The Ultimate Version of the Taurus G3
The Taurus G3 is the next evolution of full-sized personal protection pistols from the Brazilian manufacturer. Like the G2 and G2C before it, the G3 is an excellent choice for the legally-armed citizen. The Taurus G3 is packed with features that make this pistol a snap to shoot and effortless to carry. With an ergonomic grip, the G3 is easy to control. This is a single-action striker-fired pistol with a restrike capability. Should a round fail to fire the first time, you have the option of pulling the trigger again to get a second strike. It's the perfect gun for personal defense, but also a great option for home protection. Now, Taurus is proud to release their first factory custom variant of the G3 in the form of the G3 Tactical. To create the ultimate pistol, Taurus added a number of new features. First, the barrel has been extended to 4.5" and threaded 1/2x28 to accept the optional addition of a suppressor or muzzle device. Next, this is a T.O.R.O. model, which stands for Taurus Optics Ready Option, and allows you to add a variety of popular red dot sights. Four mounting plates are included to fit red dots using many of the most popular optics footprints. Additionally, a set of suppressor height sights allow you to see over many suppressors so you can still maintain a usable sight picture. A custom frame and slide finish ties the whole package together to deliver a tactical look to go along with the tactical features.
