**THIS AUCTION IS FOR 100 ROUNDS of Federal Lake City Orange Tip Tracers 5.56 56Gr M856 A1 5.56x45 Nato Ammunition consists of 100 rounds new enhanced A1 tracers with new solid copper projectiles weighing in at 56 grains.
**The Federal Lake City 5.56x45 Nato Tracers are designed to shoot at the same point of impact as the M855 A1 Enhanced Penetrator Round and is accurate as a standard load. At 600 metres, 95 % of the rounds fall into a 20 x 20 cm square. The main uses of tracer ammunition is for observation of fire, incendiary effect, and signaling. Shooters should avoid long-term use of 100 percent tracer rounds, as this could cause deposits of incendiary material and chemical compounds that could damage the barrel. When tracer rounds are fired, they should be mixed with ball ammunition (XM855) in a ratio of no greater than one-to-one with a preferred ratio of three or four ball rounds to one tracer round.
**This ammo is brand new production (2014), NATO stamped brass ammo
that features a 56 grain FMJ bullet. Very valuable high quality mil-spec NATO headstamped brass leftover for reloading or scraping. (Let me know if you want more and how many, and I will give you a reduced price for additional rounds and shipping.)
**M856A1 5.56mm Federal Lake City ammo features brass cases, boxer primers, and sealed primer and projectile. This ammunition is non-corrosive.

**This is made by the famous Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. The 5.56x45mm M856 A1 56 Grain Orange Tipped Copper Tracer Mil-Spec ammunition was designed for combat use and provides a visible red light signature through its trajectory. Works fantastic in AR15, semi-autos, and bolt action. This is the same ammo our military uses.
