Full-size SIG Sauer 1911 “We The People” is a patriotic limited-edition variant of SIG’s 1911 line chambered in .45 ACP. The pistol is built on SIG’s full-size 1911 platform with a 5 in barrel and traditional 1911 short-recoil, hammer-fired operation.
The slide and frame feature a distressed stainless finish with patriotic engravings (13 stars on the slide and “WE THE PEOPLE” / “1776” on the slide flats) and custom aluminum grips engraved with 50 stars (25 per side). It is equipped with ambidextrous thumb safeties, a grip safety, a skeletonized single-action trigger, and low-profile night sights.
The We The People ships with two eight-round steel magazines and was offered as a full-size collector/performance model. The model was introduced as a special-edition 1911 and carried a suggested retail price in SIG/industry listings.
