I have seen quite similar videos by several idiots who shot appliances loaded with explosives oriented with the door directly towards the shooter/camera man. Similar results- They create a situation where the flying doors are aimed right at themselves. The door is the weak point for the gasses to vent, hinges let go and viola! Door heads right towards dumbass.
First one I saw years ago, it was a dryer with tannerite inside the drum. That door actually HIT the video camera, ending video in “blue screen of death” camera’s memory (tape?) was apparently intact after.
Daniel’s instructions tell the user not to do that with his product… maybe they should listen?
As far as this being fake? No, that’s what HE throwing metal really behaves like. The Hollywood BS most people picture in their heads where there is time to duck an explosion or bullet is the fake. I know, I have to do it the unrealistic way demanded by artistic directors so that the spectacle lasts long enough for their audience to appreciate it.
