Here we have a pretty Spanish made revolver. Very much a copy of the Smith & Wesson ‘Lemon Squeezer’ series of weapons, this excellently made copy has inlayed gold motifs and Mother of Pearl grips. Imitation is the highest form of flattery and indeed this is a wonderful example of the auto ejecting models that made Smith and Wesson a household name. This whimsical example would be a great talking piece or coffee table objet-de-art. Fully engraved models have been known to fetch thousands of dollars at , this fine example illustrates the careful craftsmanship that went into those super deluxe guns at a fraction of the cost. This Model is unusual in that its frame release button is like that on Smith & Wessons 1st Model, while having a pinned frame. Internally the gun has a good bore with good rifling but the cylinder pal and stop are malfunctioning making this an ideal choice for a project gun or simply as a talking piece. This revolver has a modern hardwood case which is a semi fit for this gun. Thanks for looking!
