The Walther PDP Compact Optic Ready is a 9mm compact-frame service pistol with a 4.0 in (102 mm) barrel and a 15-round factory magazine. It features Walther's Performance Duty Trigger (PDT), adjustable polymer sights, an accessory rail, and an optic-mounting base for popular red-dot footprints.
Built with a Tenifer®-treated carbon steel slide and barrel over a high-strength polymer frame with Walther’s Performance Duty Texture, the PDP Compact has a measured empty weight of 725 g and overall length of 189 mm. Safeties include trigger, striker, and disconnect safeties plus a loaded-chamber indicator; the action is striker-fired operating on a short-recoil, locked-breech system.
