As with everything, choosing a cartridge for suppressed hunting is full of good, better, and best options. 375 Raptor is the cartridge that I would place in the “best” category.

The Trek-22 is just a stock, not a firearm. To complete the system, you need to remove a Ruger 10/22 from its factory stock and place it within the Trek-22. Once installed, you have converted your Ruger 10/22 to a bullpup!

Today I’m covering their Terrapin X rangefinder, which a few of you may have heard about because it launched in 2018. From what I know, this rangefinder is currently Vectronix’s only item marketed to civilians. In my never-ending search for the perfect optic to pair with a lightweight, long-range hunting rifle, Vortex Optics’ Razor HD LHT piqued my interest with its impressive feature set to weight ratio. How well does it perform in the field though? I’ve put the new 4.5-22×50 MOA model through extensive testing and am here to answer that exact question.

This new offering is basically their MPR chassis rifle shrunken down to a barrel length of 7.5-12.5″ depending on caliber. The Taurus TX 22 Competition entered the rimfire pistol market earlier this year and is making some big waves. This 22 LR handgun is a more affordable option for an optics ready, suppressor compatible rimfire pistol that has proved itself through the months since its release to be extremely accurate, reliable, and ergonomic. What ISN’T there to like about it?

When 6 ARC was announced by Hornady, I was among the many that were extremely excited and chomping at the bit to test it out for myself. My options for getting an AR15 in 6 ARC were to build one for myself with scavenged components, to buy a complete rifle, or to get a completed upper.
