The Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Maple is a premium bolt-action hunting rifle built on the Model 70 Pre-’64 style controlled-round-feed action. This Super Grade example wears an exhibition-grade maple stock with an ebony fore-end tip, high-gloss finish and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad.
Features verified for the Super Grade Maple include Winchester's M.O.A. trigger system, three-position safety, jeweled bolt body with a knurled bolt handle, a hinged "Super Grade" engraved floorplate feeding an internal five-round magazine, and a free-floating, hammer-forged blued barrel that is drilled and tapped for scope mounting.
