This two knife set, consisting of a small skinner and small bird/game knife are in excellent like new condition. The laminated handles are perfect; the blades have NEVER been used or sharpened. The sheath is perfect but shows slight marks from 31 years of storage. This set was purchased from Melvin in 1990 at the Sturgis 50th Anniversary Rally and put into the safe and remained there until now. The D2 (Melvin Called It Silver Steel) he used will last through multiple game animals before it needs to be sharpened because of his heat treating process. Each knife is marked "DUNN". The back of the double brown leather sheath is marked: "MELVIN V DUNN 'MAKER' ROSSVILLE, KS". Melvin's knives were made to be used, not sitting in a safe like these were.
