VP9 Tactical variant of the HK VP9 is a full-size, striker-fired 9×19 mm pistol offered with a factory-threaded barrel and suppressor-height / high-profile sight options. The Tactical models use HK cold-hammer-forged threaded barrels and ship with a 4.70 in barrel and factory night/ adjustable sights where specified.
The polymer-frame VP9 Tactical features HK’s interchangeable backstraps and grip panels, an extended MIL-STD-1913 style accessory rail molded into the dust cover, and a trigger-mounted safety plus a firing-pin/block safety. Tactical models are offered in alternate frame colors including Gray and Flat Dark Earth and are marketed to both civilian and professional (LE/MIL) customers.
