As a retired naval officer I would consider any effort to confiscate privately owned firearms as an Unlawful Order. I would expect most military officers agree. The last time the U.S. Armed Forces in mass was under Abraham Lincoln resulting in hundreds of thousands dead and the economic crisis for a century. As far as the threat of huge taxes on guns and magazines I suspect the States may have a bit to say about. Each individual State is supposed to be sovereign territory and was so until April 9, 1865 at a place called Appomattox.
AMEN Brother! You know, New England voted on secession back in about 1803 I think it was. The president then bitterly opposed it but stood four square on the principle that Constitutionally, those states had every right to do so if the vote approved it.

Look back at Katrina. How many people piled into that stadium and sat about demanding the government do something then just sat around waiting for them to do it. I rather suspect most of the people reading this did NOT vote for the crap. The biggest problem conservatives have is not those voting FOR the gun control crowd, it’s the many sitting home on their duffs instead of getting out and voting against it!
