The Taurus 692 Tracker is a 7-shot, multi-caliber double/single-action revolver configured to shoot .357 Magnum/.38 Special +P and 9mm Luger (with the supplied 9mm cylinder). The 6.5-inch Tracker features a ported barrel and ribbed ventilated top rib to help manage recoil and speed follow-up shots.
The revolver ships with Taurus' Ribber Grip®, a spurred hammer for single-action fire, a fixed front sight with an adjustable rear, and two Stellar (moon) clips for 9mm use. The 6.5-inch matte black Tracker has an overall length of 11.64 in and an unloaded weight of 46 oz.
