The Colt Defender Two-Tone is a compact 1911-pattern carry pistol chambered in .45 ACP with a 3in barrel and a 7+1 single-stack capacity. It uses a lightweight alloy frame with a black Cerakote finish mated to a stainless slide and ships with Colt-style G10 grips and low-mount Novak pattern sights.
Built on Colt’s short-barrel 1911 platform, the Defender is a single-action pistol with an upswept beavertail/grip safety and manual thumb safety. The model is offered as a two-tone Defender variant (black Cerakote frame / stainless slide) and is configured without a factory accessory rail or factory-threaded barrel.
