This was a U.S. military contract gun; receiver is "U.S." marked with inspectors stamps and Ordnance Department “flaming bomb” acceptance stamp. Condition: A solid representative example of a Savage Arms-produced, WWII Thompson SMG. There is some minor pitting underneath the parkerizing, indicating arsenal re-parkerized (see photos).
