The Kimber Independence is a limited-edition Government-profile 1911 built on an all-stainless-steel frame and slide with a custom Cerakote patriotic flag finish and 1776–2024 laser engraving. It ships with black Lok Custom G10 flag-pattern grip panels, an upswept extended beavertail grip safety, straight mainspring housing, and ambidextrous manual thumb safety.
The pistol features Kimber’s patent-pending proprietary compensator, slide lightening cuts, a forward top-strap port, and Hi-Viz sights (, ). Chambered in .45 ACP with an 8+1 capacity, the Independence is offered as a numbered limited edition of 1,776 pistols with an MSRP of 1618.
