The DDM4 V7 SLW is a short, lightweight variant of Daniel Defense's DDM4 V7 series built around a 14.5in cold hammer-forged lightweight government-profile barrel with a factory extended flash suppressor that is pinned and welded to reach a 16.0in overall legal length. It uses a mid-length gas system, 1:7" twist, and Daniel Defense's M-LOK MFR handguard for modular accessory mounting. Finished in black with Daniel Defense soft-touch overmold furniture, the SLW tips the scales at approximately 5.9 lbs and features a continuous top Picatinny rail, a mid-length gas system for reduced perceived recoil, and Daniel Defense components including their proprietary buttstock and pistol grip.
