This video is from Luke Rudkowski from We Are Change (the guy who made the 911 Loose Change video). He is in Baltimore documenting the Martial Law that is going on there. We have said for some time that it won’t be called Martial Law when the time comes. They know that is a hot button word. But what else is this? Clearly from the video there are no “protestors” or looters in the vicinity, and there are even other LE officers in battle gear. Are you prepared to face the line of shields in your neighborhood? Are you an LE officer or military serviceman who takes your oath seriously? Please, comment below as to your thoughts. Luke is a documented journalist and has been admitted to the halls of the US Congress to interview legislators. This is no joke.
I agree 100 % if it weren’t for money lining not deep pockets we would all be better off. The government was created to serve the people not the people serving government but people that don’t vote or want to find out what is going on in the government till it’s too late then they protest.[ That is your right to do] How ever we have apathetic attitudes and some people don’t think they have to do anything but count on others to do what is right for them at all levels of government local as well as state levels. Were do you think these people come from? Everybody should be more aware of who and what to vote for not the freebies the government offers. There is no free ride everybody pays one way or the other…….Don’t care to learn about who you vote for then don’t complain……..BULLSHIT IS CHEAP…….FIND THE TRUTH……..GOD BLESS THE U.S.A
I think the problem is people’s contempt for people with money and our mostly corrupt politicians. This trickles down and mingles with everything including our relationships with the police. Make politicians pay for their mistakes treat them like ordinary people giving them no more than the rest of us and I think you’ll see things change for the better. Why do you think they want to take away our guns?
Why didn’t they at least attempt to zoom in to the police who were firing? Just like the event itself there is not much to conclude until or unless more evidence comes forward.
I absolutely see nothing. Is this someone (media kid) trying to make a name? Anyway, thats your job.Suck it up!!
bob , I think you are right on target!
I agree as well, I tell you if I really thought I was being shot at I would not run around in small circles like I was in a bad TV show. Doesn’t pass the sniff test.
So typical on this and every gun forum I frequent. Too many apologists for the cops and contempt for the ‘scumbags’. The severity of an unjust death and the horrific way this fellow was treated doesn’t seem to phase conservative types much at all. The guy broke no law (now lets see who pulls up his rap sheet to somehow show what a subhuman he was and how ‘somehow’ he was handled right and how it’s actually his fault), his agony was clear and evident…they didn’t give a flying fcuk and apparently “took him for a ride” (admittedly yet to be proven, but his crushed trachea, crushed vertebrae and 80% severed spinal column are things he didn’t have while being put into the van as evidenced by his ability to cry out in anguish..cant do that with a crushed larynx. The rioting in Baltimore frankly is way overdue, those people have been living with a boot on their necks for too long. The focus isn’t simply the criminal element, there is a practice of cruel and harsh treatment and aggression toward the poor in that city. You want to be sitting on your stoop on a hot summer day and some cop rolls up on you and tells you to get the fcuk up and get back in the house because I told you to…and don’t let me get out of my car and come over there and don’t let me see you outside of it again!.. Do you believe this should be anyones life in their own neighborhood? Anyone? Toward someone that did nothing unlawful? (one example I know of for absolute certainty)..again, I’m not sticking up or protecting no criminal or criminality, I’m talking about regular folk.
Frankly those people in Baltimore are celebrating prematurely and likely going to be disappointed. I don’t know if I believe that those officers will get convicted of murder or manslaughter, if anything I see carelessness (or whatever charge equates to such) being likely all that a jury might convict on, personally I think it was manslaughter but burden of proof and what one can convince a jury of are separate things.
The hyper-aggressive violent and lethal nature of policing has gone too far. Outside of this issue in Baltimore or any of the other race-ladened candidates that don’t garner sympathies in places like these, the increasing idea of the normalizing of arrests being partnered with foul speech, verbal humiliation, the orders to absolutely obey..OBEY and a physical beatdown..why is the ‘normalizing’ of this being tolerated? The ‘piling on’, knees and weight of officer pressed to the head of a subdued ‘perp’, the requirement to with all immediacy abandon all base instinct of preservation of self and turn into a human jellyfish and lay utterly still WHILE being tasered, kicked, punched, joints locked and hyperextended…being hurt and put in excruciating pain, to cry out, to naturally and normally react to being in pain is met with “STOP RESISTING! STOP RESISTING!”… Let me stomp on your head, kick you in your ribs, punch you on in the back of your head, throw vile comments and contemptuous curses at you and let me see if you can find that magic sauce to lying still like a puddle of mud while myself and every other officer that show up on the scene takes his turn on you and for you to do anything other than passively accommodate anything I want to do to you puts you in breech of the law (or we’ll make sure the report says such).. NONE OF THAT has any business being partnered with being arrested! Cuff the fcuker, put him in the paddy wagon, take him to the station, book him, jail him…give him his day in court.. Why the torture chamber that flirts with mimicking the days of the inquisition? ….because….they can and you cannot do a goddam thing about it, that’s why.
