It is in immaculate condition (walnut wood and bluing) with no marks, dings, or scratches anywhere. It states "Thompson Center Custom Shop" on the barrel. It is a medium to heavy weight 26" barrel and includes a weaver-style one-piece scope base. I purchased Encore rifle new and my father ordered the barrel from Thompson Center Custom Shop in the mid-1990's shortly before he passed away; consequently it has been fired very little (20 rounds or less).
