Many of these rugged rifles are found well used and damaged from their time pushing through dense cover, however this example is in 99% condition showing all original factory finishes, handsome straight grain furniture with some figure and excellent sharp checkering, and Monte Carlo comb. This Model 7400 features Remington’s ‘Enhanced Receiver Engraving’ depicting elk and big horn sheep surrounded by scrolls. The rifle is chambered for the short action Winchester .243 cartridge, a soft shooting and accurate round and a favorite throughout America. The 22” barrel has a mirror bore while the receiver is pre tapped for a scope mount. This outstanding example is supplied with its original shipping box. Thanks for looking!
