 Attention: WORLD CLASS COLLECTORS!!

If you have ever wanted to own an amazing Colt 1911 that has a direct link to JFK and some of the most important & historic events in American history...

THIS IS FOR YOU!!

This 1961 Colt National Match .45ACP is a phenomenal example in its own right. BUT the connection to JFK really catapults this GEM into a different stratosphere!

As the Colt Factory letter states this amazing Factory inscribed Colt was sent directly from the Colt Factory to Mr. Carl R. Bowman of the BUDGET OFFICE on June 21 1961. Along with the Factory letter, this GEM includes a briefing document on who and what Mr. Bowman did and his direct link to JFK. This document is picture number #5.

The included Colt factory letter confirms the serial number, barrel length, factory inscription, and date of shipment as June 21, 1961.

The pistol features low profile Patridge blade front and fully adjustable rear notch sights, serrated slide catch, magazine release, and thumb safety, serrated adjustable aluminum trigger, serrated fore strap, flat serrated mainspring housing (noted as a special feature in the letter), and a short spur checkered hammer.

The right side of the slide is factory inscribed "HIGH CIVILIAN/NATIONAL TROPHY INDIVIDUAL PISTOL MATCH/1961".

Fitted with checkered grips with inset gold Colt medallions.

The top shooter of the 1961 Civilian National Trophy Individual Pistol Match competition was Charles E. Hery with a score of 283.

This is truly one of the most exciting Colt 1911s to hit the market!
