The Beretta 21A Bobcat Covert is a pocket-size, tip-up-barrel semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 LR. The Covert variant features a factory-threaded muzzle with a knurled thread protector and an extended 2.9in barrel for use with a suppressor. The pistol uses a blowback action and feeds from a single-column 7-round magazine.
The Bobcat retains the model's signature tip-up barrel for easy loading/unloading and is built on an aluminum-alloy frame with steel slide and barrel. Controls include a frame-mounted thumb safety; the design uses an inertial firing-pin system and a half-cock hammer. Sights are small, fixed-style (half-moon front, notch rear).
