Smith & Wesson Model 24-3 Double Action Revolver serial #AEJ8838, 44 Special, 3” light barrel with an excellent bore. This mid-1980s Lew Horton Combat Special revolver remains in excellent condition. The metal surfaces retain about 99% original blue finish showing several small areas of minor edge wear along the topstrap and barrel rib. The smooth combat trigger and service hammer retain beautiful case-hardened colors. The grips are smooth goncalo alves factory finger groove combat style round butt stocks with silver S&W medallions, they rate excellent with a few minor handling marks. This gun features a red ramp front sight, white outline micro adjustable rear sight, and correctly times and locks up. This fine gun appears to have seen very little if any use and remains a desirable acquisition for collecting, shooting, or defense. There is no box or papers.