Rudely yelled ‘orders’ that are likely not legal order (checkpoints anyone?) failure to give your ID or any information about where you are going, what you are doing, who you are, where you live, why, who, what, where, how tho it is utterly not their business and that you have a fourth and fifth amendment right? Disarming you tho you have breeched no law, and apparently of even more importance than the second coming of the messiah is an officers sense of safety, so you can readily be placed into a position of utter and total submission and defenselessness because the simple fact is you and your priceless life and sovereignty don’t matter as much as the states and its agents. You want to try asserting your rights and insist that you be treated with decency and fairness in NYC or Baltimore when/if you get stopped by law enforcement? Guarantee that you will get your ass kicked on the street, you arrested and at a minimum charged with assaulting that very same officer that just kicked your ass. Be careful about the sense of contempt and indifference some might have for other americans, I’m not talking about criminals, i’m talking about the rest of us multi racial, diverse socio-economic categories of the citizenry because this isn’t singularly happening to blacks, look about, it’s happening to more and more of us. Contempt of cop can get you killed.. Kelly Thomas anyone?
All you ‘murican “Patriot” types that are not badly behaving or tolerant of badly behaving law enforcement or don’t “have friends, relatives, or connections” with someone in Law Enforcement (because few question the base ridiculousness that the ability to get a “pass” is part of being or knowing a cop..all equal under the law eh?) want this method of policing to be the normal? This is what you want to leave for your children? What country in the end are they trying to build? Police departments are incorporating and becoming private corporate entities in some areas, it makes them literally legally unaccountable to the public even tho their task is to police the public. We sit about on gun forums talking all sorts of spiel about “tyranny this, and tyranny that, oppressive government this, keeping my powder dry that”, newsflash!!! It aint the Federal that is laying hands on you…yet..it’s state, county and local. How is something like this not despotic and moving in the direction of tryrannic, absolutist, totalitarian oppression of all of us and in the most fundamental sense against everything and every reason why this nation was formed in the first place? Read those Enlightenment philosophe’s and thinkers that were the inspiration for the very declaration of independence, the constitution, questions posed, debated and answered in the Federalist papers; the very idea of individual freedom and liberty and the right to such by your person, the sovereign citizen, the obligation of the state and the law to render careful consideration to every individuals humanity, the social contract, the spirit of the law, treatise of Human Nature ; read Locke, Voltaire, Kant, Montesquieu, Newton, Bacon, Hume, Rousseau, Franklin (yes..Ben hisself). Do you really and truly understand what movement occurred that spurred the declaration and creation of this nation…that underpins the founding of this nation? and how now being engaged with an officer of the state freezes all of that. We muse about how our rights are being stripped…your damned right they are and when vile things like this fellas killing at the hands of the state occurs, we at best are indifferent and at worse couldn’t give a flying fudge, but couldn’t waste a second or burn enough fuel driving two days straight with no sleep to go to the Bundy ranch to stand tall in support and against the bullies of the BLM in solidarity and with long guns at the low ready..and this fella was actually disobeying the law (tho I agree with his disobeying of it).
That fella was illegally arrested, they had no business arresting him, searching his person, detaining him or brutalizing him…NONE, his prior rep sheet and all. This isn’t 17th century France or Prussia
We readily talk about the erosion of our rights, in the hands on sense, who exactly is it that will deny us access and utilization of our freedoms and rights if/when that day comes? Is it not law enforcement officers? The lawmakers and judges will be sitting in their castles dictating policy and passing judgement but the ones laying hands upon you, your children and your grandchildren, putting boots on necks, kicking your teeth in for mouthing off, shooting you dead for failure to OBEY!!! WILL be the police officers following orders in utter disregard for your rights, their orders ALWAYS trump your rights..should it?…They are doing it now, don’t dare believe that they won’t when it really counts, because they don’t when it really doesn’t count. The ones kidnapping your sovereign selves, laying hands on your person, and property and depriving you of the exercise of ownership of both will be police officers, not the navy, not the marines, not the cripts, ms13, black guerrilla family, white-supremists, or vatos-locos (heard that in a song once…sounded cool).
