotguns! He just makes this stuff up on the fly – what an idiot! I have a feeling his wife ignores most of what he says anymore. Walk out on a balcony and shoot into the air?! Really!? First of all, if a criminal is threatening me or my family or attempting to break-in, I’m NOT going to go meet them outside. I grab my loaded gun, dial 911 and get ready to shoot. Both my boys (14 and 18) shoot with me at the range and know how to handle firearms. My wife knows where I keep the guns and ammo and would use them if needed. Stop blaming gun violence on the gun and put the blame where it belongs – on the criminal or psycho! The 2nd Amendment is a right, not a privilege.

  • Jim February 21, 2013, 10:12 am

Just like the old west. Picture the stagecoach with a driver and another person riding “shotgun” with a double barrel 12 gauge. Up rides the James gang with six shooter’s and the “modern sporting rifle” of the day, a Winchester lever action. That’s why the stagecoach was pretty easy pickings for the bad guys. Oh, and picture Joe riding “shotgun”.

We will only need the Second ammendment if they try to take it away from us. The more important Ammendment, in lock step with the Second is the Third. A Government that fears the power of its Citizens must provide freedom. A Citizenry that fears its Gocernment lives in tyrrany. The entire world has armed citizens who have lived in tyrrany and do not wish to do so again. We lived under tyrrany and decided to have a revolution.
We cannot do so if we are unarmed! Read and remember the thoughts of Thomas Jefferson. We are going through great changes in this Country. Primarily changes in our racial demographic. Rather than making snide comments and implied foul language it would be best if we might consider our position in a Nation where we may be not only outnumbered, but also outgunned!

    • Robert Findley February 24, 2013, 10:30 am

I’m a little confused by your remarks; the 3rd Amendment addresses involuntary quartering of troops in the homes of citizens. Now I know everybody has their favorite amendments: conservatives love the 2nd , 7th and the religious clause of the 1st, while liberals embrace rest of the 1st, the 4th,5th, 6th, 8th, and such elements of the 9th and 10 as are required to construe a right to privacy. But until now, I didn’t realize the 3rd was still a hot-button issue for anyone…

      • Administrator February 24, 2013, 1:33 pm

  • Jesse February 21, 2013, 10:01 am

  • Stupid People Hater February 21, 2013, 9:52 am

After they take our guns away these very people will want our protection when the government forces us into slavery. At that point they won’t have any guns to fight back with and they will finally realize a little to late just to what degree they screwed up. And when we have been disarmed and the invasion comes (and it will) who is going to be there locally to protect them? Wake up America! I will not give up my weapons … I have a God Given Right to protect myself and my family but I don’t have to protect idiots although I most likely will.

  • Bill February 21, 2013, 9:50 am

And won’t the wifey get arrested for discharging a firearm in city/town limits and reckless endangerment? They’re going to try to get everyone who has a firearm or believes in the 2nd Amendment classified as mentally unfit.

  • JL February 21, 2013, 9:46 am

  • Rule of Law February 21, 2013, 9:42 am

Dear Mr. Vice President, both of your sons are attorneys. One of them is the Attorney General for your state of residence, in Claymont Delaware. May I recommend that you ask your son, the AG, if your wife will be violating Delaware state law and thus subject to prosecution for her infraction. Because law enforcement in Delaware seems to be a Biden family affair, I doubt your wife would pay for her crime, but the average American housewife will surely suffer a different fate if they follow your advice to discharge a firearm inside a residential area without identifying a specific threat. Mr. Vice President, in addition to advocating the violation of long standing state, county, and municiple laws, your advice is also a blatant violation of multiple basic rules of gun safety. NEVER discharge a firearm unless you identify your target (the threat) and know what is beyond your target (in the event that you miss, or in the event that the projectile passes through your intended target, thus potentially harming an innocent bystander). Mr. Vice President, your advice is reckless and actually places potential home invasion victims in greater harm should they believe and follow your poor home defense advice.

  • PGeo February 21, 2013, 9:36 am

Write to your local representatives. If they do not listen, then write them again. This video is sad for a number of reasons, the foremost being a lack of logic, which is unacceptable from a Vice President. As a Democrat, I love firearms and the ability to own them. That said, I would greatly appreciate if anti-gun democrats would speak out as to why they A. Think their personal dislike of firearms should dictate what becomes rule for everyone else and B. Why they continually choose to ignore the statistics surrounding gun violence.

Anti-gunners, please put the pathos aside and formulate a logical argument, I think you will be sincerely hard-pressed to find one.

Fellow “gunners”, we cannot talk among ourselves. We must talk to those who oppose us in any format we can, and when we do so, we must do it with a calm logic that has power in its structure and appeal to common sense, not in its volume or “attack”.

Overall, we must listen to what the other party is saying. If we do this, we can address those points most effectively.

“It is a good thing his wife has never been stalked by someone sitting in his back yard with an AR-15…”

This seems a little extreme. No offense, but I dont know anyone, man or woman, who has been ‘stalked’ by someone with an AR-15 in their back yard. As a (proud) AR-15 gun owner, statements like this don’t do much to lend credibility to the notion that AR-owners aren’t a bunch of apocalypse-slavering militants.

  • douglas kemmis February 21, 2013, 9:28 am

Isn’t it amazing that so many people are that naive to believe that the best way for us to live is by letting government control our lives? Isn’t that what our gun rights are about? Not letting the government take our freedoms away? How can we get the word out to wake people up to the fact that we don’t need gun control, we need to start being responsible adults and teach every single child from the start, self defense, gun safety and ethics. People die every day, but if the good guys are disarmed, that just leaves the bad guys. If we can’t have a certain firearm, then neither should the government or anyone else.

  • Mark Are February 21, 2013, 9:24 am

Tell Joe, I’ve already got a shot gun. A H&K M1 Super 90 with a tactical flashlight and a 200 mw green laser. YES, you read that right a 200mw laser. Not a 5mw one. Great for BLINDING my attackers before I fill them full of #4 buck. And I don’t waste any of the 7 rounds of 3″ magnum with warning shots. Where do these guys come from? Dinosaur eggs?

  • An American February 21, 2013, 9:09 am

If I stuck a 12ga. shotgun out my window I be shooting into my neighbors house and maybe killing someone because its only about 20 feet. • BLH557 February 21, 2013, 9:03 am

This is a great message. Unfortunately you are preaching to the “choir” and will never get a voice in anything other than the GOA circle of friends. The MSM will see to it that positive, objective justification for gun ownership is NEVER presented in a cogent and sane conversation to the viewing (and mostly low-info) public.

  • Richard February 21, 2013, 9:03 am

Didn’t the shooter in Aurora use an 870 shotgun??????? Does Biden know you should never fire any gun without knowing the background and identifying your target? Police are not allowed to fire warning shots but the VP’S wife is allowed to do that?????? What an ignorant blowhard.

  • Tmgsolocam February 21, 2013, 9:02 am

Personally I think a double-barreled shotgun is one of the best guns for home defense, sitting next to my AR-15!!!

  • D. KLaus. February 21, 2013, 8:52 am

Sorry guys, but according to the NRA home-defense coarse, a double-barreled shotgun is the best gun for protecting your home and family. The AR manufacturers, the gun retailers, and LaPierre won’t tell you this, but that’s what they teach in the coarse.

If the anti’s are going to take us seriously, we need to get out own story straight.

Everyone knows Joe is a goober. What he was saying, and why he was saying it is purely political and certainly not intended as a ‘tip’. But let’s face it, I can’t think of a better ‘home’ defense weapon than a shotgun loaded with 00 buck. Shot for shot, if you were an inturder, what would be your choice in the legs, gut, wherever??? Granted, Joe Biden is a master of tripping over his tounge. However, the ‘principle’ of what he’s saying is really true whitout him even knowing it…..there’s not a more devastating and simplistic home denfense weapon that a scattergun. An absolutely sinister close range weapon.

  • Josh Penn February 21, 2013, 8:41 am

I am not surprised that he can’t even listen to the question at hand. It proves how single minded he is. As for a double barrel shot being harder to use then an ar, he has a point, it can’t get much easier. But, a double barrel shotgun wouldn’t stop an angry mob. So, he can keep his double barrel shot gun, and his secret service agents and ill keep my AR

  • Texas001 February 21, 2013, 8:37 am

Well how about a 12 ga semi auto that holds 10 rounds of 00 buck shot. Okay Joe?

  • Paul Carelli February 21, 2013, 8:35 am

    Mr. Vice President,
Many women and their stature would be blown back by a 12g shotgun, and after two rounds then what? Sit there and try to reload while the intruder has a 30-rd magazine on his UZI or Glock?

The AR15 is the most popular semi-auto on the market, for a reason! Its easy to use, low recoil and can be used for varmint hunting, self-defense and plinking . . . when did the 2nd Amendment become a RIGHT that was BASED on NEED !!! You’re lack of upholding the 2nd Amendment is sickening. You swore on the Bible to uphold it. Are you also a non-practicing, non-religious person too?

  • carlos February 21, 2013, 8:32 am

A shotgun has a heck of a lot of recoil compared to the ar15.I beive that an AR 15 would benefit considerable over a SHOTGUN.Less recoil and more rounds to hit the target, instead of one or two shots a mother would have up to 30 on a basic clip. Also,it shots like a bb gun.

  • old defender of 2nd February 21, 2013, 8:17 am

Go outside and fire it!? Even if it scares off intruder you will be charged with felony discharging a firearm within city limits and lose your right to own a gun.

