The Model 70 Super Grade is finished with highly polished, deeply-blued steel and a finely checkered fancy walnut stock with a shadowline cheekpiece and black fore-end and grip caps. The stock includes a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad and a one-piece steel bottom metal.
Built on the Model 70 pre-64 style controlled-round-feed action, the rifle features the M.O.A. trigger system and a three-position safety for safe handling and controlled loading/unloading. The barreled action is free-floating with a recessed crown to support accuracy.
Chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum with a 26in barrel, this configuration is offered in a 3-round magazine capacity and a nominal weight of 8.5 lbs with an overall length of 46.75 in. The Super Grade is marketed and configured for big-game hunting and precision field use.
