Description: Up for sale is a highly sought after .243 Weatherby Southgate Mauser Giffen & Howe Custom with Mesquite wood. This collectible rifle is beautiful and comes with factory inlays and custom checkering "not aftermarket". The rifle also features a gold plated engraved floor plate with a whitetail deer and initials "DA" on the trigger guard. It features a highly figured Mesquite stock with ebony grip cap and fore-end tip. The Weatherby recoil pad is original and is in excellent condition. The bolt shank and follower are jeweled. The rifle has been re-barreled by Griffen & Howe in .243 Winchester and sports a #2-27" barrel. The rifle is graded at 99.9% because it is not new. The trigger and safety work properly, however the floor-plate release works properly it is tight because of the gold plating. Scope and scope rings are not included. The rifle is stored in a safe and it is in a smoke free environment. The buyer will require an FFL holder where the rifle is to be shipped. Payment with Money Order is required, no Credit Cards.