    • JD Starr February 21, 2013, 12:45 pm

That’s probably why it was suggested. If they can’t get you to turn in your guns, or pass laws that prohibit what will actually protect us, even from them, they give us a suggestion that will turn us into felons, and if we are law abiding citizens, we won’t have them. Brilliant plan, poor execution.

      • SecondTheFirst February 23, 2013, 6:51 am

JD, that IS why it was suggested! His comment discreetly describes the banning of ARs and such first, until ultimately taking our 2 shot, SxS smokepole, leaving us w/ nothing! We need to come together intellectually and fight this agenda of infringement!

  • Mike February 21, 2013, 8:15 am

Very smart, go outside and blindly fire off 2 shot.. Very safe. Smart comment you IDIOT!!!

  • Rich Heipp February 21, 2013, 8:11 am

My mom is going to be 75 years old in April of 2013 and she is a CC permit holder and packs a 357 magnum & a Sig, mosquito, “Hay Joe Biden” “A shot gun won’t fit in her purse.” Obama & Joe Biden are part of the problem not part of the solution. I would like Joe Biden to walk around the street of Chi town and tell me he is safe secret service or not. If we are cutting service worker jobs lets start with the secret service first and limit the leadership to one body guard and give Obama and Biden a shotgun to make up for the cuts in protection that keep them alive. This country would save at least 100 Billion in just one year.

    • Mark Are February 21, 2013, 9:26 am

EXCELLENT ideas! They don’t even have to buy shotguns with cash. They can do an inner city food card buy back and get them for a few groceries. That will save us even more. I don’t think I want them to have more than a single shot though. Especially after seeing how Obama skeet shoots like a sissy.

  • Jaded February 21, 2013, 8:10 am

That may violate the Rules of Engagement in many states and if someone were harmed, that shouldn’t be, mommy would be charged. What is his advice for daddy? What a MORON! I’ve never heard of anyone in a gunfight say, “I wish I hadn’t had so many rounds”.

  • Tom February 21, 2013, 7:59 am

This guy is an idiot! If an AR-15 has a collapsible stock, the person, women or man can adjust the stock to a proper fitting length making it easier and faster to bring up and use. Secondly, I cannot believe he suggested to step outside, and fire off two live rounds, either in the air, straight in front, or down into the ground. There are laws against such behavior, especially in a city or urban setting. Secondly, an AR can be more readily adapted with a light, which I suggest, laser, and red dot. All of this makes target identification easier, and faster. I’d almost guarantee, that in the middle of the night, if an intruder sees a light/laser combo centered on him, you wouldn’t even have to fire one round, unless they have a death wish. I said it before and I’ll say it again. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but do us all a favor. If your going to share your opinion, make it a logical and educated opinion.

  • Audacity February 21, 2013, 7:58 am

  • Nucci Cento February 21, 2013, 7:49 am

I can assure you Biden, this women 52yrs. Old @ under 5 ft. Tall less than 100 lbs. Can aim an assault rifle & very accurately!! Your comment is RACIST as well as Uneducated!! Do you realize that you have just LOST many of your women supporters?
You are a disgrace to our beloved County!!!!

  • William Thien February 21, 2013, 7:48 am

What’s disturbing is that the legislation being offered to control guns is being done so by people who reside in or who have been elected in parts of the country that don’t even come close to representing a cross section of the nation’s population. Example: Diane Feinstein is from San Francisco. A beautiful city, but the population’s values are so far from that of the mainstream that it seems to me to be ludicrous that they should be telling the rest of the country how to behave. Perhaps they shouldn’t be legislating entirely for the rest of us.

    • Jeff February 21, 2013, 3:39 pm

      I agree
it sucks she is trying to shove her values and ideas down our throats. Let the poor idiots who voted for her suffer the consequenses of her anti 2 nd ammendment views. I live on the opposite side of the country and DID NOT VOTE FOR HER!! Ill be damned if im gonna let someone from a state I dont even live in dictate what kind of gun I can own or anyother dumb ass idiotic limitations not on the books already. They should enforce the laws and stop playing pussy foot to criminals and stick anyone who uses a gun in a crime in the desert in a tent city like AZ does instead of letting them out giving them numerous opportunities. Look at the gangs YOU CANT CHANGE A LIFESTYLE!!! its ingrained into how they live. Look at ALL big cities and the crimes commited by criminals and what gun is used they dontgive 2 s$$!ts about the law. These morons in DC are just gonna give the criminals an easier time to do their thing. My mother is about 100 lbs soaking wet. She would be able to uandle my ARs but not a damn 12 guage. Bidens a GD moron and MENTAL RETARDATION does run in the family. Look up Joes son and what he did to the Deleware Sheriffs dept

  • Buddricko February 21, 2013, 7:44 am

Sorry for the miss spellings and grammar. Smart phones are not that smart. But you get what I’m saying.

  • Buddricko February 21, 2013, 7:41 am

    Mr. Biden,
Get your wife a KSG or UTS-15. This way if the perp isn’t frighten off by the two blasts she won’t have to reload. She will have at least 13 more rounds to defend herself. Yeah, I see your point having a AR-15 or equivalent as a home defence weapon, especially if you live in a townhouse or denced populated area and have kids in the home. The muzzle velocity is to high to use FMJ’s. However, most of us who are or where in the armed services loved or rifles and have them names and became very attached to it. And we use it for target shooting without having to reload every ten rounds.

Mr. Biden, don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. It’s not magazine capacity that’s the problem. It’s the mentally ill. Perhaps a purchaser should have to go through a mental evaluation and get licensed to own a particular gun. They will have to be held accountable for what happens to what ever happens to a person and or property that was harmed during discharge. A responsible owner won’t have any issue with that.

  • DJ February 21, 2013, 7:39 am

Colonel Dan, Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) Cowboy Chronicle, Feb 2013 said it best when he advised the various Second Amendment Advocate and Shooting Sport groups to unite. The Founding Fathers knew that only through unity could tyrany be defeated. We even had a flag that said “Unite or Die”.

You need to start dialogue with NRA, SASS, N-SSA, etc so that together we can defeat the “idiocracy” in our Capitol.

  • An American February 21, 2013, 7:38 am

▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄█▓▒░ Typical political response. How about this: Vehicle accidents cause more deaths than guns. Driving is a privilege, so what RIGHT does anyone have to OWN a 400+hp muscle car and drive it on a public road? With road rage and drunk driving a factor anyone can have, why would we let anyone drive this 400+hp monster on our streets. They are harder to drive, harder to use, and why would anyone need that much hp. Maybe we should all drive a Prius or walk! ░▒▓█▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

    • VOS February 23, 2013, 12:09 pm

The way has already been paved for this in the ruling on Obamacare. according to the Supreme Ct, we could be told that everyone must buy/pay for a car, (because presumably we will all need transpertation at some point in our lives), and our choice is either a Prius or a Volt.

  • Marty G February 21, 2013, 7:31 am

Oh yeah, the 2 round capacity of a double barrel shotgun can handle anything any person might have to deal with when defending themselves and their loved ones. That is if you have the Secret Service to back you up. And everyone who has watched a movie or played a video game knows you can’t miss with a shotgun. If they were so effective, Biden, you’d be asking to ban them too. What a maroon.

This will not happen as long as we are armed. Also everybody needs to watch “END GAME” a video by Alex Jones, Blueprint for Global Enslavemnent. If this ever happens then all of the voters for free food and money will become the food . Soylent Green

  • Mark S February 21, 2013, 7:22 am

With only 2 shots, against a home invasion, where four, invaders are carrying handguns, with 8 to 15 round cap. magazines, you do not stand a chance.
    Maybe for her,a 18 in.barreled 20 gauge,with extended mag tube,would make sense.
My wife likes the Walther PPK in .380.
She has a wood box,on her dresser, with 2 spare mags, handy at all times.[no there are no children in our house]
My personal preference is an AR15.
I normally do not like 30 rd mags,as they get in the way shooting at prarie dogs from a bench.
    But for home defence,I have a CAR ,with a 30 rd mag,in the gun,and a stock pouch,with a spare 30 round mag.in it.
I also have a TAC light, and laser sight, mounted on it.
Due to budget cuts, we now only have 2 Deputies ,on 3 shifts to patroll almost400 sq. miles,so help, could be at least 30 minutes away, and if there is an accident,or fire, they are occupied with traffic.
We all know it is not their fault,it is the politicians who earn 200,to 300K a year, would drop their wages to what we make, they could afford to have 3 to 4 more deputies on duty.
In our town,so many people have applied for concealed carry permits, that one of the guys giving classes runs through 25 people every Sat.,and Sun..with a town of 10,000,seems like everyone should be armed by the end of the year.

  • Josh T February 21, 2013, 7:21 am

What an idiot, I determine what I need to protect my self.1. If there are multiple intruders a double barrel is not enough. 2. He is showing what idiot he is for “firing a warning shot” People are responsible for the lead they sling. He has no clue about gun safety. 3. the AR is one of the easiest weapons to learn and use. It’s accuracy is better for public safety that a “scatter gun”. There is a reason we call a shot gun a “Scatter Gun”, we should require a competency test for politicians. Oh wait, competent work in businesses not politics.

    • Richard February 21, 2013, 9:13 am

Shot guns don’t really scatter much at home defense ranges so you still need to be accurate. The movies exaggerate the effect of shotguns. Still a great choice for home defense, especially a 7 round, 18.5″ barrel, semi auto with a tactical light attached. Even in .410 gauge which everyone should be able to handle. Long guns are inherently more accurate then any handgun. If you expect trouble grab a shotgun, if you don’t expect trouble carry a handgun.

