The Smith & Wesson Model 1854 in walnut is a lever-action rifle chambered in .45 Colt with a 19.25in barrel and a 9+1 removable magazine tube capacity. The rifle accepts optics via an integrated Picatinny rail / Marlin 1894 hole-pattern interface and features an 11/16-24 threaded muzzle with thread protector.
Built around a forged 416 stainless steel receiver, the Model 1854 uses an XS Sights® adjustable ghost-ring rear sight and a gold-bead front sight, a flat-face trigger and a large-loop operating lever. The rifle includes a cross-bolt manual safety and modern convenience features such as a side loading gate and removable magazine tube for easier unloading.
