Fox got it right with the small-bore Fox, the smallest, most well-proportioned, most reliable of all the vintage American double shotguns. The gun presented here for sale, sn302862 made in 1928, has 96% original case color thinning on the bottom carry point, perfect screws and mechanics, 99% factory blue, 99% factory charcoal blue on the trigger guard, 99% factory finish on the well figured factory wood, perfect factory flat top checkering, and matches the factory order card as shown in the photos. With 28” number 4 weight barrels choked M/F, excellent bores, tight ribs, barrels tight on hinge pin and breech face, and ejectors, this gun has all the most desirable features and excellent mechanics and top lever that is well right of center.