      • John February 21, 2013, 1:21 pm

“…..Long guns are inherently more accurate then any handgun……” I agree for rages of 50 yards or more. but for self-defence distances like 10 – 25 yards, I’ll take a hand gun every time. Hand guns are much easier to move around and aim at the shorter distances, and if an attacker is moving in on you, a hand gun is much more efficient.

      • Jack February 21, 2013, 6:55 pm

Richard, I agree that movies do exaggerate the effect of shotguns. But have you ever seen the effect of 00 buckshot when fired out of a 12-gauge at less than 10 yards? I have and the movies aren’t that far off. A shotgun is a good home defense weapon (not a double barrel), esp if you have someone who doesn’t like to practice and become proficient with solid projectile weapons. But I will stick to my Glock and my 14-round magazines. And I pray, (for their sake!) that noone tries to come and take it away from me!

    • John P February 22, 2013, 7:47 am

You are absolute, firing a warning shot is irresponsible and dangerous. It is for that reason that law enforcement agencies have a strict policy about not firing warning shots. What goes up must come down.

  • Don February 21, 2013, 7:15 am

Uncle Joe Biden is an idiot. Why is the media turning a blind eye to the history of the shooters who started this debate all over again I wonder. All have been identified as extreme left wing radicals and one even worked on Obama’s re-election campaign. Now one has to ask, who is behind pushing these folks over the edge and the reason why now? hum……… Wake up America! I smell Nazi Germany all over again.

      • Angie February 27, 2013, 1:08 am

According to research in progress: Impeachable Offenses

Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution says, “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” In his report, Independent Counsel, Starr accuses President Clinton of committing eleven acts for which he could be removed from office by impeachment. Are any of those acts “Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors?” Well, that’s up to the members of the House of Representatives. According to Constitutional Lawyers, “High Crimes and Misdemeanors” are (1) real criminality — breaking a law; (2) abuses of power; (3) “violation of public trust” as defined by Alexander Hamilton in the Federalist Papers. In 1970, then Representative Gerald R. Ford defined impeachable offenses as “whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history.” An excellent definition, Mr. Former President. In the past, Congress has issued Articles of Impeachment for acts in three general categories:

Exceeding the constitutional bounds of the powers of the office.
Behavior grossly incompatible with the proper function and purpose of the office.
Employing the power of the office for an improper purpose or for personal gain.

        The Obama Administration’s
Disregard of the Constitution and Rule of Law

The Attorney General is responsible for the enforcement of the laws of the United States and defending the Constitution. Of all agencies in the federal government, the Justice Department should not be motivated by a partisan agenda. Unfortunately, under the Obama administration, the Justice Department has become more partisan than ever.

The House Judiciary Committee has jurisdiction over the Justice Department and oversees the actions of the Agency. The following report gives several high profile examples of how the Justice Department has ignored the Constitution to impose the Administration’s partisan agenda on the American people.

  • Dennis Graham February 21, 2013, 7:06 am

I don’t believe we are actually outnumbered so much as they wheel that squeaks the most gets the oil. If those that support the 2nd Amendment and gun owners everywhere made as much noise as those that don’t, they’d have no choice but to hear us. Now that I’ve said that I’d add, when you’re dealing with people like the P/VP that rather see everyone limited to just what “they” want you to have and also have the means to voice their opinion in a manner that it get a large amount of circulation, the average person doesn’t have a chance. That’s why we need organizations like the NRA, VFW and the many others that have the ability and funds to make a case for US. The best thing we can do is cross our fingers and hope we survive this administration. Socialism can be a scary thing!

    • Krusader February 21, 2013, 11:36 am

What bothers me is that every organization that says they want to help us protect our second amendment rights, at the same time wants us to donate dollars to their organization. I am a multi semi-automatic rifle and pistol owner and if I were to try and support all of these companies, I’d be broke next week. What also is crazy is this B_____________s___t deal about abandoning 20 and 30 round magazines. I have a few Smith and Wesson Tactical
.22 rifles that came with 5-30 round magazine in the Carry case. Now we’re talking about a .22! Most of the pistols in today’s world are not wheel guns (revolvers) they are guns that use 15-17 and 20 round magazines.

If large capacity magazines were somehow outlawed, almost every pistol in the U.S. would have to be banned as the magazines hold too many rounds. This whole thing is scary. We are no longer “We The People”!

It has been said-When the people of Country are unarmed, they are living in Tryanny-When the people of a Country are armed, they are living in FREEDOM!

  • Carol February 21, 2013, 7:02 am

    Dear Crazy Uncle Joe:

Having been trained on the M-16 by the US Army, I am more than capable of using an AR-15 to hit a specific target. It certainly seems a lot more responsible than randomly firing a shotgun out the backdoor.

  • Michael Borske February 21, 2013, 7:00 am

So, nothing may get passed on a National level. But it is readily apparent that the Liberal Gun Grabbers are out in force and have an anti-gun agenda on the state level. Thus all the election style campaigning by our Vice-President and the Fraud-in-Chief himself. They are attacking on every level folks and using social media as their venue of choice. If they were truly concerned with gun control, theyd be looking at handguns NOT PDW’s a.k.a Assault Weapons. Not that i’m in favor of that either, but the whole idea had been safety. Assault rifles ARE NOT the big issue here. Drugs, Gangs, Mental Health care, a lack of responsibility, single parent households, and many other issues are contributing to violence. Notice how the gun issue had been avoided like the plague until after Mr. Obama was re-elected. NOW his true color is coming out, Yellow, he’s a coward.

  • mikhail kalashnikov February 21, 2013, 6:58 am

Good advice Joe, but instead of a double barreled shotgun, get a Saiga with a 20 round mag.

  • Vega51 February 21, 2013, 6:52 am

What if it takes 31 rounds to save your family’s life! What a fucking moron!

      Perfect! I agree totally!

    • steve February 21, 2013, 9:17 am

Thats why we have another magazine. Lock and load you moron.

    • Andrew February 21, 2013, 9:42 am

Reloading an AR is easier than reloading a double barrel shotgun. Obviously you have never done either. Go watch some youtube videos of 3 gun competitions and count how many double barrel shotguns are being used. How many db shotguns are used by secret service agents? Please think about your reply and reply only when you have done your homework.

  • FreeAmerican February 21, 2013, 6:51 am

Gun control will lead to gun confiscation. Gun confiscation is the theft of private property.

Gun theft is a crime, and if the gun grabbers commit that crime, they will probably be shot to death while attempting to carry out a FELONY.
Joe Biden and his boy friend Obama are advocating the theft of property owned by Law abiding American citizens.
What better way is there to rid this nation of communist criminals than to have the gun grabbers attempt to steal the private property of well armed, law abiding American citizens?

  • Miles Stoneman February 21, 2013, 6:40 am

Face it. We’re outnumbered. Those without guns, and who want to remain so, are more than those with guns. And those who want to remain helpless, want company. Us. I’m pretty discouraged at this point – not enough to give in, but still, that “change” we are promised leaves me “hopeless”.

What’s scary is that IF (take a true miracle) Obama was prosecuted & removed…we’d then be stuck with a bigger embarrassment with Ol Joe at the helm. If he got canned to…Uh-Oh…The House’s Chief Jellyfish gets the spot right? OM Gosh! America has come to the era of FOOLS!

  • Sharpie February 21, 2013, 6:17 am

  • nock vanderburg February 21, 2013, 6:10 am

Pro gun groups are really dropping the ball on controlling this conversation and here is why…..we arent creative and we dont lay out logical arguements to dimantle theirs….we simply put out press releases quoting the second amendment…which is fine…but after the 89th time we retort with a quote from the constitution anyone on the fence shuts down and says to themselves “same old shit…they cant even counterpoint”

We need to hit every accusation or ridiculious claim or suggestion with a counter attack explaining WHY the IDEA isnt right…for EVERY SINGLE ONE. Then we need to go on the offense and keep talking instead of just waiting to argue against the next claim. We need to flood the airwaves with the mountains of stats and facts and historical data that support our side and dismantle theirs….right now the pro gun movement sucks at being able to convey information people will respond to instead of simply defening claims and quoting quotes.

    • Kenny February 21, 2013, 8:36 am

Perfect! I couldn’t agree more! Don’t be a fanatic be intelligent. We need to educate people not alienate them. I have convinced many people to swing the way they feel by showing them facts and stats! Wake up America and do this right!

        Nock
you hit the nail right on the head. For instance on2/23 they are holding a pro gun rally nation wide hence the 223 date. My state has one of the highest gun/ person ratio in the country unfortunatly# 1 it came in with the Obama vote ( i didnt vote for him) #2 my state isnt even holding a rally. What a crock. Talk about head in the sand huh????
also your point is totaly on about the 2 nd ammendment quotes. Ide like to smack the shit out of Lapiere the NRA spokesman. Hes all over the place. I belong to it along with my 3 sons wife and girlfriends but he just spouts retarded stuff and doesnt retaliate with intelligent comebacks when the anti- gun idiots regurgitate what the media has shoved down their throats as well as the morons in office who think the 2 nd has to do with hunting as well as Nancy Pelosi thinks its thev1 st ammendment that gives us the right to own guns.
They dont think the AR platform comes in any other calibre than .223 and isnt usedforhunting ( it is) it comes in many many calibres and sense 2007 its making a hit with hunters because of it. Butdoes anyone correct the anti gun spewing morons ?? Nope no one does. I wrote mycongresswoman and explained all this to her. Thank god she is a Republican and is anti Obama and carries concealed. But we got an idiot who re submitted the gun ban who was quoted as ” being exhausted looking at pictures of guns” to add to rhe ban list.
He list is assenine, retarded and doesnt make sense. Will anyone smack her ugly ass up side the retardedhead and tell her to wake up..?? Her damn ban did nothing to curb crime the first time. Her state screwedup re- electing that frankenstein look alike and I wanna thank all you fruits, nuts and flakes from Cali who re- elected her again after her first gun ban when you all know, knew she is anti gun.
We need to educate and rebutt all this gun info that is plainly wrong, mis information. And silence that Brit Piers Morgan who frigging blames guns on everything . I bet during sex he blame it if he didnt get off. He sounds like a broken record. His show on the gun range was WRONG!!!! he misquotes and makes it sound like you can go and buy an automatic weapon at walmart. That idiotic gun range owner didnt correct him on the spot when Piers made it sound like it was as easy as buying a pack of gum to get and own an automatic gun
jeesh wake the heck up Gun owners if ya got a retarded next door neighhor spewing retarded gun info he or she heard from the tv itstime to correct them!!!

