It uses a short-recoil, falling locking block action with an exposed hammer and double/single-action trigger system. The standard full-size 92 FS configuration features a 4.9 in (125 mm) barrel, overall length of 8.5 in (217 mm) and a staggered 15-round magazine capacity.
