JAW DROPPING!! An EXTRAORDINARY - Super rare (1 of 1,300) Chinese Marked Astra Model 900 Pistol!! 99%+ COND! Simply AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!
Attention: World Class Collectors
In 99% mint factory original condition, we have an EXTREMELY DESIARABLE and sought after Chinese Marked Astra Model 900 Pistol.
This is one of the finest examples you'll see of a scarce Astra 900 that was exported to China as part of a small contract order.
This pistol is part of a Chinese contract of 1,300 pistols and is marked with Chinese characters that translate to “Made in Spain“.
These pistols were sold in Shanghai by the Astra-China Company Limited to Any Chinese Warlord who could pay. Many pistols in this serial range were Seized by the Spanish Nationalist Government in 1937 prior to the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War. Most of these seized pistols were not actually issued but were sold to Interarms in the early 1960’s. Although we have examined Chinese marked Pistols that were issued in both a Chinese and Japanese Army Officer context over the years the mint condition of this example would likely indicate it was one of the never issued pistols that came over to America through Interarms.
These Chinese Contract pistols are seen by many collectors to be the most desirable & coveted of all the "Broom Handle" variations, and one in this mint crisp condition will be irresistible to the premier collector.
