Built by Kimber’s Custom Shop, the Super Carry Custom HD is a full-size 1911-pattern pistol chambered in .45 ACP with a 5 in match-grade stainless steel barrel. The pistol features a lightweight aluminum frame with a stainless steel slide finished in Kimber's KimPro II coating and Carry Melt™ rounded edges for snag-free carry.
Factory features include tritium night sights with a cocking shoulder, directionally engaging slide serrations and a round-heel frame for comfortable concealment. The HD variant is notably heavier than the aluminum-frame Custom, with a listed unloaded weight of 38 oz.
