Smith & Wesson 30-1

Smith & Wesson Model 30-1 Double Action Revolver serial #796816, 32 S&W Long, 2” pinned barrel with an excellent bore. This lovely J-frame revolver remains in excellent condition and has seen little use since it left the factory in 1967-68. The metal surfaces retain about 99% original blue finish showing a few very fine scratches. The service trigger and hammer retain bold case-hardened colors with light operational wear. The checkered factory walnut Magna grips with silver S&W medallions rate excellent and are numbered to the gun. This revolver features a grooved ramp front sight, fixed rear sight, functions mechanically with correct timing and lock up. This is a fine example for the collector and could make an alternative self-defense gun for the recoil shy.