    • Jack February 21, 2013, 6:44 pm

AMEN! We need to be proactive not just reactive. If we stand together and speak out together then those who are trying to take away our freedoms will see that they aren’t just up against a few, individual gun-toting nutcases! But up against the Heart of America!

  • rswarner February 21, 2013, 5:50 am

Sorry, but Joe Biden is right.

    • Carol February 21, 2013, 7:03 am

You’re an idiot who’s obviously never fired a weapon.

      • Jeff February 21, 2013, 2:21 pm

        RS
Obviously you have been drinking the same Kool-Aid they have been giving the Democrats, Liberals, Crusaders, FFFs and Lemmings that the WhiteHouse has been feeding all you uneducated dumbasses. ? Most if not all of the before mentioned have never used , touched, sniffed or held a firearm.
Biden proves it as do the others

    • bill February 22, 2013, 7:32 pm

Well maybe you should go live with Joe then. He’ll keep you safe….

  • DALE WEINBERG February 21, 2013, 5:40 am

    BIDEN’S AN IDIOT!!!
    1) In most cities in America, if a citizen goes out their front door and blasts their double barrelled shotgun, they will be arrested for recklessly shooting a fire arm in city limits. Is Biden trying to tell us to break the law?
    2) My ex is 5’3″ and she weighs 100 pounds. If she were to shoot a double barrelled shotgun…she will fly backwards about 4-6 feet and be on her butt.
    3) An AR-15 does not have that kind of a kick and it is much easier to handle. The Israeli’s developed the Uzi so that it can be fired by women. The AR is easy to control
    4) Many crimes like home invasions include more than one perpetrator. Usually two and sometimes three. A lot of good a double barrelled shotgun will do with that. ALSO, anyone who has had any kind of experience in these matters will tell you that this is a highly stressful situation. Your aim will be off as the adrenaline pumps thru your body. Where are you going to keep shotgun shells 3 and 4? Even if they are nearby. Ejecting the spent shells and reloading new shells with the stress and adrenaline going will be difficult.
    5) What if there are innocent people nearby where you are going to shoot the shotgun. The bad guys may be in front of you, but if a loved one is 2-3 feet from them on the floor or behind a sofa…they risk getting hit too. Good thinking Joe.
An Ar-15 makes more sense in these situations. In the right hands it is a surgical instrument…it is not going to randomly fill the room with buckshot or slugs and maybe hit a good guy. Biden’s comments shows me that he is inexperienced with a firearm. He has no experience and that the only thing that he is shooting off his his mouth. A word of advice for Biden is to put brain in gear before you put your foot in mouth.

    • Richard February 21, 2013, 9:23 am

An Uzi is a bit difficult to control and it’s 9mm not at .223 like the AR-15. Also it’s a myth that shotguns scatter pellets and slugs around when fired. They are highly accurate and at home defense distances need to be aimed. They do deliver a heavier load on the target so stopping power is good but the effects you see in the movies are exaggerated. With a small amount of training your ex would easily handle any shotgun and would never be blown backwards unless she’s in the movies.

  • Nebhog February 21, 2013, 5:16 am

A shotgun? Lol. That would just piss me off and make me want you more if you pulled a shotgun out! Lol! Bring it on Joe!

  • Tony February 21, 2013, 5:04 am

Now how many of you big talkers would actually be prepared to fight – literally – for your 2nd amendment rights?

Remember “molon labe” and all that stuff…how many of you?

Just remember, these no-gun-owning transexuals can only take our guns if we let them. Think about it.

    • jim February 21, 2013, 8:36 am

I believe a large percentage would stand up and say game on. How many Leo’s or active duty military follow an unconstitutional order? The only reason it hasn’t happened yet is I believe the government knows it would start a civil war.

      • BillInLexington February 22, 2013, 8:18 pm

“The only reason it hasn’t happened yet is I believe the government knows it would start a civil war.”

I don’t think that actually bothers the gov’t. That eventuality is why DHS and NWS bought so much ammo. Really … the National Weather Service needs MILLIONS of rounds of JHP? Are people really that mad at the forecasters?

The reason it hasn’t happened yet is that they aren’t ready yet. It IS going to happen. Get ready.

    • BIG MIKE February 21, 2013, 9:53 am

Tony, you hit it right on the mark. As gun store owners, our family sells a lot of guns to a lot of different kinds of folks, and I often ask them “Are you buying this gun just to give it up when some “Homeland Security Brown Shirt Boys” or “UN Blue Helmet Socialists Peace Keeping Force” comes to take your gun or are you going to stand up against the tyranny that wants to annihilate this great nation and enslave us to the Marxist agenda? As an Oath Keepers (www.oathkeeper.org), I truly believe, I will stand and defend her just I like swore to do in 1970. The Law Enforcement Officers, US Military, along with those of us who have taken the Oath to Defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC, will rise to answer the call. For all who may read this:
In response to these unconstitutional actions by the President, on .223, February 23, 2013 the American people will stand together in defiance to protect the right that protects ALL of our rights, the 2nd Amendment! They will organize locally so that they may band together neighbor to neighbor and reassert their community’s right to determine their own destiny! Visit http://www.dayofresistance.com/ for more information.

      • JP February 21, 2013, 11:40 am

People need to visit youtube and do search for gun confiscation in new orleans…..They have been testing it!

        • Muhjesbude February 22, 2013, 1:08 pm

Yup, and didn’t Louisiana recently sneak in a state law which prohibits personal PRIVATE transactions without a paper trail like a check or credit card purchase??? I have to go back and check but i think it became law? So i can’t buy that ‘chainsaw’ from you unless you have one of those little swiping devices on your cell phone, or i write you a check. They are ‘testing’ a lot more than you realize for the big ‘okey-doke’ in the sky coming possibly even within a year or so. It will provide an answer for the question, “Why doesn’t the government care about the economy collapsing debt and spending problem that can’t be fixed…?!

Oh, They’ll ‘fix it’, alright. Thats why it is very important to win this gun registration battle, forthwith!

      • Muhjesbude February 21, 2013, 11:41 am

Big Mike. I would love to believe you as much as I love this country. But always remember the human psychology. If it isn’t corrupt, it’s stupid. If it isn’t stupid, its afraid.

And people, especially those who swear an oath, are the last people to keep it. Just look at Biden, here.

And again, read my other post. I guarantee that if an armored reinforced battalion of troops moved into your county and declared it a terrorist conspiracy zone and declared martial law, curfews, rationing, and mandatory ‘turn-ins’, otherwise… necessary deadly force will be determined on a case by case basis. You know, like the cops who when knew that the fugitive Dorner was wounded and hold up in the cabin, didn’t even give him an offer to surrender, but just immediately torched the cabin with initiatory incendiary cannisters, causing him to realize the reality and shoot himself to avoid being burned alive, and you will understand the true mentality of human conflict.

I know you are a patriot, and if you are alone in your thinking, perhaps you would go down as a martyr. But if you have family and children, i would suggest some serious introspection as to whether you want to make that decision for them, as well. Nobody even remembers the name of the children shot at Ruby Ridge.

I pray that people will get out of this revolution trap that they are luring us into, and waste this valuable energy on ‘organizing’ and ‘banding’ together, to GET THE LAWS BACK ON OUR SIDE. And maybe rising to ‘that call’, will save us. What good is is to die for something you might not get anyway, when you can LIVE and have it? Lets remember what G. Patton said: “make the other SOB die for his country”. Lets make these politicians pay a heavy ‘corrupt career’ price right now if they continue what they are doing by treasonous violations of our Constitution!! Get on the offensive, not the bunker down defensive!! Violence in the streets would mean that we already lost and would just be holding off, tragically, the inevitable. We already ‘let’ them enslave us too much and too long to have the ‘armed militia’ element work to our advantage. Think seriously about that.

Our only chance now is the political weapon. And that window of opportunity is closing fast.

    • BUTCH February 21, 2013, 12:07 pm

IF WE THE PEOPLE STICK TOGETHER AND TELL THEM WE ARE KEEPING OUR GUNS THEN WE WILL
THERE ARE MORE OF US THAN THEM.

    • Jeff February 21, 2013, 2:42 pm

      Right here!!!
Myself and my 3 sons ALL AGREE they arent taking my guns. My oldest is in the Natl Guard I asked him point blank what he and his buddies would do if ordered to enforce any law Obama passes to confiscate guns. He told me its a discussion they have had and over 90% have said they would take over the base and use those resources to help out us law abiding gun owners standing up defending the Constitution and 2 nd ammendment. I bet a lot of active duty would do the same. Obama is gonna cause a shitstorm especialy if you see any federal troops gunning down americans.

