Trapdoor Carbine

Early Navy Arms Trapdoor saddle ring  carbine. Pedersoli manufacture, serial number 1414, 45-70 cal. single shot. I think 70's or 80's? Bought new, fired it several times over the years with cast 405 & 500 grain projectiles. (full power black powder loads as well as smokeless rounds) The 405's aren't too bad but the 500's will get your attention. I think a filling came loose! Nice looking carbine. An unopened VHS video tape and manual are still in the box. (What's a VHS??) you might ask. Maybe borrow a viewer from someone (older?) to see it.
