This is a WUM-1 that was made in GERMANY as a prototype for the Romanian WUM-1 of later manufacture. It arrived at SARCO with perhaps the worst thumbhole stock ever made, simply a wood blank with a grip and a hole drilled through it. There was no way you could actually hold it to fire. I replaced that awful rear stock with this take off from a Romanian parts kit, and it fits perfectly. I then added a Kalinka low scope mount and a Simmons 3-9x50 variable scope with a dual X reticle. I added a Switchview lever to the scope power adjustment ring for fast power adjustment. I removed the factory spring loaded butt plate and replaced it with a UTG 2 inch butt pad extender, which fits perfectly. I will include the original butt plate mechanism with the gun. Finally I installed an ATI raised cheek piece for perfect cheek weld when using a scope. I did not change anything with the trigger because this rifle has the best trigger I have ever come across in a semi-auto battle type rifle. It is an extremely crisp 1 stage trigger. I also added a Tapco muzzle break and a recoil buffer. I will include 1-20 round mag and 4-30 round mags, all made in Germany; and the Blackhawk rifle case shown in the pic. The rifle has only about 200 rounds fired through it. I took it to the range to sight in the scope, and took it to Boomershoot a couple of years ago for the rapid fire stage.