      • Jack February 23, 2013, 5:33 pm

Truth is, they probably won’t be american troops doing the gun confiscations. Think about this. Osama bin Hussein oblama, declares martial law, then goes to the UN, asks for foreign roops to ebforce his martial law. Think it can’t happen? Thers more then 50,000 foreign troops on US soil at any given time”TRAINING”, and the assholes that hate us in the UN , wouldn’t hesitate one instant to help destroy this country. Food for thought?

        • Muhjesbude February 24, 2013, 8:46 am

Now some of us are starting to ‘get it’. And don’t forget the Alphabet agencies with all their tax payer supplied Glock Carbine kits and tons of ‘house to house’ .40 SW ammo… I heard that even the VA is ‘gearing up’ for PTSD ‘incompetance’ as an excuse to ban former combat vets (the first one’s they would like to ‘nuetralize’ in a violent civil disobedience scenario) from owning guns. Otherwise they won’t get the benefit checks in the mail. I hear the IRS is somehow getting involved with the VA!

Well, then, time to make my routine daily complaint to my-translating to ‘those hired and paid by my tax dollars’ -Representatives to see if they are doing anything to preserve our Constitutional values. That they swore to uphold.

        • Robert Findley February 24, 2013, 9:54 am

Jack, I’m a little skeptical about the 50,000 foreign troops on U.S. soil thing, I suspect the actual number here on any and all training missions might total about 2% of that figure at most. But I learned some years ago that I don’t always know as much as I’d like to think I do, so if you have some specific information that can be verified, I’d certainly be interested. Thank you…

        • BUTCH February 28, 2013, 9:02 pm

JUST 50,000 FOREIGN TROOPS JACK ? WITH 90 MILLION GUN OWNERS THAT WOULD BE A SLAM DUNK.

    • Jack February 21, 2013, 6:34 pm

Tony, I don’t know what part of the country you live in? But I think you would find that the majority, a larger majority than Congress needs to override a president, would stand up! Many of us have been considering getting the 80s bumper sticker that said, “They will pry my guns from my cold, dead fingers!” !!!

      • Muhjesbude February 22, 2013, 12:31 pm

Hope you’re right, But more of ‘us’ than ‘them’, you say? Didn’t this fascist regime get in power with their um, uh, majority??? Which I think means ‘more’ of them than us? Factor in the weak, the turncoats, and simply the incapable. (notice i didn’t say ‘old’), and the ‘die hard’ Patriots will be severely outnumbered. Not to mention insurmountably and horribly outgunned. I don’t see even the GA. county sheriff with his entire county deputized able bodied citizenry, with all their AR’s in their ‘warm live hands’ standing up to the urban warfare armored tank division coming in from Ft. Knox and ‘sweeping up the anarchist terrorist criminals who won’t obey the registration or ‘turn-in’ LAW! Read LAW. Their LAW. The problem with everyone’s emotions is that they are not tactically feasible. Which is where they want us. As far as Jeff and his brave sons talk…well, i happen to be an ‘insider’ as well, and I promise you they might resist orders, but they won’t take over the base. If they have even already discussed that on a military base, they’ve committed a crime of conspiracy. Somebody already snitched them out, and they are being watched. If their base was about to be called into action against ‘armed civilian terrorist criminals’ (like they were in the 68 race riots in Chicago.) as the martial law decree would declare. Then before the base went live mission status the MPs would calmly pick up all the ones like your son and put them in the brig sans Habeous Corpus, until further investigation. So I hope your fantasy at least assuages your psychosis temporarily until you all wake up to reality.

Here’s a better idea. Why don’t we all temporarily forget about them ‘prying’ our guns from our cold DEAD hands, which they won’t bother doing. The parasite scavengers… will pick them up after the tanks roll through and re-sell to criminals, you know? The ‘friendly moutholutionary neighbors’ you thought were freedom ‘fighters’ right beside you? They’ll have vice-grip pliars with them to rip the gold teeth out of your mouth, and your gold wedding bands off your bodies as well. And when the the Abrhams tanks roll back through to re-supply their belt fed .40 mm grenade launchers, and fifty BMGs, and gas launchers, and all sorts of stuff that will make you a lot of pain before you die, your patriotic support base will be giving them the thumbs up sign! and bringing offering them cold Pepsi’s to thank them for getting rid of those nasty militia terrorists…just like they did with those dirty stinky 1% people last year.

So Instead of waiting to die for nothing from superior firepower, why don’t we stand up ‘ALIVE’ for SOMETHING, and show them that we’ll kick their asses in their kitchen and teach them a lesson by fighting fire with fire on the political level first. Why don’t we find out what real time charges we can bring up on any legislator who ‘intentionally’ attempts to undermine the Constitution they swore to uphold. Or maybe ethics charges/investigations, and let it be known in a very public way. Shift the entire ‘onus’ of bad black weapons of high capacity, to sinister agenda based criminal legislators with evil high capacity sedition and corruption! AND GET ONE OF THE SO-CALLED PATRIOT JUDGES, SHERIFF’S OR POLITICIANS TO SIGN AN ARREST WARRANT AFTER SEVERAL PEOPLE SIGN MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS AND BRING ‘EM IN? STARTING WITH BENEDICT ARNOLD FEINSTEIN! tHEY CERTAINLY WOULD DO THAT TO US. THEN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT, THEN ONE BY ONE, A PUBLIC CITIZEN’S INQUIRY PANEL ON EACH REPRESENTATIVE FOR A JUDGEMENT TO SEE IF HE/SHE IS VIOLATING THEIR OATH OF OFFICE AND OR COMMITTING AN ARRESTABLE CRIME.

Lets see who the first brave Patriots are who will sign an arrest complaint will be? I already went down to my County. At first they said “not you again”. When i got done with them, and explained how they are supposed to do their job, or they could lose it, they said they’ll check into it. We’ve got a liberal fascist anti-gun nazi congressperson in my state. And i’m going to spend hard earned money i don’t have to waste on finding out why she is attempting to violate my rights. And then, which judge will uphold it, and which venue will serve the warrant? I realize citizens can’t ‘sue’ the government, but what about individuals representing us? Some law expert patriot should be working on that. All it takes is one Congressman to get crushed under her own treasonous agenda, and the rest will cave. Then we don’t have to be dead patriots leaving our kids in the hands of fascists. But it takes a different kind of effort that’s much harder to really ‘do’ than talking shit about how bad ass you fantasize you are with your AR or AK against choppers armed with mini-guns and grenade launchers. Which brings up the question, Where’s all the Rich Patriots? Money can go a lot farther than a .308 round when it comes to getting THE LAW!” on our side??!!

Lets get our brains locked and loaded before the guns. We as Citizens, ARE the law. WE TELL these Representatives what WE want. And right now we don’t want any corrupt illegal back room snake charming on our tax dimes! Or we do high capacity ‘Political’ Assault.

It is really, really too late when we wind up ‘all falling to hardball’ in the street while our kids watch us die. instead of having ‘them’ doing time in Prison for crimes against the law of the land.

I know i said this before somewhere. But why not get a ‘Patriot Senator to introduce a bill repealing the 1968 Firearms Act, for starters? Tip the scurrilous shitpot right back on them! Teach them a real lesson. We should have done that and other things a long time ago. But we were sleeping. And ‘They’ brought the alarm clock!

As for bumper stickers, how about “Ban street gangs, NOT guns!” Or better yet. “Ban treasonous politicians, not Patriot firearms. or, “No Treasonous Gun Bans. Or, “Two terms for all treasonous politicians, one in office and one in JAIL” and last but not least, “Don’t Ban Guns–Hang seditious politicians!”

        • Bill In Lexington March 20, 2013, 10:11 pm

Sounds like a plan … but you need some help in the slogan department. Maybe something along the lines of:

          “I love my Constitution
          but I hate my government.”

“Wake up and smell the treason.”

Black men with guns are free
Black men without are slaves again

If the government doesn’t trust you with guns,
          what is it planning?

Are Obama’s kids worth more than yours?
His get armed guards all day, everyday.

And not just on bumpers … on billboards and full page newspaper ads.

  • Jim February 21, 2013, 4:59 am

It’s one thing to pass laws. It’s another to enforce them, especially when law enforcement disagrees with them. Ask your parents or grandparents about the federal 55 mph speed limit back in the ’70s. It was observed about three days and then everyone completely ignored it, including law enforcement. Americans will not register their guns. They will not turn in their guns and they will not allow them to be confiscated. There are too many of “us” and not enough of “them” to do it. Their goal is not gun control, it is tyranny.

  • Brian February 21, 2013, 4:46 am

An AR has a little kick, but putting my wife behind a 12 gauge and asking her to pull the trigger twice gets an “Are you an idiot, ’cause I’m not?” look. She loves shooting trap with her 20 gauge, but I had to get light loads for her to do that. We have our shotguns for protection and hunting, but it would not necessarily be the first thing my wife would reach for in a home invasion or questionable situation. Seems like double barrel shotguns are used more by elite types who like to smoke pipes or 1930’s movie sheriffs, I always considered them better for decoration, hell I’d rather hunt with my old bolt action 410.
In the interest of full disclosure, I proudly confess that my wife is a better shot than me no matter what we shoot.

  • jtaylo February 21, 2013, 4:40 am

The VP said-“you don’t need thirty bullets” (in a magazine) of course not because Joe has thirty secret service agents
to protect him. What normal american has that? And after you miss with the first shot from your shotgun and you hit
them with the second shot and they keep coming what are you gonna do then?Batter up! Better hope they stand still so you can bash their brains out.

