From a mid-west sale, a 1898 US Springfield Krag Saddle Ring Carbine 30 Army (30/40 Krag) Cal. . The stock is solid with not chips or deep craks (see photo). The 22" barrel is royal blue and there are traces of color case on the receiver. The action functions butter smooth. The barrel of the rife has been replaced or modified with a modern adjustable rear and front sight (see photos).
