For sale is a Remington UMC 1911 made in 1919. This Remington is a unique 1911. It was issued the year after WW1. At some point after the issuance it was turned back in to the Armies storage armory. This particular gun was sent to the Augusta Armory (AA stamped on the frame) for refurbishment. The slide has all the proper markings from the armory. The slide, barrel, and frame were assembled and put into storage. The barrel has the proper marking P on top of the barrel. The grips are not the original but replacements.