  • Badshot46 February 21, 2013, 4:33 am

Now there’s an idiot for you.
Don’t you think he looks like Himmler.

G*d help his poor wife. She has just emptied her double barrel shotgun in the air.
Now she’s running arond the house trying to escape some bad guys. Think she has a hope in Hell?

  • Skip Plummer February 21, 2013, 4:32 am

The answer to all of this is not more gun control laws. There are so many of those already that no one, not even most police officers, actually know what they are! If there is any answer to all of this, I might be for every state to loosen up (a lot) on gun ownership, training and the issuing of concealed carry permits.

As a result of all the ‘fun’ that the whackos have been having with their firearms lately, if anything, we can expect a lot more of this sort of thing to be going on in the near future. One ‘nut’ doesn’t like being bested by another ‘nut’. I’m not talking about ‘copy cat crimes’ here. I’m talking about how a whacko’s mind tends to work.

I’ve had plenty of firearms training (army – RA14884463). I have, perhaps, too many firearms stored in this house but I’ve been a licensed collector of military firearms from WW I, WW II, the Korean conflict, the Vietnam debacle and much of the conflict that goes on in the middle east today. Rifles and carbines (bolt action and semi-auto), revolvers and semi-auto pistols as well. No. They are not all loaded but the CZ-52 semi-auto pistol (JHP’s) that is on my person most of the time certainly is; as well as several other ‘guns’ (if you will) that are concealed in strategic locations around this house.

It’s rather simple, really. I have combined a hobby with personal security and I feel that it is working quite well for my purposes.

    • AR GUY February 21, 2013, 7:27 am

      Skip,
I will gladly take any firearms that you feel are too many and give them a very happy home at my house!

    • bill February 22, 2013, 7:08 pm

Really bad idea to advertise what you may have, lots of bad guys will read that and take it the wrong way..

      • Bill In Lexington March 20, 2013, 9:52 pm

If he wants to, he can hide some of the extras at my place … no one will look for his guns at my house. 😎

Actually, I don’t even hide mine. They are out where I can get to them when it comes time to scoot on outta here.

Left the city for the country two years ago and presently learning how to leave the country for the backwoods. Can’t back up any further than that. Won’t try.

As an almost elderly!? Woman (68), I’ll take my S&W revolver over a shotgun anytime, but I also have a Mossburb persuader as well! I wish my daughter’s in law were as savvy but I’m afraid they are part of the “lost generation”. I don’t know what I can do to wake them up. They, and my sons, have drunk the kool aid. I have no Influence because I am just an “old misguided old lady” now! However, I have food and water stored up!

    • AR GUY February 21, 2013, 7:25 am

I’ve heard them say I wish I had more rounds! Which is why I make sure every semi auto handgun I have has at least 6 spare magazines in one of those Midway magazine shoulder bags. And every semi auto rifle I have has at least 12 spare magazines. Never leave home without at least 100 spare rounds. You never know which gang that has waltzed across the border unhindered is going to start shooting up your town no matter where you live. And since they have MACHINE GUNS furnished by FAST AND FURIOUS ERIC HOLDER, we need to be at least a little bit on par with them, don’t you think, Joe the RETARD Biden? ARREST Obama and Holder for their involvement in THAT debacle.

    • Jeff February 21, 2013, 2:13 pm

you have my vote. Take care of yourself. The (lost generation are just that) you cant convince some people the buildings on fire when it is.

Hi u also need a way to get out of town so u won’t end up in one of those fenced in yards that are being built in Az the land is owned by George Soros. If you don’t know who he is look him up he scares me to death big time. He was with Hitler when he was 14-15 yrs of age so he knows just how to break down a country in a fast way and he is the one that got Obama in office, Obama is his puppet..I to have a hand gun its not much of one its a smaller one it fits in ur pocket holds 3 shells with a pearl handle and I am saving for a bigger one now, plus I practice with bow and arrows they are so quiet and fast I really like using those never know when they are coming..George wants to place all American’s in a prison camp just like they did the Jews during World War II we cannot let that happen here, even the Queen of England chased him out so maybe some tar and feathers are needed along with the vice president and the other kid in office that has never had a job until the last 4 yrs of nothing but breaking us down..I am not as old as you but I am still able to get around and get things done, going to change my eating habits, and work out more so I will be ready to leave if I have to for the deep woods the deeper ya go the harder it is for them to find ya..Just cannot drive a car or truck u will need to either hike out or learn how to ride horses or mules, no tv’s,just a ham radio, matches, candles, sleeping bags, pills for cleaning water, space blankets, they hold the heat, rope, ax, saw, tarp, freeze dried foods, jerky, amo your guns, bow and arrows,if ya don’t know how to use them learn, sling shots plenty of rocks around or marbles, u will also need to take a small box of ur personal papers, driver’s license, social security,to show who u are when the heat is over, save up silver instead of paper..I would rather live in the woods with big cats and bears than be in prison camp in az run by George and Obama…Have to get ready for they can dig ya out of ur home don’t go to the woods alone though get others that believe in the same as u and don’t tell strangers what you ahve going around u..

Maybe on the forum, but now in some schools teachers can’t even wear a cross or star of David necklace, and my cousin’s son got in trouble at school for wishing another kid Merry Christmas. WTF is this country coming to?

  • Billy February 21, 2013, 3:05 am

What if there more than Two Robbers/Rapists/Murderers/kidnappers/child Molesters/…… ,Joey & what if they aren’t scared of shotgun blasts, Joey? What if there are 30 Perps, Joey? Can you count to 30, Joey?Bet ya can’t spell potato, joey.

  • Jonathan February 21, 2013, 3:03 am

Mr Bin lead by example and have your secret service detail that protects you armed only with shotguns.

    • Mark Are February 21, 2013, 9:38 am

Single shot shotguns…Oh, and give them each a hand grenade from the batch that Eric Holder sent over to Mexico.

    • John W February 21, 2013, 11:48 am

Excellent point Jonathan. We hear them say repeatedly, “What do you need an AR15 (or any other “Assault Rifle”) for?” Meanwhile, their security details are armed with fully automatic weapons. Yet even a semi-automatic weapon should be kept out of OUR hands? And as Joe has pointed out, all we really need is a mere shotgun to ward off attackers. The fact of the matter is; “We the people” cannot overthrow a corrupt/tyrannical govt with shotguns, but we absolutely CAN with semi-auto rifles. THEY KNOW THIS! Infact we should be trying to get the Automatic weapons ban of ’86 repealed. Why? Because our Govt. has full-auto weapons; and if THEY do, so should we. Do not give an inch of ground on ANYTHING more that would weaken the very reason for the 2nd Amendment’s place in our Constitution. Instead of negotiating for “reasonable firearms restrictions”, we should be arming ourselves to the teeth. Not against the criminal element, but against the very real threat of our ever increasingly socialist form of government. They would have us believe that firearms control is for OUR safety. What they’ve conditioned us for, (over the years), is to beleieve that they will protect us. What they don’t know is that we fully comprehend that it is NOT the responsibility of the Government to protect us; the role of our governement is to protect and defend the constitution (As per their sworn oaths) so that “We the people” can defend ourselves. Now is the time for verbal outcries to limit government before they hamstring our ability to say “NO”. Let them know that if they want to strip (or even limit us) of our God-given rights, freedoms, and liberties, (All of which were earned and currently maintained by the blood of true American patriotism), we will NOT make it easy…they will have to fight us for them. “Live free or die”.

      • Jeff February 21, 2013, 2:09 pm

Amen!!!!! Obama is the same as Hitler and Stalin. Wanting to disarm us ( for our safety) Bull#%$t its because the next 4 yrs hes gonna do something really really bad to piss us off only we wont have the arms avail to force a change in the Govt like the 2 nd is written for us.

        • Terri February 21, 2013, 5:37 pm

Hi I would like to say you don’t need a gun if we are disarmed by the next four yrs, there are other ways to get the point across for Obama told Russia that he would have all of us disarmed by 2014 how soon he forgets that most of us can use other things to get stuff done, bow and arrows work wonders, sling shots and rocks or marbles work really well, baseball bats, knives, skillets, iron pipes, but if it was me and they took my guns it would be a bow and arrow for they are so quiet that you don’t hear them coming and now days they are fast and to the point. AS for the Jerk in office Vice President is just following orders from Obama and George Soros, George was with Hitler when he was just 14-15 yrs of age so he knows how to break down a country in a hurry and he Hates America for Killing Hitlers dream..Obama and his crooks are afraid of the American people so they are trying really hard to take all of our amendment rights so we won’t have any rights at all. Did you all ever see the movie Red Dawn? Its going to happen just like that here can anyone of you live without a Tv,Computer, truck or car? I can I can live off the land, all city folks that are stuck in the big cities need to get out and have a back up plan to get away when the heat comes down, u need a old cabin in the woods or a cave where they cannot see you, u have to be able to live off of things without lights, heat, all the good things that most are taking for granted..I was taught at a early age how to do just that, just make sure you have a ham radio, batteries, matches, candles, sleeping bags, freeze dried food, the list is long but its better to be prepared than not.

        • Jack February 23, 2013, 5:07 pm

Right on, but, the list of others like these stretches as far back as mankind. I know you can’t list them all. Your life span isn’t long enough. Keep up telling the fools , maybe some will get smart.

Is the person asking the question Biden’s wife? Sounds like her.

  • ryan February 20, 2013, 9:26 pm

Interestingly enough, that Muslim dude in Kalifornia whom murdered his girlfriend then went on a shooting and carjacking spree using Uncle Joe’s advice – he got himself a shotgun – reminded me of the old SNL skit with Garrett Morris as a death row inmate trying out for the talent show singing “I’ma gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whitey’s I see”.

