The Ruger Security-9 Compact is a compact, hammer-fired, magazine-fed, locked-breech pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. This model ships with a Hogue overmolded grip sleeve and two 10-round flush-fit magazines, and features Ruger’s Secure Action fire control system.
Built around a precision-machined aluminum chassis with a glass-filled nylon grip frame and a blued alloy steel slide and barrel, the Security-9 Compact includes an integral accessory rail, a fixed front sight and a drift-adjustable rear sight, a bladed trigger safety and an external manual thumb safety. Verified dimensions for the Hogue-sleeve model (Model 3829) are a 3.42in barrel, 6.52in overall length, and a 22.5 oz weight.