Do natural, civil, human inherent, assumed and articulated rights belong to all or doesn’t it? Unfortunately, blacks in America don’t quite understand that these need to be fought for, taken back and assertively retained “by any means necessary”… they unfortunately IMO are too busy getting caught up in marching and silly looting as the primary tools which has left the balance of power still resting in the hands of those that don’t much care about them any… I’ve said it before, why would a Wolf give liberty to a sheep? Those sheep haven’t learned to or else have not taken enough power to set their firm terms.. too busy being locked up I and forever disenfranchised I suppose. It literally took acts (plural) of God to free the Israelites from the Egyptians, A violent uprising for the Haitians to throw off the shackles of the French, and a civil-war here at home to end that despicable institution and even then all these years later there is still debate if it was about states rights or freedom for all..so for some that answer isn’t clear.. There is the letter of the law, but truth is that freedom is taken
The time is now.
The root of the Freddie Gray case is that the police (apparently) did not have probable cause to arrest him in the first place. I’m former military myself and I understand the concept of enemy nullification. (rapid, overwhelming force) But, deciding who is the enemy and who isn’t was a hard lesson to learn in Vietnam and I’m sure it plagues law enforcement today. In this case, I think the police wrongfully identified their target as a threat and the result is tragic and deserves a thorough and vigorous legal review.
Unfortunately, Al Sharpton-type race industrialists and the news media aggravate these situations for their own reasons. They are all using a really sad situation to sell something. (Donations or commercial time.)
We need to support our individual LEO’s. They do a tough job that most of us wouldn’t. Part of that support is holding them accountable for the use of power that we grant them. I want them to come when called and I count on their training, leadership, and common sense to respond correctly.
This whole situation is very sad. It didn’t have to happen. Once started, it was fueled by more than honest outrage. We need to look at that closely, learn something, and do better next time.
Mr. Magnum just because something is law doesn’t necessarily make it right there are a lot of laws that are wrong. ie NY’s UnSAFE act.
Well if the Police are shooting at YOU” Including Journalist” >>> GO Home ” Obey The Law Period” . If ya don’t Like the Law” Move Your Behind To Some other part of the World >>> BY” Go” >>>> You Will Obey The Law One Way Or Another ! I’m Not LEO ” OR Military ” I’m an American That Obeys the Laws Of United States Of America for Which I Live Under As” A Normal Human Being Period . And I don’t want to here Nothing back from Any of you , that disagree with my thought’s ” , cause You will Get” 0 pity from Me ! You Journalists are creating Your Own Problems ! Curfew Time Mean’s JUST That ” Wrap it up and Go Home !…. Enough said here !
It’s fairly dark. The cops have had rocks and malatoff cocktails thrown at them and some have had shots fired at them, so I expect they are very antsy. The journalists should be wearing something bright that identifies them. Maybe they would not get shot at then, when they point their cameras in the semi-dark. On the other hand, journalists in a battle zone should be much more careful and shoot their videos from behind the lines and in cooperation with them. Journalists who ignore that advice can end up dead.
Sometimes the sheeple still have the power to amaze me.
If they’re are shooting at you then stop being a fucking idiot camera whore and get out.Someone said something like “they know we are cameramen” yeah, and so is everybody else there!!!why don’t you fucking idiots wear something that the police can visually see like white or a fluorescent vest, jacket etc….with your news station name on it??? Instead of dressing in BLACK like the rest of the stupid fucking THUGS plus your in a dark area assholes and the police are about 70 yards away DUH!!!!!…wouldn’t that make sense.I hate to think that you all have a wasted money on a college education.THINK!!!
That is why they turn around, to show you that there are no hostiles in the vicinity. Pretty soon it is going to be you on the other side. Remember what you said, when you didn’t stand up and use your head.
” there are no hostiles in the vicinity”…why, then, are these ‘journalists’ there? And, if your readers are going to be ‘on the other side’ at some point in the future, what side are you on, now, Administrator? Please elaborate because if this is another pro-gun, anti-police site–as much as I love guns– that spells anarchy to me and I’m done here.
I reserve judgement on the efficacy of police shooting journalists with cs/paint balls until some obvious questions are answered. Journalists are free to choose (within limits of course) where to cover events from. They can film from behind police lines. They can shoot from protester side, or from the flanks. There are no protesters, so why did they choose the side opposite the cops? Was a curfew in place and if so, did it include the media? Had these folks been ordered to leave the area? This has all the earmarks of a deliberate attempt to defame the police. The only thing journalists have a duty and therefore a right to do is to report the news objectively. They do not have the authority or right to disregard police directives or break the law–event to get a story. This all seems so juvenile. Too bad the shooters were not better shots. Those pepper balls hurt. Just ask the police: as part of training, they have to get shot with them. Looks to me like these ‘journalists’ needed some training.
