The M&P Bodyguard 38 is a compact, hammerless double-action-only revolver with an integrated Crimson Trace red laser sight. It is built on an aluminum-alloy upper frame with a stainless-steel barrel and a PVD-coated stainless-steel cylinder and ships with a gray polymer grip and ambidextrous cylinder release. Chambered for .38 S&W Special +P, the revolver has a short 1.9 in (4.8 cm) barrel, a five-round cylinder and an overall length of 6.6 in (16.8 cm). Sights are a pinned/black ramp front with an integral rear, and the factory-equipped laser offers user-adjustable windage and elevation.
