The DDM4 V1 is Daniel Defense’s original DDM4 flagship rifle. Built around a 16 in cold-hammer-forged M4-profile barrel with a carbine-length gas system, the V1 uses the DDM4 12.0 FSP Picatinny rail with a forged front sight base and an improved flash suppressor.
Factory specifications list an overall length of 32.25 in to 35.875 in and an unloaded weight of 6.70 lbs. The rifle ships with fixed backup iron sights (A1.5 fixed rear sight and a forged front sight base) and is chambered in 5.56 NATO. The DDM4 V1 is offered in standard black finish and is part of Daniel Defense’s lineup built for both civilian personal defense and professional/duty use.