(sorry folks, I know this is quite insensitive to the murdered folks and their families but I do find it ironic he used a shotgun shortly after Biden said to get one)

ALL THIS GUN CONTROL FOR LAW ABIDING CITIZENS… HOW ABOUT TAKING TO GUNS FROM CRIMINALS INSTEAD OF PEOPLE TRYING TO LEGALLY OWN FIREARMS AND PREVENT LOVED ONES FROM BEING VICTIM TO THESE RUTHLESS CRIMINALS? OH SH!T THAT MEANS WE WOULD STILL BE ALIVE SOMETHING THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT SEEM TO WANT!

    • Skip Plummer February 21, 2013, 4:08 am

Bob… That is just about the dumbest post that I have seen lately. Just how would you go about removing the guns from the criminals? Put an ad in the paper? “ALL CRIMINALS COME IN AND TURN IN YOUR GUNS BY 12 NOON TOMORROW!” By golly… what a great idea! Do you just happen to have a registry of all criminals? Where each one of them lives? Of course you also have a complete registry containing all of the illegal firearms that each criminal owns (because they registered them?). I think not. You don’t have any of the registries mentioned above and neither do the police, FBI or, for that matter, the CIA. If a criminal ever registered his gun, not only would he be arrested but he would remain the laughing stock of criminals everywhere! The government? Just where would you suppose that the government could come by any of the lists outlined above? Do you suppose that there is a list somewhere of every gun that was ever stolen? And who it was that stole it? Of every gun that was ever bought on the black market in every city? The government? Nope. You must be a youngster that doesn’t know very much about this world that you are living in.

      • AR GUY February 21, 2013, 7:20 am

        Skip,
How about continuous police raids on crack houses? The police keep active files on gang members, why not hit them where they live? These gang members actively sell drugs on street corners and the police do nothing.Raid their houses and confiscate the illegal firearms and drugs from them and lock them up! Stop the liberal judges from reducing prison terms because of over crowding, I really dont care if they put 5 inmates to a cell. If there is a problem with space, build prisons in the deserts, it would not only create jobs, it would create more room for prisoners. Bring back chain gangs, make these pieces of garbage work for their room and board. I dont care if its digging holes and filling them in, make them work. No more TV and gyms in prisons, make it a punishment, not a vacation!

      • Ed February 21, 2013, 8:40 am

I belive that was a retorical question there skippy.

      • Mike February 21, 2013, 9:31 am

I think that Bob was being facetious. No need to jump down peoples throats. They could easily call you names for not understanding Bob’s wit.
There are strict gun laws in New York. Stricter than in Chicago. The murder rate this year alone is 3 times heavier in Chicago than in New York? Is it because of the anti gun laws? I don’t think so. I believe it is because there are more severe penalties if you are caught with an illegal gun or commit a crime with a gun in New York.
Up until the 1980’s many, many people drove there cars while intoxicated. Today they still do, but there is a lot less of it. Why? Stricter enforcement of the people breaking the laws and the known penalties for breaking those laws. You can here a lot of people talking about DUI’s and that they lose their license, have to go to classes and have to pay $10,000 – $15,000. Stricter laws and more enforcement of those laws. That is what I believe would work best. Make it “hurt” the criminals to the point that they won’t want to do it.
Stricter gun laws have worked quite a bit with automatic weapons. You do not hear daily shootings with fully automatics. Why is that? People don’t want the trouble associated with getting caught with them. There is a scale to determine if the crime is worth the punishment and if the punishment far outweighs the crime, I believe that most criminals will not commit the crime.
One last bit of brain fodder. England basically has a gun ban and there are not many assaults or killings done with guns, but there sure are a lot of British who have been sliced, stabbed and gutted for their belongings.
Criminals are criminals and need to be stopped. Law abiding citizens are law abiding and should not be punished for what the criminals have done!

        • Muhjesbude February 23, 2013, 10:23 am

Mike. I’ll add a dirty little secret to the difference between New YAAWK and Chi-Town.
Chicago has a street gang problem that is even in a different dimension than LA. Or put another way, the ENTIRE city is one big conglomerate of gang culture, in one form or another with deep community roots. Not unlike the analogy to the sectarian factional nightmare in the middle East. It even transcends the generation gap. Minors in street gangs today have parents who were in the same gangs when they were younger. Nothing like asking Uncle Johnny what to use for the drive-by today, the sawed off shotgun or the bubba’d up full auto Tec-9, and oh,”don’t forget to bring back a couple extra ‘rock’s for Auntie’s pipe tonight?”

Even cops have integrated personal gang connections that compromise and undermine many efforts of effective ‘law enforcement’ from their own ‘upbringing’ in the community. If not actually in overt participation, ‘looking the other way’ and ignoring the problem in terms of proactive patrol, becomes the norm, and a bare modicum of ‘reactionary’ service becomes the ‘serve and protect’ status quo. With one of the ‘oldest’ age of officer large police forces, the prevailing ‘attitude’ is “I’m not racing into a call like an Indy 500 driver just to get in an accident or my ass shot at, i don’t have long to retire, and these ‘animals’ will still be killing themselves long after i’m gone…

Also Chicago always required City residency for the job. It’s difficult to detach oneself to an objective law enforcement perspective when you live in the ‘hood’ yourself, and a lot of your good ‘neighbors’ are or have kids associated with the gang culture. So even if you had strong immediate impact penalties for crimes in a city like this, The ‘enforcement’ part would not rise to support an effective solution.

In other words, out of control mega cities like Chicago simply can’t be fixed, or cured, or changed much anymore at this point in time, outside of making them prisons in and of themselves. They simply are attempted to be managed and ‘contained’ on a day to day ‘tipping-point’ basis. With most big cities running out of money, the street situation is constantly exacerbated, not even well controlled.

But in reality your logic of increased severity of penalties of the most decisive and imminent-no getting out of at all–certainty…would definately have an effect on criminals. Maybe not the mentally ill ones too much, but certainly when the gangs met to disperse drug revenue among themselves and discuss ‘bidnez’ and they noticed a significant lesser number this week than last because the larger balance of ‘troops’ is in jail, I have no doubt they would ‘calm down’ a bit, especially in terms of violence, if it was more likely than not, that they would immediately be caught and punished severely for the action that they used to often get away with. My tac team once proved this in an area. We got tired of the extreme increase in gang nuisance crime which was cutting into our personal on the job entrepreneurial enterprises, not to mention our after hours social life, we declared our own version of ‘martial law’. We declared a summary ass beating to more than two punks walking together at any one time. Then an ‘after dark’ curfew. No punks were allowed on public property after the sun went down. Those captured would be arrested for aggravated mopery. Anybody who made us chase them, would be taken to the ER afterward, and then arrested.(disorderly conduct charge which did not require a next morning court appearance afterward by the arresting officers because they were all just let go anyway by the court bailiff. (This was a normal below radar way of getting drunks off the street, and other ‘disturbed’ people who were likely to hurt themselves or others. But this has now changed. Since they subsequently required a court appearance by officers for ANY arrest, D&D scoop ups virtually disappeared. Unless an officer just wanted to pad his court hours for future time off.)

I know how this sounds to a lot of you, especially LEO’s, but try to understand the reality and different dimensions in time and space… especially back in the days, when police had a ‘different’ kind of ‘power’. So Even the wildest bad-ass eventually gets tired of spending most of the week overnight in jail. So his behavior, at least for the short term was ‘modified’ by our summary ‘discretionary’ law enforcement methods. while sitting on a street corner in the unmarked car one hot Friday evening an old lady surprised us coming up to the car, leaning in the window, and giving us some sandwiches. We asked her what she was doing out on the mean streets after dark… she said, ‘oh, thanks to you guys nobody bothers us too much anymore, I can visit my friend now after she gets home from work…’

Unfortunately, this type of ‘police work’ and the possibility of strict law enforcement will not happen anymore in our lifetimes, even though we don’t even need new laws. There are more than enough on the books already. But they simply will not be in compatibility with the ‘Enforcement’ part of ‘LAW-ENFORCEMENT’. As some of you know, the ‘sentencing’ part of the criminal process is now controlled in Chicago by the actual prison capacity. Cook county jail is so overcrowded that they will be getting to a point where they have to release somebody, before they can put anybody else in. So judges are ‘compromised’ in their execution of swift and certain punishment. Therefore even if the officers make the effort to do arrests and the prosecutors convict, as opposed to plea bargain, there’s still no deterrent because it’s more likely than not that they will not be immediately behavior modified with hard punishment.

Once i asked a judge who was taking one of my classes why the judicial system didn’t somehow bench mandate that the State create more facilities in the concern of ‘public safety’, even if they had to make it some sort of contempt charge on the part of prosecution if they abused plea bargaining or failed to safely incarcerate prisoners for the public safety? After all, judges have almost ‘godlike’ powers when they put on the sacrosanct black robes? He averted my eye-contact and said, ‘it’s much more complicated than That, and all judges are not on the same page anyway. Besides, even if you let them go with a warning, eventually they’ll do it again and get some hard time. So the end result is the same…”

Well, that certainly opened my dumb ass eyes. He certainly edifuckated me in the concept of recidivism. The bottom line is that you are correct, Mike, in all your logic, but unfortunately, it will never matter.