I spent a life time as a LEO. The media thinks they are “special” and the rules for everybody do NOT apply to
them. Do you Really think there would have been all those “protesters, A.K.A. THUGS” if all those cameras
were not present? Should they have shot at the media ? hard to tell just from this one snippet of video
. Did I enjoy watching this video? Absolutely !!
The very nature of various occupations means that you most likely will be placed in harms way and you prepare for this with training, procedures, and courage. This particular journalist does not fall into this category. He chose to put himself in a situation that was risky and an extremely stressful environment. I could care less what his name is, credentials are, and places he has had access to in the past. Do you think those Baltimore cops stand around with some list that names all those from the press and has a picture of each press member? Not an ounce of sympathy here!
Clearly the Storm troopers, and rioters alike(not the protesters, the ignorant ones causing the ruckus) want the cameras gone so they can fight a stupid fight, and accomplish nothing.
I agree with D Hicks comment. True conservatives are just as outraged and angry over the the police conduct across this country. They are killing people everyday both white and black. The police have been allowed to develope a sense of entitlement and believe that they are no longer accountable to the citizens and they are sworn to serve and protect. Why is a law enforcement officers life any more or less valuable than a citizens life? Everyone in this country should be equal under the law. The root of this whole problem lies in this war on drugs that has become a war on our rights and liberties. Don’t even get me started on civil forfeiture, for profit prisons, and all the other abuses of our basic rights and liberties. Most people have no idea just what was given away when the patriot act was signed into law. True conservatism is about freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and is not concerned about color of skin and ethnic heritage. You better wake up and realize that when one persons freedom and rights are attcked, it is a threat on everyone’s freedom and rights. The two parties we have in Washington right now are just the same when the TV cameras are off and are they not concerned about issues of freedom and liberty or anything else of real importance domestically.
Well said, sir. “Patriot” Act, my ass.
The truth is that the Police ARE being used as “pawns” and fed misinformation that make them fearful and aggressive of those who oppose the “unlawful” conduct by those officers who are themselves, by definition, acting as “outlaws”. Many officers that I have personally met seem to actually have NO real understanding of the Constitution [if not understood what good does/can an oath do]. They seem to just do what they are told and continue to enforce “color-of-law” NOT “law”. The “law” is there for those who work for the government in order to keep our government in check; it is NOT there for the people. Officers have pressure to arrest the “violators” of NOT law in order to get a “convection” [of “NOT “law”] in the court so that the case may be capitalized for big-bucks in the “market” [prisons are likewise “big-buck” generators]. This is why our courts, jails and prisons are packed not an epidemic of crime.
The reason we see so many “plea-bargains” is that ALL they need to do to securitize the case is to get a plea so they will just drop most of the charges and still collect. I have been in court and have both heard and seen police officers lie on the stand [“testilying” the police call it among themselves]. The officers have a tremendous pressure upon them to perform, i.e., create a case that can generate another plea-bargain win for the court and the prisons and more big-bucks for the system.
I think that there are probably a lot of really good officers out there who would like to do the job of a “peace-officer” for their community and the people and not a “law-enforcement officer” to just provide fodder to generate the big-bucks for the “unlawful” court system. When they see what is actually required of them they are left with few choices; they may resign, turn a blind-eye or join the corruption. And then there is the recent case where an applicant was refused a job because he was too intelligent. We want even go into the fact that the courts are NOT proper courts of law at all but actually just collection agencies …and those courts are NOT about the “law” but actually about the “contract”. The only way they have real control over anyone is that the defendant actually accepts the courts offered CONTRACT without even knowing they have agreed to do so.
…but that is better left for another day.
Thanks Murrey Gropp, I agree with your comment also.
It’s nice to see the sheep of America falling into my plan.
Dress up in black, point things at LEO, scurry around taking cover and continue to aim at cops….What the hell did you expect. Just lucky they were rubber pellets.
Her the hell behind the police lines not out in front, fool!
I’m sure I’ll take a lot of flak for this but it needs to be said, so here goes…
As a former Marine I took an oath to uphold & defend the Constitution of the US from all enemies, foreign and domestic. I did no such thing as an LEO (as an aside, look up Bowers v DeVito, 1982, 7th Circuit, Supreme Court upheld), I swore an oath to uphold the laws of my state & that I didn’t bribe anyone for the job, but apparently a lot of people have the misconception we did so I’ll bite.
