You are bidding on a customized Mosin-Nagant model 91/30, manufactured in 1938 from the Tula factory. This rifle was purchased in 2015 and was modified by a local gunsmith to include the following modifications:
Barrel shortened to 24" length and re-crowned to 11 degree target crown
Bolt modified with welded swept handle and threaded to accept aftermarket bolt handle
Rock Solid Industries scope mount installed
Trigger control group polished and hammer spring replaced with Finnish model Mosin-Nagant spring (reduced trigger pull and reduced over-travel)
Receiver, barrel, scope mount dura-coated in aluminum matte
Rifled action pillar bedded in ATI composite stock
This is a very nice, very good shooting rifle, but it is far too large for what I can reasonably use it for in my area, so it is being put up for sale so I can funnel the funds into other projects.
I have a low reserve price on this rifle. Far less than you would expect for a customized rifle of this type. I have other projects to fund and would like to sell this rifle ASAP. Thank you for looking.
