The Taurus 1911 Full Size in 9mm Luger is a forged-steel, hammer-fired single-action pistol built on an ordnance-grade steel frame with a 5.00 in barrel and Novak-style 3-dot sights. It ships in a matte black finish with checkered black polymer grips and a full-length forged guide rod.
Designed as a feature-rich 1911 platform, the pistol includes an ambidextrous manual safety (on the full-size), beavertail grip safety with memory pad, and an internal firing pin block. The factory specification lists a 9-round magazine capacity and an unloaded weight of 40.7 oz.