The oath is to defend the Constitution. Not to defend what you think is should be, or what it was yesterday, or what you want it to be, but what it is. Sorry, but that’s how it is. I don’t always like it & the day it conflicts with me being able to make peace with God then I’m out but until then myself & most other honest LEO’s deal with it & do what we can to make our communities better.
You know who controls the constitution we have to defend?
The politicians.
So let’s get them out of office.
This type of “civil disobedience” doesn’t help me, it sure as heck doesn’t support your cause, & all it does it give the bad politicians fuel to do what they’ve wanted all along. Sure some of us local LEO’s get thrown under the bus along the way, but that’s collateral damage. It’s a small price to pay to achieve their endgame.
So think about that & please, I’ll work with you if you work with me. Don’t make my job harder than it already is.
This man is a true patriot and thank you for your service sir. I have to agree with him about the politicians they tell the uninformed what the want to hear free everything and that brings in the votes. If you were promised a free life when you don’t have to work for a living and the government takes care of you, who would you vote for? There is no such thing as free somebody has to pay the price. So keep working millions on welfare depend on you.
Thank you for your kind words sir.
I have lived in bad neighborhoods with blacks and whites so I can attest to what’s happening today I lived through to rioting in 68. There are good blacks as well as whites. Lets get that out of the way first but the police deal with the sum and it’s getting worse. The low life are growing in numbers as well as stress on L.E people I run a gun shop and I deal with L.E people I know the stress they go through. The news people don’t live their lives like the L.E. people do They are stressed more then you think .Their lives are on the line every day it’s like a battle they can’t win and that is frustrating. The courts leave criminals loose everyday and guess what they blame it all on bad up bringing…..I think they were shot at using Pepper balls to contain the crowd news people included. The news people show what they want and not the truth to sell news papers . the truth is harsh reality. Lets see the looters arrested and the people the start the riots arrested as well. Lets take care of business and take out the garbage and we will all be better off.
I wanted to write scum not sum
The video has no sound and it’s not clear whats happening, Doesn’t look like the fall of Baltimore to me.We all should stand for right and wrong. The enemy is not at the gate , its inside.
it does have sound. Turn your sound on.
Checked my speakers and plug-ins No sound.
I have no problems with the sound. You need to check your work D Hicks.
It’s about time. Good hunting to the PD, NG etc. put a bounty on the Bias, whining and corrupt media. They spew partisan, one-sided crap from their close little minds. Maybe Michael Moore will make a movie to document THEIR suffering. Show the felonious behavior of the entitled, selfish rioters and not the PD having to defend themselves from gangsters, drug dealers and thieves violating the law. I don’t want to hear that Black vs. white crap. It’s getting pretty old. They’re burning and destroying their own neighborhood and people’s property. How about Good vs. evil or Right vs. wrong. I applaud the PD shooting at the press. With the rap they’re getting in Baltimore, it’s only self defense. Just my $0.02.
Really? You are OK with the police shooting journalists because you don’t like that journalists are biased? That’s an un-American and even fascist viewpoint, which I urge you to reconsider. Even just thinking about what’s good for you, how long would you expect such a situation to limit itself to the shooting of people with whom you disagree?
It’s one thing for them to have to defend themselves against thugs, but journalists are no threat to these police whatsoever.. So you can gtfo with your “self defense” pro-nazi bs.. It’s obvious that there were no violent or even criminal intentions by anyone in this video, yet your ok with them being shot at.. YOU’RE part of the problem in this country today
Even though I think that your comment, “but journalists are no threat to these police whatsoever,” is debatable, I still cannot support them being fired upon…UNLESS they’ye ignored orders to disperse, in which case they become part of the mob. I’d like to see a longer clip before passing judgement. Too often recently have we been fed snippets of information which when looked at alone, make a person or group’s behavior appear reprehensible, but when shown as part of a larger story make that behavior appear justified. I simply do not trust our news media anymore.
Paul you are so mentally challenged.
What you call good hunting for the P.D. We call the kidnapping and murder of an innocent man.
Even the Baltimore DA agrees and have charged all 6 wicked murders with badges.
The real problem is cowardly law enforcement who help conceal the crimes of their fellow cops.
I am Pro Cop, but We are not Pro Corrupt Cops. A badge doesn’t give someone the right to kidnap, rape, or murder.
American Citizens with badges should be held to a higher standard. If not the next dirty cop victim may be one of yours.
