The overall length of the rifle is 45.75" This rifle has a 29" octagon shaped barrel. The outside of the barrel and stock are in excellent shape. There are a few minor dings. The inside of the barrel is in very good shape. The barrel is blued. The trigger guard, side plates, and hammer are case hardened. The barrel has a cross stamped at the bottom of the barrel underneath the stock (see photo). Serial No. 5687. I asked Thompson Center Arms how many lands & grooves this rifle has and what is the twist rate? This is their reply: Thompson/Center 1:39pm Nov 8 Hi Thomas, Thanks for contacting T/C.
