The Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Maple is a deluxe bolt-action hunting rifle built around Winchester’s modern Model 70 controlled-round-feed action. This Super Grade variant features a gloss AAAA maple stock with ebony fore-end tip, Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, knurled bolt handle and a jeweled bolt body.
The barreled action is finished in a polished/deep blued steel and uses a free-floating, hammer-forged barrel with a recessed target crown. Factory features include the M.O.A. Trigger system, a three-position safety and a hinged floorplate feeding an internal five-round magazine. The rifle is offered in common big-game chamberings including .30-06 Springfield and is supplied without open iron sights (intended for scoped use).
