Photos show only a handful of genuine factory Star Magazines for the Model 28 and Model 30 series of pistols. These came to the United States from the Mishteret Y’Israel, the Israeli Civilian Police in Jerusalem District. Condition is Very Good, with only moderate contact whitening from insertion and ejection. None of the date codes on the parent batch of pistols were higher than J 2, 1990 manufacture, and none earlier than B 2, 1982. All of them, then, are pre-ban. All of these are entirely constructed of steel; blue steel bodies with white steel followers. Capacity is 15 rounds of 9mm Luger / Parabellum ammunition. 15 Round scoring is visible on the magazines’ right side, and the magazine safety shelf is visible as well. We only had a few of these with a sizeable batch of pistols, so we removed the magazine safeties on all our guns and installed Mec-Gar magazines for Smith & Wesson 5900 type, which work just fine; and that is what we recommend our distinguished shoppers to do if they want to save some money and have a magazine as good as, or better than, the original Star Factory ones like these. Factory Smith & Wesson 5900 magazines will require some fitting to their slots; that fact reaffirms our faith in Mec-Gar Magazines; the Mec-Gars are made on Euro metric machinery just like the Stars. Factory S&W 5900 mags work fine on Asian guns like the Daewoo DP-51s, but not on the Stars without fitting them. If, however, the magazine safety is important to the individual owner, and if factory-ness is important – and we do consider Star Pistols all to be eminently collectable – we’re offering these in very limited quantities, each for only $ 49.00. Not for sale to civilian buyers in California, Chicago, Massachusetts, or New York City. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
