The Ruger Mini-14 Ranch (Model 5802) is a stainless-finish, hardwood-stock autoloading rifle built on Ruger’s Mini-14 Ranch platform. It uses a simple, rugged Garand-style action with a fixed-piston gas system and self-cleaning moving gas cylinder, and features a cold hammer-forged barrel for durable, consistent rifling.
The rifle is configured as a Ranch model with an 18.50 in barrel, 5-round factory capacity and a non-glare protected blade front sight with a ghost-ring adjustable rear aperture. The receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting the included Picatinny rail and the rifle ships with two magazines and scope rings. Finish and furniture for this model are matte stainless with a hardwood stock.