In places like Chicago, with the current ‘management’, no one will ever try to solve the core problem because it will always involve the Race-card. You never heard Al Sharpton mention when lambasting gun violence, that besides the tools of violence, the main problem was that the violence was predominately in minority communites. The reality is that the debate is perpetually and eternally moot. Because you’ll never see a bumper sticker that says: “BAN GANGS, NOT GUNS!”

        • airdale February 26, 2013, 11:49 am

So now Mike, they told us we cannot have automatic guns and it is ok. When they tell us we can’t have semi or singleshots which they want, then turn them in also?

      • Jack February 21, 2013, 6:14 pm

Skip. I think you missed the sarcasm in Bob’s post.

      • pgirish February 23, 2013, 12:37 am

They seem to believe that passing a law will cause it to happen. They should just pass a law against murdering children !!!!!!
Police, who do have “assault weapons”, are not first responders – the citizen/victim is.

      • hillbillybiker February 28, 2013, 1:03 am

Hey Skippy, That registry you’re talking about is called a rap sheet. Any Government official has access to it. All they have to do is check criminal records for anybody who has used a gun in the commision of a crime.

    • wick February 21, 2013, 7:52 am

That’s what they’re tring to do. They just want to redefine the word “criminal” before they start.

      • Steve Lang February 21, 2013, 9:20 am

Haha continuous raids on crack houses? A warrantless search is just as unconstitutional as violating the second amendment… You cant just tell cops to kick down doors and take guns. In fact, thats what those of us who actually understand this issue in some fashion are tryin to AVOID!! And either way
, most crack houses are not stockpiles of criminal weaponry…

  • DLLOrlando February 20, 2013, 9:19 pm

So in a home invasion or violent crime, you should take 2 beers & jump???…
VP Biden’s reasoning & “advice” is laughable on so many levels & almost reckless/dangerous on others.
As a veteran(four years; active duty US Army MP/95B-31B) & a armed professional for nearly twenty-two years(security/first responder/public safety), I can tell a citizen; DO NOT fire into the air at all, do not run around your property or house(flee) because you could just go directly to the violent criminals(felons).
Have a home security plan & know-understand tactics/use of force laws.
Biden’s remarks are just stupid. At least he can’t be re-elected a third time. Sigh…
    DLL
PS: ?: If the AR 5.56 or 6.8x43mm or 7.62mm is so awful for home protection or CQB, then WHY do so many spec ops & SWAT/SRT units still use them 24-07-365?…

    • Josh T February 21, 2013, 7:41 am

  • James February 20, 2013, 8:37 pm

So Joe your going to tell the America people to go buy a shotgun? Your a dum ass!!!! I am free and live in the USA!!! Don’t treat the America people like we are children!!! If you want a shotgun go buy it!!! And if we the people want a gun AR-15 AK, What ever we don’t need you to play daddy to us!!! Leave us alone and the 2 Ammendment!!!

    • Robert White February 21, 2013, 12:39 pm

Well said James, a true gun owners are good people and always obey the law as long it’s does not infringed our rights to own guns including AR-15 Semi-auto with 15 or 30 rds magazine.

    • Eugene February 21, 2013, 2:52 pm

A truly free person doesn’t need permission to bear arms.

      • vince March 3, 2013, 9:56 pm

See that is exactly the point Eugene, the right to bear arms is a god given right OUR govt has neither the right nor the authority to deny us that right. They have already infringed upon our god given to bear arms. A Thompson sub machine gun is a fire arm and i should be allowed to own it without the BATF’s permission. So is an F-16, and Abrams tank, if i should be inclined and able to afford it i should be able to own any weapon the United States Military operates!! Predator drones, B-52’s whatever. I should be able to arm myself with any weapon i want!!

    • Bill In Lexington March 20, 2013, 9:27 pm

I took the hint and bought a shotgun. What with the run on new double-barrel shotguns by Parent’s magazine mommies, I ended up with a used gun instead. It’s a semi-auto and loaded with 3″ shells carrying 0000 buck. Of course, that part about using the first two shells to dig a shallow grave didn’t make a lot of sense to me, so mine holds 8 per magazine. Even after I dig that shallow grave, I’ve got 6 rounds left to help fill it. Thanks, Joe! You’re a swell guy!

  • BUTCH February 20, 2013, 6:40 pm

  • Murphy February 20, 2013, 5:10 pm

Can we impeach Biden for being an idiot?

    • Lilly Hammer February 21, 2013, 11:53 am

If that were the case, that fool would have been gone long ago!

      • JCitizen February 21, 2013, 12:04 pm

Not upholding the Constitution of the United States is an impeachable offense – but ramming that through congress would be difficult at best – but then everyone here already knows that. Thanks for posting! 🙂

        • Jeff February 21, 2013, 2:01 pm

Dont forget our illustrious Prez isnt even legaly allowed to hold office. ( all his documentation was forged and fake!!) That woman from washington State ran his soc sec # and came back inelligable to work in the USA. We have one of the most corrupt goverments in history. I place Osama Bin Hussein Obama in the samecategory as Hitler and Stalin. All GD socialists disarm their citizens first then murder them wholesale. I believe the reason The POS in the WH is doing this is because he is gonna run this country into the ground more so in the next 4 yrs than his 1st 4. He already pulled Fast n Furious trying to use that to blame us law abiding gun owners. What happened to them?? NADA!!! Selling planes and tanks to a country run by a terrorist leader?? NADA happened. Giving Billions to Muslim nations NADA happened. They Impeached Clinton for getting a friggin blow jo but they wont grow enuf nuts to impeach a fake A-hole thats in the WH because for one reason!! Hes black. He is the biggest racist, bogot around, but no one will do anything because of his color. Hes half n half but using the black angle. Like I said Clinton got in deep from a BJ and the current sitting POS has done numerous impeachable offenses. Read the Constitution its all their. Let alone the dumb ass keeps misquoting the 2 nd and his underlings think the 1 st ammd has to do with guns. They are All a bunch of Hippocrites. Were being run by someone who does not believe in the constitution nor its values. • Rick February 23, 2013, 7:42 am

Jeff, very well put. I agree with what you say. He will declare himself KING of Obama Land one of these days. HIs plan is to disarm the citizens of the USA and then all his Bros, and Muslim MF’s will be able to take over the USA. Ain’t going to happen as the citizens of this county will defend our freedom. There are more hunters in the states than in the military, go figure. He does have a plan for the United Nations troops to try to take away our guns. I say Bring it on MF’s . Where is Lee Harvey Oswald now that we need him……

My friend ,this ain’t rambling. It’s the truth, and, some out there should read it and understand it.

Don’t ever say SORRY, when you’re right. Is Obama setting himself to be king, czar, furher, or dictator of this country? Kinda looks like it. He just doesn’t understand one thing. There are about ninty million legal gun owners in this country and I don’t think we are willing to turn over our weapons without a fight. That fight could be in the courts or on the field. Those 4473 forms you fill out are not kept on file with the feds for 20 years as so many people believe. They are kept with the gun dealer for 20 years. So does that mean that in order to get ahold of those 4473 forms the feds would have to have a federal warrant for everyone, and would they have to have a federal warrant to even search a sporting goods store that sells guns? Anyone out there have an answer? Remember lawful search and seizure? I live in the state of NEVADA ( northern Nevada) not that suburb of Los Angeles, and I can say one thing for sure. I have yet to talk to a member of law enforcement that is willing to take our guns away from us. And Obama, don’t ask for help from the military. The latest straw poll stated that by 80% to 20% the military will not obay orders to disarm citizens. I live in a neighborhood with three vets of Iraq and Afganistan. Their major concern is for their families and to protect their neighborhood. I can’t answer for the rest of you, but I’m up to my armpits with Obama doing this and Obama doing that for the good of our country, the only good he’s doing is for himself. As for you Mr. Obama. Look around, because one day in the near future you are going find yourself up to your ears in crap and you’re not going to swim out of it.
In that thundering voice of his at an NRA convention, Charlston Heston said; ” FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS”
            Hows that for rembling?

    • JCitizen February 21, 2013, 12:02 pm

Okay Mr. Vice President – My shotgun has a 20 round drum! Is that sufficient for you Mr. Vice President? ]:)

      • MaryM February 21, 2013, 4:16 pm

So let me get this straight Mr. VP. You can trust a woman to use an AR rifle type in the military and you encourage women to enlist for front line duty. But you do not OK a woman’s right to protect herself and her children in her own home with an AR…Interesting…Interesting.

This man thinks that all women should be up in the club on da pole, or in his lap in the VIP.

        • Larry Wilson February 25, 2013, 12:34 pm

I ove this guy, he and his boss are for women in combat now and he doesn’t think a woman can use an AR-15? That just shows his intelligence for sure. Or lack of anyway!!

      • STUPID February 22, 2013, 3:26 pm

Naw, you need to upgrade that drum to 30 rounds & make sure it at least handles 3″ magnums.

      • chris webb March 12, 2013, 7:25 pm

mine to with a 10 round backup!!

    • vinni February 21, 2013, 8:20 pm

        • hillbillybiker February 28, 2013, 12:47 am

Amen Billy! Coming for my guns will be the two biggest mistakes they’ll ever make. Their first, and their last!

      • Thomas March 16, 2013, 5:56 am

Vinni you are right, demo’s are very sneaky in their ways and taking the AR’s, AK’s, M4’s., M16’s will just be the start to taking all of the firearms, since around the first of the 1900’s, I believe it was President Wilson that had gave a speech and in it he said that it may take 60 years and baby steps at a time but we will become a socialized country, in Romans 13 of the Bible it say’s that rulers are for evil and not for good, may God be help us against these demonic politicians, in the name of Jesus Christ I Pray, Amen!
