The BLR Lightweight ’81 Stainless Takedown is a mag-fed lever-action rifle built around an aluminum-alloy receiver and a detachable box magazine. The takedown design lets the barrel be removed from the receiver for compact transport without losing optic zero. The rifle family is offered in stainless finish with a laminated hardwood stock.
The BLR uses a rack-and-pinion lever action with a folding hammer and a half-cock position. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics mounts and the standard sighting arrangement includes a fully adjustable notch rear and a dovetailed fiber-optic front sight. Detachable box magazines and caliber-specific magazine capacities are detailed in the owner’s manual.
