The Ruger Wrangler is a budget-friendly single-action rimfire revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It uses a 6-round unfluted carbon-steel cylinder and a transfer-bar safety with a loading-gate interlock for safe single-action operation.
Built with cost-conscious cast components, the Wrangler has a die-cast A380 aluminum-alloy cylinder frame and a die-cast zinc alloy grip frame/trigger guard with checkered black polymer grip panels. It ships with fixed blade front and fixed notch rear sights and is intended as an affordable plinking/range firearm.
