The GLOCK 17 Gen5 is a full-size 9x19 mm polymer-frame pistol featuring the GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) for improved accuracy and a non-reflective nDLC finished slide. The Gen5 frame removes the finger grooves, includes interchangeable beavertail backstraps, a flared mag-well/cutout at the front of the frame for faster reloads, and a reversible enlarged magazine catch with an ambidextrous slide stop lever.
The Gen5 slide is offered with front serrations (FS) and the pistol ships with a factory accessory rail in front of the trigger guard for lights/lasers and fixed polymer sights. Standard magazine capacity is 17 rounds and the barrel length is 114 mm (4.49 in).
