It has been refined and enhanced by Taurus to surpass the original. Most notable on the Taurus PT92 AF is the innovation of a three position frame mounted ambidextrous safety which allows this gun to be carried in classic double action - cocked and locked - mode, as well as functioning as a double action decocking lever. This particular Taurus comes from a decade of service in the Land of Israel with the Mishteret Y’Israel, the Israeli Civilian Police in the Jerusalem District. From its TML-TOK prefix Serial Number Range, it was manufactured in 1993 or 1994. Importer marking for PW Arms Redmond, WA, is on the left side of the slide beneath Taurus Int. Mfg. marking. Surface detractions are only moderate amounts of holster contact surface whitening, mostly on the edges.
